Harassment and forcing to receive non working product

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent PlayStation 5 order I received from noon.

There was issue appeared to me after 5 minutes of using the PS5 "The PS5 consoleis too hot"

The biggest problem and really make me tired is contacting noon Customer service to return the order and how i faced nightmares because of handling of the return process with the customer services.

I ordered PlayStation 5, controller, and FIFA24 CD (pre-order)

Condition of the Product:
* When I received the PlayStation 5, it was not in its original noon packaging.
* The product appeared to have been wrapped unprofessionally with plastic film, which raised concerns about its condition that it seems someone return the item to noon and they wrapped it again and shipped it to me.

Product Overheating:
* After trying to set up the console, I encountered an issue where it displayed a message stating, "Your PS console is too hot," within just 5 minutes of use.
* This issue persisted even after giving the console time to cool down.

Return Process/nightmares process:
* I followed Noon's advice and initiated a return request.
* I packaged all items, including cables and rubbers, exactly as they were received and returned them.
* On 25.09.2023 A representative came to collect the items, and he confirmed that all the items were in good condition.

Delivery of Replacement:
* A representative came to return the same item, and I refused to accept the same product as it was delivered in the same unprofessional manner, without noon packaging.

Due to these ongoing issues and concerns, I have decided not to proceed with this order any further and to keep only the separate controller and the FIFA24 CD as I didn't face any issue yet from both.

A threatening call came to me from the complaints supervisor who clearly said "I will writenow that you rejected receive item and we will send the item to warehouse or their store then you will loss the item and the money"

So I followed his instructions and I understood that once I will receive the item I have ro call noon again and request for return again without to open the box or use the PS5. Simply they said receive and call us and don't use it.

Again I follow and I received and I raised another request and they said 3 days we will contact you now almost 5 days.

Today Friday 06.10.2023 at 14:28 Hrs. Finally I received a call from noon. But a new surprise appeared that I have to open the box and use the PlayStation and if they message appeared again? I need to take picture.

NOON forcing me to use and accept unworking product costing 1,579 AED

Never ever think to use Noon, my highly recommendion delete and deactivate your account with noon

KSA - Noon Status: Out for Delivery from April 29 and items not delivered

I have Ordered(Attached Invoice) EZVIZ Camera(C6N 2K 4MP Smart Indoor Security Pan & Tilt Camera), Wireless Bluetooth headset and SDcard.

Shipment Date is 2023-04-02, Shipment ID: NSAF*******555.

I have received the Camera, Wireless Bluetooth head set and SD Cards with the same shipment on Date:10 April 2023. Apart from Ezviz Camera i am satisfied with the rest of the items.

Camera Clarity, Night Vision are not clear as per mentioned Specifications(4MP),it was like 2MP Camera Clarity.

Hence I raised a return request RASAF*******. While doing the return request, unknowingly I have selected.

Return Reason: Item No Longer Needed.
Issue Type: I changed my Mind
More Information: Night Camera Clarity is liek a 2MP Camera. Face Image not capturing.

My Return Request was "Declined" Stating that We can only accept items in their original condition; unfortunately the condition of the item you returned is within our policy.

I made a call to the customer care number and explained the reason for the return request but since i selected the option wrongly they said they will not be able to take back the item. I agreed and since i am going to india i asked them to return me the item after i come back to Riyadh on 29th April,2023. Since my Travelling date was on 12th April.Customer Care Executive informed me like no issues they will try to deliver the items to my address after i come back, and she said like if the customer is not reachable it will be handed over to warehouse and it will be returned back to customer based on request.

When I was in India, the delivery guys tried several times through whatsapp and each time I clearly explained to them that I was in india. Chats are available for reference.

After i reached Riyadh, 5th May i contacted the Customer Care Executives to redeliver the Ezviz camera and the customer care agreed to send it back but already from April 29th it showed out for delivery in Noon and till now i didn't receive the item back. I Contacted Noon Customer Care, Raised Complaints many Complaints and many emails apart from Apoligies, i am not getting any positive response or Amount Refund. I am not sure where it is and I doubt the delivery of Noon.

I am ready to go and collect the items from any location but no responsible answers from NOON Executives.

I am using the Noon Service from the beginning and this time I am very much fed up with the service that noon is providing to the customer and going forward i think twice before ordering in Noon.

Really, I feel like I was cheated by Noon and Noon Delivery.

Im Just wondering How Noon QC declined my returned item, without even opening the pack!

