Oak Furnitureland will take your money and Do not deliver. Check all reviews and social media sites list and lists of very unhappy customers. I've had my order cancelled twice with no explanation. Customer service don't want to know and will lie to get you off the phone. Absolute joke of a company. Don't believe...Do a little research for yourself! Don't walk Run...Away!

Still waiting for my sofa
Very poor customer service. The delivery and problem solving is zero. I wish i never ordered. Last time for sure.
Absolutely disgusted by the lack of concern. The shop and salesmen were lovely and helpful. THEN this morning, day of delivery, I get a call from depot saying bed can be delivered but the mattress is unavailable and cant arrive until 15 May, today is 17 April, because although it looks like it is in stock to the shop, someone in warehouse inputted it in wrong and it isn't. So as our other bed and mattress was taken away yesterday to co-inside with todays delivery we now have nothing to sleep on. Depot lady, although nice just said sorry, shop says call customer services cos we are just a showroom, and as usual customer services are useless. Only suggestion we are given is wait or buy another mattress that can arrive sooner. In the meantime what are we to do sleep on the sofa. The least the could do is lend us the mattress from the shop of something, some compensation. NO NOTHING just a "well mate not our problem, do you want delivery or not". Will not be using again if they are so unreliable. 4 weeks they had to sort this, 4 weeks.
Ordered the Shay Tallboy on 14/10/2020 to go with bedroom furniture bought earlier in the year. Was stated 13 week delivery. It was delivered today with clear damage to a corner of packaging. On opening that corner it was clear that one of the feet had broken away from the corner mount. Phoned to report damaged item and on hold for an hour, during which time my partner, seeing how upset I was, and not wanting to wait another 13.5 weeks for a replacement, has fixed it. His repair is stronger than the whole item. He's now going to put longer screws into the remaining 3 feet as they were fixed into the body of it by screws that were way too short. We're really not impressed with the quality of the furniture when you look closely at the base and back.

I have never experienced such pushy shop assistants in all my life. This was the second visit to oak furniture land in Guildford. I liked a set of table and chairs. As soon as I walked into the store I was asked if I needed some help. I said no thank you I am just looking. Then he came over to me and said the bedroom furniture is upstairs. Said that I was not looking for bedroom furniture thank you. Then again he came up and said are you sure you don't need any help I was so fed up I did not feel comfortable and walked out I had enough. You lost a sale Oak furniture land BIG MISTAKE

