Have been dealing with Onecom ever since they took over Vodafone contracts and have to say they have always been great. All the agents I've spoken to, each year I've renegotiated my contract, have been really helpful. Upgraded my current contract today with Karl Davies who went out of his way to get me a fantastic deal. He was not only friendly and polite but very patient and proactive when I pushed for the better deal!

OneCom are taking my elderly dementia ridden Dad to court to pay £1000 fine for cancelling his contract a few years ago because the broadband hardly ever worked. OneCom customer service was non existent and no one would fix the problems so he had no alternative but to switch providers. Shame on you OneCom preying on the vulnerable with your dodgy contracts and shoddy service. See you in court!

I managed to end the contract,but not to my satisfaction,gaslighting,let's say strange accounting methods, completely at odds with what is stated on any website.Allso it is useless trying to get any help from so called ombudsman,as these companies are self regulated.GO TO The SIM only pay monthly companies,it wont be as stressful or as expensive.

Long story but I signed up March 2021. Seems like a good deal but 17 months into the contract costs went up dramatically. I've no phone signal worth talking about where I work from home. Complained - they can't fix that and the only way they will reduce the cost is if you sign up for a further 36 months. I refuse because I just want out. They don't do complaints and as it's a business contract Complaints Ombudsman doesn't apply. Avoid Avoid Avoide

I would like to give no stars but that isn't an option.

Please, please do not join Onecom! Don't believe these reviews. They do not care about you, they are rude, aggressive, unhelpful, they lie. You'll be stuck between them and the network provider when you need help as each party says it's down to the other.

The stress they have caused me since joining them in May 2023 is unbelievable. No one responds to you, you are constantly chasing them for answers. Which usually comes across as them sitting on their high horse, not caring, knowing there right and can't be wrong.

I'm sure they've breached some kind of data protection law, as every time I ring complaints (which is a lot) everyone knows my name before I even tell them?

They have breached terms in my contract and they won't terminate the contract unless I pay the exit fee!

Please, please do not make the same mistake as I did!

They are purposefully misleading and deceitful in their selling practices hitting people with extortionate bills. I thought it would be £30 a month for a mobile phone contract but was hit with my first bill for over £300. They target vulnerable self employed people with business contracts that have no cooling off period and naïve individuals are not aware of this and are locked in for 36 months. They deny any wrongdoing and continue to say that everything is confirmed at the point of sale which is further lies. I've had to get the Ofcom regulator CISAS involved to cancel the contract as they sided with me that I was mis-sold. Onecom continue to deny that I was mis-sold and offer no apologies, it has caused me so much stress and hassle and I detect no remorse from their staff as they already know what they are doing is wrong and they continue to do it.

If you are self employed/sole trader and are not VAT registered do not use! Their sales people quote EX VAT and there is no cooling off period so once you sign that contract thats it. Plus all the discounts that they hard sell you over the phone end in 17 months (they don't mention that). If you don't thoroughly read the contract you do not notice this as there is so much on it while a sales person is rushing you to sign.

Don't trust to any words they say. They promise to reduce my monthly costs and offer some additional "free" services. They verbally assured me that I will pay a certain amount and then they sent a sneaky contract. After a year with them ended up Paying £260 monthly instead of verbally agreed £48!

After having dealt with Karl Davies yesterday initially, and again today, I have to highly commend this young man, to his people skills. He listened, explained and found for me a suitable new package for me. As well as fulfilling these requirements, he was chatty, pleasant and genuinely a breath of fresh air to deal with. So much so will ask for him by name if I need any information in future regarding my contract.
Thank you so much, and to your boss, he is a credit to the company.

We cancelled a cervice with Onecom 9 months ago and they are still billing us. I have phones dozens of times and each time they say someone will ring back but no one ever does. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...

Robbers in suits with a head set.

Was cold called and missold a really expensive contract by these thieves. Please please if anyone is thinking of getting a contract go directly to a main provider. I can not stress enough how dangerous this firm are.

Cold called us then got tied into a 5 year contract. Cost me thousands to sort out our IT because of it. Called after 5 years to cancel contract then they took us to court for anther 5 years fees. Nearly £4,000!
Be very aware I cannot write what I really think, nut never never again

From the very start of my dealings with Onecom - 18 months ago - what they were offering was very confused - what I later called "smoke and mirrors". What they promised me never transpired and they fall back on a contract which descended on me with all sorts of other rubbish. They were difficult, at the start, about allowing my wife's phone to go on the account, apparently due to credit issues - but there aren't any. There have been several occasions when calls and texts which were supposed to be free were invoiced: just a few pounds each time, so more of an irritant value. I chased them on the basis that this might stop it happening again. It hasn't

Finally, I found out that after 17 months the monthly credit, worth half the amount I was invoiced each month by Vodafone, had stopped. With 19 months left to run, I was left with a really unattractive deal. Yes, this was part of the contract, but the sales person who I dealt with NEVER mentioned that it would ever stop, she just kept talking about the net monthly cost as if it would go on forever. I negotiated the best deal I could but it's still more than I would have accepted if this had been made clear at the start.

I have just upgraded and am stuck for 2 years but would never recommend them. Wanted a dual sim but they failed to mention I'd have to get a virtual sim elsewhere as they can't provide it asked for international calls but can't call to another country without being charged just class within each country. Complained and was told too sad your passed the cooling off period. Don't trust them!

