“**stay away from this company they are manipulative and deceitful business practices**”

I worked for this company called Smith Brothers Appliance Repair. Now the name alone could be deceiving on the way you look at it. The owners name is supposedly Jim Smith. Not true its Jim Kolchin. A Russian man that is like a phantom you never seem him, you never talk to him, and never takes any calls. Now there Is a list of things that I would like to bring to your attention because it's wrong the way he manipulates the customers. First of all they tell you there is a service fee that runs from $45-$65 depending on the appliance. Certain appliances run up to $150 like Meile. This is where it gets tricky, sometimes they still take the service fee and just apply it to the labor part. The Labor is priced higher and so the service is still added in. And parts the techs markup parts to make more money, one customer told me that he did the research and the part was marked up by 600%. If the customers did the research on parts they would see that. Now let's talk about the employees which are all contractors so that he does not pay taxes, unemployment or sdi. We all work from Home and there is no office, drive by one of the supposed office it's a place of business that has PO BOXES. We use skype as a way Of communication. Which I have printed many of mine out I have had to lie to customers time and time again about why techs don't Show from wife in labor, car accidents, car trouble to death in family. There is one operator there I don't trust with my life her name is April a smooth talker that can make you believe anything. She is Great at bull$#*!ting her way out of anything. He has several companies under different names that ring to the same line. They just change the number your calling from by Spoofing it. For example they use company called reach me. You would dial the number *******669********473. The first number is the Number you are dialing too the number after the *is the number you want to show on the caller id. And when you call the customer They think your calling from the number showing. I have been humiliated and bullied through my time there. I hated it. I had been looking for a new job for over a year. I finally Found one. But first he was going to cut my hours but then I just said my last day will be the 22nd come Monday he fired me. I'm a Single mother with two autistic sons 19 and 7 I can't collect unemployment because I was 1099 which really I should have been w2. I'm going to file anyway. I hated lying to customers telling them we couldn't go because the techs wife was in labor when really they had no wife but the Truth was the tech just didn't want to because just didn't want to. I'm sending a skype that was sent showing that we would tell lies to customers.
