Wish I could put zero stars
November 26, 2022

Ordered from this company in 2018 for my dogs 10th bday which is on Thanksgiving by the way and had absolutely no problems so when his bday started to come around this year I thought I would order from them again...what an absolute mistake! I placed my order on October 11th 2022 well in advance of the upcoming bday on Thanksgiving. I picked the day before Thanksgiving because they offered it as a delivery date and then we could celebrate the next day on Thanksgiving. I wanted this bday to be special as my lab/pointer mix is 14yrs this year and in declining health so it will probably be our last bday with him. The week before the delivery date they emailed me asking for my physical address instead of my p.o. Box so they could ship it ups to insure ontime delivery and I quickly responded with my physical address. Well they put my physical address on the label and shipped it usps which will still go to my p.o. Box. Needless to say it definitely was not here on time and when I did get it 2 days late the toys I ordered were not with it. After emails and a message on fb messenger I got the most unprofessional email which I will attach. My emails to them were simply if u can't guarantee delivery near a holiday simply block the dates around it and how frustrated disappointed and sad I was that what will probably be my last bday with my dog was ruined because of them. A simple we r so sorry how can we fix this and actually fixing it would have solved everything but the rude barely taking responsibility and implying I am a liar by asking for a picture of the box the cake came in email I got back just had me shaking my head say wow just wow. Then to boot like a true juvenile mentality they blocked me on fb I just had to laugh because I mean seriously!? Also the cake was so dry it made my dog that I had bought it for and the other 2 dogs in my house choke so there's that. Please please please do not order from this company! I am not holding my breath for any sort of refund for the 2 missing toys and have already looked up dog bakeries near me which honestly is what I should have done in the first place. The reason they have such high stars on their fb page is because they block anyone that has a problem honestly the WORST customer service I have ever ever experienced...and IF they respond to your email don't hold your breath that it will be helpful or respectable. My advice do what I finally did find someone local to u and give them your business your experience can only be better than dealing with this company.

These people are bullies!
June 19, 2022

Tldr: the screenshot of my chat with the business shows that they aren't just unprofessional they are rude cyber bullies who extort money.
I ordered 2 cakes via their website as a gift. Placed the order on Wednesday and opted for 3 day delivery as the dogs' birthday was on Sunday. The order total was $40 and $12.63 for shipping. The next day, they contact the person for whom the gift was a surprise (as I'd provided her number as part of the delivery address, instead of reaching me on the contact I provided. They told her to pay an extra $17 else the cake won't reach before Monday (5 days from order date), which my friend paid. They have her a 2 minute "cutoff" to pay, and she did. They still told her they won't be delivering by Monday after taking the money! Then my friend reached out to me, and I mailed them. They replied with a massive rant about running to the post office and what not?! Screenshots attached. I'm like, you chose to have a delivery business, you accepted the order, you offer 3 day delivery so why are you ranting to a customer about how difficult it is? Then they told me to pay up more $29 or $39 for overnight, saying the more expensive one is more reliable. So I had to ask if it'll definitely reach me, because at this point I was paying more for shipping than the actual product. They said they do not guarantee it and since it's a Saturday it's even riskier. It was a huge mess by now and I asked them to just cancel it and refund. They said they won't refund a single cent for the cakes (plus another rant about how hard they worked, not to mention the trouble I'VE been giving them). They claimed I did not take the chance they gave us (lol?) to ship on Friday, despite my friend paying them in literally 2 mins as per their demand. So I thought why not just give it a shot and pay more instead of losing my $40. I reached out on the website chat offering to pay the $39. They said they need to check as the cake might have been fed to their chickens (I'm seriously laughing now). Then they say it's not yet in their mouths, but product quality much? I STILL said okay I'll take the cakes. And this time they said give us $52. I asked them how is it that the delivery fee just keeps going up and up with every message. And on top of that they didn't refund the money they took from my friend either. And that's when they sent an extra rude reply saying they're fed up with me etc etc, which shocked me. How can anyone speak to someone in such an abominable way, let alone to a customer? This was the final nail in the coffin. I decided to make peace with losing my money, but I refuse to let a stranger on the internet bully me and verbally abuse me, when all I did was support their business and kept accommodating their outrageous demands. This is definitely fraud, where you can't meet your delivery deadline and harass the customer for it and extort outrageous amounts of money from them, and spew whatever rude things come into your head. Not just a terrible business. But terrible people.

Tip for consumers:

One tip, don’t use this site

Horrible Customer Service - Stay away!
October 23, 2019

What are the basics of customer service if you mess up an order?
1. Apologize to the customer
2. Offer to make it right

Okra and Molly did neither of these things when they messed up my puppy's birthday cake, and because of this I will never order from them again, and will tell all of my friends to avoid them as well.

When selecting one of their cute cakes on their website, I made sure to read their page titles "What you need to know." That page explains that the only way to make sure you get exactly what you want is to email them.

So, I emailed them explaining what I wanted, and they said yes.

When I received my order, the birthday cake did not say Happy Birthday! It literally just had my dogs name. No Happy Birthday, no exclamation point, nothing. Just "Hudson" Looking back at their website, every single birthday cake pictured says Happy Birthday. Why didn't mine? The cake looks funny with no Happy Birthday, and it's a birthday cake.

Also, I requested that the display plate say "Happy Birthday" on one side, and "Best Dog Ever" on the other. They confirmed to me in the email that they could do this. When they were making the plate, they realized that because I ordered the Big Dog cake, that they could only fit one message on the plate. Instead of contacting me to ask me to only pick one, which would have been completely fine, they just decided on their own and picked "Best Dog Ever." Even though they know I'm ordering a BIRTHDAY cake for my dog, and now both the plate and the cake don't say Happy Birthday.

When I contacted them to let them know about the mistake, they did not apologize for the mistake, they did not offer me a partial or full refund, and they did not send me a new cake. They sent me a new display plate, but that's it. (Note: The new display plate they sent me is messed up, and I can't even use it). And they were unprofessional and rude over email, which I did not expect.

Because of this bad customer service, I will never use Okra and Molly again. Here's what they should have thought about: They know that my puppy is turning 1, so this is his first birthday of many. They also know that I'm the type of person who buys birthday cakes for my dog. So I will be needing one every year for at least the next 12 years, and that's just for this dog, eventually I plan to get more. I also told them I was throwing a dog birthday party, because I have a lot of friends who also have dogs, and who also like to celebrate them. But because of the bad customer service, I have told my many friends with dogs not to shop here, and I will also be taking my business somewhere else. That's 12 years of business lost from more than one customer.

Good customer service = loyal customers, good reviews, and free advertising
Bad customer service = lost customers, bad reviews, and bad advertising

I do not recommend this company at all. There are many places online that ship cute dog cakes and treats for similar prices, so I suggest taking your business elsewhere.