I'm happy with Onecom. They've offered me some nice deals over the four or so years I've been with them. As market rates tend to fall towards the end of contracts their tariffs look just a little less attractive. That's probably true for most people on longer fixes. But, Onecom insert a review towards the end, which tends to level the playing field. Its good to be able to speak to a real person when needed. My very 1st contact with them and their account management was really winning. Longer term its been pretty good as well.

A very devious, corrupt company who take joy in miss-selling customers. Be very careful checking your contract with OneCom, I verbally signed up to an £18 a month contract (cheaper than my previous deal). After a month my first bill arrived at nearly £200! I called to cancel and was quoted a fee of about £5000+ to get out of my contract as there was no cooling off period. After 2 months the telecoms governing body CISAS instructed OneCom to cancel my contract, refund me and send me a letter of apology. Google the words OneCom and SCAM or FRAUD and get a true picture of this company. My advice would be run for the hills and don't even entertain a conversation with them or it'll cost you x10 what you're expecting.

Avoid like the plague. Transferred out Vodafone direct contract without permission, conned my elderly mother into a sim only contract with no insurance for the same price as our original fully covered policy with free upgrade, finally now to be told contract has been switched back to vodafone, go into Vodafone shop and guess what, still with onecom, and their customer service isn't available at weekends to sort it out.

This company are so polite and friendly to distract you from their devious miss selling! They sound very professional but it's what you don't hear that matters! They give you a great price for a 36 month contract without telling you that they great price is only for the first 17 months, by then you have to agree to whatever price they give you as you are contracted to them for another 18 months! They add more services to your contract without discussing it with you and then rush you through the signing process so you don't notice. Once you've signed you find out 'THERE IS NO COOLING OFF PERIOD!' There is even a Facebook page full of people who have had this happen to them. Please, please be careful!

I was experiencing network connectivity issues with a new phone I had purchased. I used the online live chat and explained the situation to service advisor who came back to me very quickly with a few possible solutions. Instruction/feedback was clear and simple which helped me understand what to do and I was able to resolve the matter swiftly, thanks to the help of the advisor. This was a much more time-effective method than phoning the customer care line which was my original pursuit. Thanks to the advisor for the help, much appreciated!

All of these reviews are clearly fake, if you look through far enough on trust pilot there is even ex employees admitting to the fake reviews! Some of them even say the same thing or refer to the same person, it's actually embarrassing. SCAM ARTISTS, FRAUD, DISGUSTING COMPANY, DISGUSTING PEOPLE! Please anyone who has taken a contract recently and realised they have been scammed like I did please go onto OneCom's website and go to the OFcom terms and conditions C8 document. This states that on the sales call they are to disclose termination rights, procedures and the early termination fee which mine is £******* LOL. Please report them to CISAS, trading standards, the BBC, these seem to be the only people able to take action and cancel your contract. They mis sell, distract you on the call and tell you terms and conditions while in conversation, they do not specify they are about to read terms and conditions, they dont at any point tell you what your signing is a contract and the document says order form not contract. They dont say this is a legally binding contract! They then try to bind by the fact you have signed the document on the phone and they whispered mid convo about no cooling off period and then straight away ask you a question so you dont process what theyve said! They also tell you all these add ons such a entertainment packages are free and included and then on the order form your actually going to end up paying £75 for each of these "Free" add ons which is breaching terms and conditions and trading standards you cannot advise something as free when it is not! NO, absolutely not having this. I will not stop until this company has been taken to the ground. There is a Facebook group called Onecom problems and mis selling LOL an actual Facebook group dedicated to people who have been conned and scammed by the disgusting people working for them. Post your reviews everywhere, post them into Facebook groups in your area, groups for tradespeople, get people sharing, do NOT let them get away with this and do not let them continue to do self employed tradespeople over! The amount of stress, time, sleepless night ive had over this is horrendous!

If you've caught onto this scam act quickly! contact CISAS lodge a complaint, leave reviews everywhere, go onto the OFCOM regulations / terms and conditions which states you have the right to terminate the contract! Good luck

Contracts and agreements appear to consistently change from one day to the next as they pile you with paper work! Getting everything in writing doesn't stop them from consistently amending the contract to suit them profit-wise. You are better off getting a contract directly from your phone provider. They will stop at nothing to get as much money as they can off you - their profit is their main focus not you the customer. Their starting point is a promise of a cheaper and better deal but that is just to get you hooked into their game. The deal is adjusted over and over to suit them. If you decide to take a contract with OneCom, make sure you make good use of your 14 day cancellation period; check and cross-check all the pile of paper work that comes your way from them to make sure it is all saying the same thing!

1 star is too high!
Fraudulent company who took advantage!
Cancelled a phone contract on behalf of my father who was and still is very ill. Contract was cancelled in writing 5 years ago and they claim never to have received said letter. Blamed my father for not checking that the billing was cancelled whilst in and out of hospital!
Also claiming contract was renewed even though sim and phone was disposed of the same year letter was written...
Then speaking with them today lied in the transcripts about what had been said!
Do not trust or get involved with this bunch of scammers...

Keep away from these as they are shocking for miss selling and just want to tie you up in a long contract and charge obscene amounts of money to get out of it.

They are brokers don't own any network. ONECOM to be avoided sell phone and internet contracts you could take directly with the companies in question such a Vodafone. With onecom to be avoided you end up paying a much expensive internet and mobile phone services to cover their commission. ONECOM to be avoided will convince you that by signing up for a three years contract you will save loads of money NOT TRUE. Stay away from ONECON, that's what they are.