Hi,
I had purchased a Macbook Pro, via your site: NAEF*******178

I received it, unpacked it, checked it, It was not delivered as per the Product Post description,
I repacked it and submitted a return request over the Noon site, and reported facts as below:

"I have to return my recently purchased MacBook pro, because it was not delivered as per
Noon Product Post/Ad description that says its of year 2012, hence the MacBook pro i received.
OS says its of early 2011, 2ndly there's a fault found on the product that the screen module/part.
Has a play of about 15 degrees in it, that it doesn't stop on a position, leaning about 15 degree.
To backward!

Next day it was collected back the Noon delivery team,
I kept on asking Live chat that when my money will be back, as i have to buy another one, later
I saw over my account an update as below:
"Declined: This item is not eligible for return as we can only accept items in their original condition.
Unfortunately, the condition of the item you returned is not in line with our policy We will ship the
Item back to you"

I was just wondering why Noon's expert team Declined and reported falsely - hence it was returned.
In same state - and in just 10-15 minutes information check by Mac OS what was happened to the
Product state indeed?

Later I took Live chat help again - and told them the facts, they opened up some ticket number and
Said it would be taken to consideration again.

Today I chat with the Supplier via What's App - they said no issue, my money shall be returned and
Then I can order another one.

So Im still waiting what Noon's experts and customer care is going to do with me in this regard!

Today they have sent it to me again, explaining same thing the QC checking process went through - Hence I found even my repacking was not reopened - my packaging tapes were not teared off!

Worst online shopping experience

Purchased a Fridge online which was under the express delivery label, my previous fridge broke down and needed one urgently,

So i started searching for the fridge on noon and order the one which was showing the least delivery time.

I placed the order and called the customer service staff that, i need it urgently since all my groceries are going to be wasted and i have 4 school going children.

They said call us back again when the item shows shipped

The attituted was extremely laid back.

Next day it showed shipped, so i gave them a call again and they lied that they have placed it in urgent basis, i followed up the next day and this time infound that there was no request raised and asked them to understand my situation they again gave me false information and lied to me that they have requested for urgent delivery, another day passed by and nothing happened, the day came when it was supposed to delivery and i knew from my experience that noon is utterly un professional, i gave them a call again at 1300 hrs, that my order is still not out for delivery, they lied again that i will receive it vefore 10 pm and after 4 pm, the status went from deliverying today to may delivery in next 72 hours.

I called them back and again they said it will take atleast 24 hours more.
And they raised an urgent urgent delivery request and i asked them to transfer my call to a superviosr, they laid back staff put me on hold and said that i can expect the call from manger in 48 working hours.

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! LYING AND DECEIVING! IT TOOK A TOTAL OF 14 DAYS TO DELIVERY A PRODUCT WHICH THEY PROMISED TO DELIVERY IN 3 DAYS UNDER EXPRESS DELIVERY.

AND THAT MANAGER NEVER CALLED ME BACK, AFTER RAISING A CALL BACK REQUEST A TOTAL 8 TIMES.

THIS IS THE LEVEL OF UN PROFESSIONALISM

I DIDN'T ACCEPT THE FRIDGE AND GOT ONE ON THE 4TH DAY SINCE I EXPECTED SUCH QUALITY OF SERVICE.

MONEY CAME BACK AFTER 2 MORE WEEKS

NOT GOING TO BUY ANYTHING FROM ripoff company

Noon is unethical in every way!

Never seen a customer care service as horrendous and unethical as Noons! They are liars, cheats and literally put the customer down to cover up their mistakes. Recently I purchased 2 Lego toys during the Lego sale and provided the full address, location pin as well as requested fot a "leave at the door" service.

For starters I received calls from multiple delivery men, each asking me for location and I explained the location to them (got fed up of the calls after a point of time). Finally I logged a complaint with noon after 4-5 days since I had still not received the order. Noon promised to look into it at the outset and have my good delivered, but to my dismay I received an email a few days later saying they will be cancelling my order since it was undeliverable! They asked me to purchase it again, but I would have to pay and extra Aed 215 this time (the discount amount), since there was no sale.

I refused and offered to pick the items myself from their warehouse. They said that was not possible. Furthermore started accusing me that the mistake was from my side coz I didn't answer the delivery man's call, also, they must have tried to deliver but no one was there to collect the items! This is utter rubbish coz I always have someone at home. Moreover, I had asked for the items to be left at the door!
Noon so conveniently passed on the whole blame to me and even removed the "leave at the door" option from my order and said that it was never requested. Luckily, I had take. A screen shot and had proof! They processed a refund to my account, without my consent. I didn't want a refund, I wanted the toys since they were birthday gifts (now overdue).

What I've hated is I've explained to them multiple times, but each time they pretend like they know nothing and give me this robotic reply to "reorder". Why should I reorder when there was no issue from my side and bear and additional cost of Aed 215? Moreover, they made me feel like a liar and bullied me over and over again.