We had a bookcase delievered on 23rd Feb last week, and had paid £30 for the room of our choice. 3 guys brought in the huge, but filthy dirty box (clearly had sat in a warehouse for months), took it to the room we chose, but then said that's it, we don't unpack. We were shocked. Had just had the house decorated, and now they left, and we had to drag the box back out of the room to our hall, to have room to unpack it - not easy, and dispose of all the filthy packing and put the bookcase back - then we complain - oh and you can't leave a google review, they just use trustpilot (i.e. So they can avoid bad reviews, filter them and make things look better than they are)
Damaged coffee table on delivery and missing one of our tables. Had to reschedule redelivery for another day and only offered £50 in store credit (on an order we already spent £1,100 on). Customer service is a joke. And by the way, they only respond to Trustpilot, not phone calls or emails to customer service as I have learned. They dont actually care about customers unless you write a bad review here, so if you want anything to happen then dont bother with customer service...
Update 09/11: No surprises here folks, the rescheduled delivery with our missing and replacement items didn't turn up and we've sat in all evening for 3 hours wasting our time AGAIN. I had asked if a different time window was available since this was not at all convenient (5-8pm) and was told no because they route based on their own priority and efficiency, even when they've messed a customer about like this. It will be a fun call tomorrow folks! What a joke of a company.
UPDATE 17/11/23: Third Attempted delivery today and yet again the van turned up without our TV unit. Their Van drove from Swindon to near Chesham only to discover that yet again they didn't have the product. 3 Delivery slots over three weeks we've waited in, 9hours of delivery windows given up to these guys and the sheer incompetence is incredible. How they are going to stay in business when it will take them 4 attempts with a truck to deliver a product is beyond me. Is it possible to put minus stars...?
Rescheduled delivery now 27th November. 3 weeks later than the first attempted delivery date. I'll keep you posted...
Complaint sent twice with no response until i picked up the phone. Ofl procedures state 2 working days. They were likely hoping i would forget.
£3000 spent on furniture with 50% deposit paid, this was a mistake, they seem to care less when they already have the money. Much of the order arrived damaged, 1 item exchanged. The other item was a £550 bed with damage on 3 out of 4 pieces. Not a small amount of damage either. Deep gouges into the wood. Ofl offered just £50 compensation or i spend a day taking it back down and putting it back up again as 'room of choice' is only really true if the delivery men can be bothered. I asked if the bed only had 1 instance of damage what would they offer in compensation, the answer was £50. This is an extremely poor canned response and shows that even management have little they can do look after customers post delivery when you are committed to the order. 2 bedside tables turned up looking like they had been in storage for years and full of grime, but luckily damage free. Its bad when you feel shocked that things are in the condition you would expect them to be in.
I placed an order which cost me over £2,200, I have had to wait 6-8 weeks for delivery only to find that on day of delivery the dining room table is not available! I've received no phone call or email to explain. Customer Services were pretty useless where they said one thing but actually meant something else. I have to wait another two weeks before my table can be delivered. Not sure what I am meant to do whilst I am waiting! Useless
Dining room table and chairs.
2 chairs damaged sideboard thrown from lorry, a wreck.
All replaced within a week
Solid oak? Small pieces glued together in Vietnam. Expected made in UK (oak)
Second purchase. Had to match furniture.
TV unit was in perfect condition.
Disappointed, thought I was buying made in UK. I had photos for dispute but since deteted

After threat to return and refund, damaged goods were replaced within a week.
To repeat myself, Oak furniture to me says UK made, not made in Vietnam
After shopping around a lot, I found the sofa I'd been searching for in OFL. I asked the manager about the composition of the seats and he explained they were the best quality etc. He sat on the sofa whilst talking to me and as he stood up again, the seat cushion bounced back to shape. However, when the sofa was delivered it had a hole in the bottom of it where you're supposed to screw the legs into. It had a cheap plastic covering underneath and wasn't the quality I expected. I rang customer services immediately, who said they'd send a technician to fix it. Not satisfied with that, I requested a replacement. After the phone call, I sat on the sofa to test for comfort, just for a moment, when I stood up the fabric of the seat cushion was crumpled up as if it were an old, well used sofa. Goodness knows what it'd look like after a couple of months. I cancelled the replacement, even then they tried to deliver it to me the following week. Waiting on a refund now. Cheap, shoddy workmanship that should never have passed inspection. Presume it was made overseas.
Apalling company, appalling customer service. My elderly grandmother waited 3 months for her sofa to be delivered following moving back to the UK, relying solely on the stools that she was able to bring back. Upon delivery of the sofa, the wrong sofa was delivered and the next available delivery was another 3 months after this. Having shared with the company the situation, we were informed my grandmother would receive compensation as well as being able to keep the incorrect sofa as a goodwill gesture. We were continually fobbed off when chasing an update on this ("we will call you tomorrow" or "the handling agent isn't in the office right now") before finally being told the most we would receive is a £50 in-store credit coupon for a company we would never dream of using again. Please avoid at all costs.
Dining room table top not level; has not been planed property by the sanding machine. There rep came out and had already made his mind up that it was ok before he came through my door. He said it's living wood and is not supposed to be smooth, needless to say they have done nothing about the fault. Would not buy a bag of chips from this company in the future let's hope they go bust soon
This company is amazing from the time I ordered it 3 days ago. To the time my goods were delivered. The sales man was amazing Paul Welsh. The delivery drivers were outstanding I could not of asked for no more absolutely amazing. I was informed by email and text all the way though my order thank you so much
Delivered a faulty sofa twice - both times it was poorly packaged and damaged in transit on top of having manufacturing faults. It was clearly a faulty line of sofas which they were aware of - the delivery guys said this was a known issue but OFL keep on pushing out the sofas anyway hoping people will keep them and just opt in for someone to come in and repair them, pretending not to know about the issue. Their customer service start off very polite and become very unfriendly super quick when you refuse to accept someone coming round in 5 weeks time to upholster what is clearly a faulty, low quality item that you've paid full price for. Truly poor quality products and poor customer service. This farce has been going on for 3 weeks now and no closer to a resolution. I'd advise staying away from this retailer
Totally disgusted of the level of service we received, part of a new bed was missing, to be told put books underneath the new bed to hold it up! They then after the bed was returned, they tried to avoid giving me my refund of £649! They soon changed their mind when I was getting Trading standards involved. The settee we purchased, not even a year old (recliner) is sagging in the middle, hardly any firmness on the seat. The amount of people that have had same issues with their furniture is ridiculous, wish I knew before. I definitely don't recommend them, shocking service, they don't care as soon as they have your money!

