Update from last review. My order appeared at my door 2 days later. I don't mind the delay but the notification I received that my package was delivered came 2 days in advance. Was afraid my order was stolen. The package and products arrived well packed and in perfect conditions. I am so happy his situation was cleared. Next time, i will consider shipping to your closer store.
Order: 1 pr sandals that didn't fit (84.22) Returned within hours. Charged almost $10 for emailed shipping label for return and another 10 for shipping. Total refund 64.12! NO EXCHANGE POLICIES/ $20 to try on a pair of sandals. Worst company I ever purchased from. NEVER AGAIN
I ordered shoes from Nordstrom Rack a few months ago. After a few weeks of getting notices that my order was still being processed, the third week I received notice that my order could not be filled what does that mean? Two weeks ago, I ordered two tops. I am getting same messages. What gives? I wind up with cc credit. I don't like this business practice.
If you order an item and they ship the wrong item to you, you end up getting a partial refund because you pay for the shipping both ways as well as the tax paid on the item that you never received! That was how I felt and rightly so. But I must admit that after contacting them thru their chat now line, I was kindly assisted and refunded the remainder so that I received all of my money back. I'm just not sure how I feel about trusting their shipping department again.
The merchandise that are in the rack stores most of them are such a bad guality and cheaply made. I don't think they come from Nordstrom stores.
I ordered something from Nordstorm Rack, as a gift (was sending to somebody else in a different states residence) then a day later I came on here and seen all the bad reviews so I decided to try to cancel before it ships out (beware it does say to cancel within two hours)
I see all these comments saying they got the wrong thing, or didn't get a shipment (email notification too)
I just called them, was patient with them through a period of maybe 7-10 minutes, was told I'll get a cancellation email within 24-48 hours.
Got the email & refund to my bank by the next morning
I personally was satisfied with the customer service.
** I DID USE PAYPAL** not sure how much of a factor that is.
Don't get upset with it too fast, just be cooperative and patient with them and try to cancel within the next day because that's what I did.
Tip for consumers:
Try a small order first. Don’t go spending hundreds. Most complaints I see have to do with some things ordered being wrong.

My experience with Nordstrom Rack wasn't the best or the worst.
One traumatic incident that I experienced with Nordstrom Rack was when they sent me a pair of shoes that was 2 sizes bigger than what I'd ordered. The shoes were $270 (which is a lot to me). I had to initiate the return and of course, according to their return policy, I had to pay the cost of the return postage ($5.95) even if I wasn't going to use their return method.
Following that, my order somehow disappeared off the grid and I panicked because it was nearing the end of the return window. Luckily, Nordstrom Rack worked with me and proceeded with the return even with the missing order. (The item eventually successfully arrived at the warehouse after almost a month.)
I personally found it unfair that I had to pay for the cost of the return shipping even though Nordstrom Rack made a mistake with my order. Furthermore, I live overseas and my return cost amounted to almost $30, which I had to bear.
Other than this incident, my experience with Nordstrom Rack was passable. I like the fast shipping even though they sometimes lie about their delivery time and pretend that your stuff has arrived when it in fact only arrives a few days later.
I ordered 8 items for the upcoming summer all at the same time. Yet they came in ALL separate BOXES, and the return address was the exact same! That's not only a huge waste of paper, but a huge annoyance!
Also some things are a bit cheaply made, mostly the shoes and bottoms. But cute tops and great prices.

I started buying from Nordstrom rack on line because I had been buying from Nordstrom store and their rack for years, however most of the items I received seemed to be poor quality and just did not look nice on. I like a bargain but prefer to pay more to get the quality look and feel.
I was disappointed and stopped buying from the on line store. I never returned anything but gave away most of my purchases so no savings for me.
I do not recommend it but you might take the chance as find something you like.
I purchased two pair of NYDJ. Great product and great price! However when trying them on I discovered a note in the pocket! It was the most vile, insulting and inappropriate verse! The customer service manager stated that it did not come from Nordstroms distribution center. And it must have come from the vender(NYDJ). And "what did I want them to do about it?" No apology! Just a"not my problem" attitude! If insulting the customer is a new marketing campaign it is working! Time to cancel my credit card!