Extremely dishonest staff, bullies and basically know nothing about customer service. Noon shouldn't be in this business at all!

Dear readers, you're better off with Amazon- they've been extremely ethical and handled all issues so well! Noon on the other hand - totally unethical. Don't burn your fingers with Noon.

I've still not received a resolution from them and awaiting one! Noon team- if Your're reading this, please respond!

I am stuck with this product a Mobile phone. Its a faulty product repaired 4 times but still has the same problem. SAME PROBLEM AGAIN AFTER 4 REPAIRS and Noon still supports the seller without giving a heed to the customer. Its a high end product and I have spent considerable amount to buy this. But Noon has no consideration for my issue and their unprofessional staff (warranty department Ms. Fatima) speaks with so much attitude and arrogance.

Noon is one company which doesnt care about its customer. Its been proven by Noon not once or twice but four times so far and I guess it will continue unless it wakes up. I have bought a Mobile Phone from Noon Platform (OnePlus Nord) and started facing severe functional problems with the devise soon after I purchased it. I still waited hoping its a common problem but after reading the online about this issue I discovered that many others are facing this problem (Google for oneplus.com / threads / oneplus-nord-proximity-sensor-issue. *******/). I shared it with Noon too but the guys sitting there are so un empathetic. They just stick to some text and read it out. Not every case is same and there has to be a solution to problem and not adhere to policy but try to understand the problem.

I have submitted the warranty claims 4 times so far for the same problem,

I have received the phone back in spite of my repeated mails and phones not to send the faulty piece back. I gave enough chance to Noon and the seller but these guys are hell bent on not accepting the problem. I JUST DONT WANT IT BACK. Since last two months the phone is lying with service center for more time than I got to use it. BUT STILL NON IS NOT CONCERNED.

I dont trust NOON and strongly recommend all NOT to buy stuff from NOON.

I wont sit quite till I am heard and my problem is resolved.

Scam! Avoid at all costs!

If I could take this company to court I would. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY! I have ordered a TV as a birthday present (Birthday on 30.12) delivery date was supposed to be 29.12.!
So on 29.12. I have waited whole day at home, around 2 pm I received message That the item was loaded in the delivery car. During the day i have called customer support 3 times, as I wanted to check approximate delivery time, but all i heard was "we can't check this information", "you will receive the information in sms", "delivery is till 10:00 pm please wait". At 9:30 pm I have received 2 messages one right after another.
1-st to say the driver's number, 2-d to say that he couldn't reach me and the delivery has failed. As furious a person could be after this lie (obviously no one called) and waiting for the whole day at home I tried calling the courier, however his phone was switched off. Then I texted in WhatsApp. After that I have called 20 times and he picked up and said: I had a small car, it didn't fit so I just dropped it at the hub. I asked him a question, how he could drop it of at the hub, if it didn't fit in his car?! Btw, accordingly to their sms updates the TV was loaded in the delivery car at 2:00 pm on the day. I called customer service with total disappointment, left a complaint. On the phone I was told that this courier, who simply decided not to deliver late evening and lied will be fired. I asked the delivery to be tomorrow (on the actual birthday) not later then 1:00 pm, as this was supposed to be a surprise and was assured by the Noon customer service representative that it will be arranged. So next day I wait, at 12:00 pm I called customer service to check where is my delivery, and the answers they gave me were:
1. They don't know
2. They can see my complaint and it will take 24-48 hours for someone to look into it
3. You can't actually choose the date or reschedule your delivery with customer service
4. They can't connect you to the manager/supervisor/courier or anyone who knows or can do anything
After that i have waited for a whole day and no delivery happened. I have called support multiple times and absolutely no help from their side. I spoke to the lady who asked me when should they schedule the delivery, I said that on 31.12. I will not be available at home so on 01.01. Please.
So the courier called on 31.12. Saying that he will be at my door in 20 minutes…. So the only date that I specifically informed them NOT TO DELIVER courier called, same one by the way who lied on 29.12.
So today 01. 01. 22. I have received a message saying that my order was loaded in the car at 12:36 pm…. I stayed whole day at home (canceled my brunch reservation) so to receive another 2 message at the same time at 7:42 pm that: the courier couldn't reach me and that delivery will not be today. And again no one called and couriers phone number is switched off or he simply doesn't pick up…same courier that I complained about on 29.12.
What can I say, i have cried already while talking to customer service. My birthday surprise was ruined, my plans were ruined and I still did not receive my item! This is the worst experience I have ever had in my life with online purchase. Avoid at all costs! Unreliable company with cheating employees! I hope it will go bankrupt and never disappoint people again! Please never use their service!