Bed frame, two recliner settees
We purchased 2 Finley electric recliner 2 seater sette's at £799 each and a Finley
Electric recliner at £599. We have had them now about three years and the chair the stuffing has all sank and also worn under the chair and the stuffing is dropping out. It is so uncomftable to sit on. One of the sette's is getting the same way my wife alternates her seating each week from on end to the other. The leather still looks ok.
The second sette has very little use. Very poor for the price we paid.
Substandard furniture sent which required repairs, then sent me a completely wrong item which I had to hold onto for a week till they could arrange a collection. Response from customer relations was 'were only human, mistakes happen' and we'll give you £40 for your trouble.
I have removed my comments on this company as was posted in error. Post was meant for Oak Furnitureland - apologies - see corrected review
Paid £2500 for a sofa, only for it to be delivered without one arm rest (It's sat in our sitting room looking ugly to say the least). Now it's been more than 2 weeks that my partner and I have a case (ofl-*******) opened within their customer service team, with little to no progress. Apart from being told repeatedly that they are waiting on the supplier. Also, they will not contact the supplier, until you pick up the phone, ring their customer service and instruct them to do so.
Each passing day it's getting even more frustrating, as we have to regularly chase the customer service team. Getting to a point, where we would be force to request a return. We thought of giving them the benefit by allowing for more days but that will run out soon too.
So you pay Oak furniture land for sofa worth £2500 only for them to tell you that they can't do anything, it's with their supplier.
Oak Furniture Land! Please please look into this. It's so frustrating.

Have my dining table set delivered damaged. Table top and 3 chairs out of 6 needed changing.
The new table top lasts only for 4 months before it started having weird marks across whole table.
We have been told it's a water damage which was never a case but they refused to take responsibility anyway!
We don't have a kids spiling water on table without us knowing, this has been looked after as per manufacturer instruction or even better! Very poor quality of the product for £1000!
Chest of drawers arrived a week ago. Have been trying to contact them ever since, no one answers. E mailed customer services no one calls back, sent photos via app again no one calls, terrible experience I would avoid this company at all cost
Tip for consumers:
Customer service is terrible

High Expectations sorely disappointed
Ordered 2 pieces online of furniture for bedroom. First thing the boxes arrived soaking wet as if they had been stored in wet/damp conditions. One piece of furniture had a chip on the front. Phoned customer service several times but sorely disappointed on outcome. Felt like I was unimportant and the whole experience stressed me out. I was recommended to try them but I would find it hard to recommend them myself.
Ordered a blanket box that was very poor quality. Very thin walls and top, likely just 3mm thick. I was suspicious of the quality when it arrived as it was so light - not what you expect for Oak furniture.
I expect to be able to occasionally sit on a blanket box and that the sides can take the occasional knock. But, the product had such very thin panelling, it would have split or cracked within days of use.
I spoke to customer support, they dismissed my complaint and told me I should have checked the dimensions on their website. I told them I did and it doesn't say the sides are only 3mm thick. Then they said I should have called them to ask if the product could take the occasional knock and could be sat on. They then charged me £50 for the return.
Tip for consumers:
That the products are poor quality.