Deceiving Warranty Policy on Faulty Phones being sold

I am a regular customer but this last experience has been really bad and shows the company is not genuinely looking to solve problem but fleecing customers by selling damaged goods on the website under the cover of manufacturing warranty but then finding reasons and excuses not to honour the claim under the published warranty policy.

The experience goes like this.

I bought a dual-SIM Samsung mobile phone from the website with manufacturing warranty of 1 year. However when the phone was used, the dual-SIM capability didnt work. So we discovered that two SIM slots had the same IMEI number which is a manufacturing fault. I checked with Samsung, all dual SIM phones sold in UAE must have two separate IMEI numbers as per regulatory guidelines.

The phone was used by my family who were travelling abroad and due to COVID, returned after 2 months. Unfortunately during the period of discovering the fault of one IMEI number against two SIM slots, the phone had a physical damage, crack on the back cover but it does not make it non-functional.

I called the customer care and explained the situation, then they referred me to Warranty team who asked me to make the video of the condition of the phone and the problem which I provided. However then I got the call from Warranty team saying that my Warranty is invalid due to the physical damage and I should refer to the Warranty Policy on the website. I have read the Warranty policy on the website and I cant figure out under which clause, my warranty claim is invalid. I asked the agent to tell me the exact clause under which this warranty is invalid but they can't give me an answer. When I explained to them that the phone has manufacturing fault from Day 1 and having a crack at the back did not make the IMEI number same on both SIM slots, I was just put on hold few times and then refer to the same Warranty policy and feedback from the Warranty team.

Noon team - not every customer of yours is trying to fleece you or trying to get a freebie. All I want is to get the phone fixed for the manufacturing fault and happy to take the same phone with cracked back cover if only you can fix the IMEI fault but most likely this will fall on deaf ears.

I strongly recommend everyone not to buy any electronics item from Noon.com as they do not stand behind their own Warranty policy.

Part 2

Since I wrote this review, I have interacted with three different units in noon which are the customer care team, the warranty team and the escalation team. Each has given a different and conflicting requirements with no internal coordination.

First the warranty team asks me to take the phone to Samsung authorised service centre to get a 'technical report' of the fault but when I went to the Samsung authorised centre they politely declined to give me the report since the IMEI number is not registered as sold via Samsung authorised dealer and it does not show up in their system. At least 5 different people have told me to go and I have explained that I didnt get any joy from Samsung service centre. Maybe they can arrange a visit or tell me which centre to go to but they keep insisting it is I who has to prove that it is a faulty phone and not noon.com who actually procured it and the evidence is clear with IMEI numbers being the same. What more can I do if Samsung does not give me the technical report? There is no answer from noon on this - maybe someone can actually tell me what to do next apart from repeating from the script.

Then the customer care team informed me 4 days back that my case has been escalated, they have been in touch with the supplier who has accepted the manufacturing defect and a manual refund will be arranged via the Escalation team which gave me some comfort that problem may be resolved but then I get the call from the Escalation team a day later which tells me to go to Samsung Service Centre. I explained to the Escalation Team member that last call I was updated that it will be booked as manual refund and that they should listen to the recorded conversation and their internal system notes but the story remains the same.

Then the customer care team tells me that a manager will call me and resolve this but its 3 days and no call.

Noon team - please give me one straight answer after listening to your recorded conversation with me AFTER a decision maker has gone through the whole history so I can go to consumer rights unit and put all the facts in front of them.

Dont buy electronics as they are not the authorised sellers or anything covered under the warranty policy

AND NOON CANNOT DO THAT FOR 1,545/- AED, AMAZIIINNNNNG SCAMMERS! I SHOULD COMPARE I HAVE THE RIGHT, NOON TOOK MY MONEY AND GIVE ME FAKE ITEM. HARAMI SERIOUSLY! I DELETED MY NOON ACCOUNT FYI! THE ORIGINAL PRICE OF MY ITEMS IN THE MARKET IS ONLY 950/- AED OR MAYBE LESS, BUT NOON SELL IT FOR 1,545/- AED PLUS NO WARRANTY! I PAY ADDITIONAL FOR YOUR UNTRUSTED BRAND! I POST IN ALL MY SOCIAL MEDIA MY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH NOON AND SAID TO ALL WHO KNOWS ME THAT NEVER SHOP IN NOON! MOST OF MY FRIENDS DELETED THE APP RIGHT AWAY! HOPING FOR OTHERS TO DO SAME TOO. Do not order from noon think twice you will lose money and waste money

Guys if you are planing to order from noon please think twice before do it, there service so bad and the customer service agent even are not caring about us at all, and your money is not safe you should follow them in case of refund, I will share with you my bad experiences with them.
On 24 May I make an order of laptop AC adapter such as the description and foto given, after 2 days I got a DIFFERENT ITEM, witch is totally not the one that order it I follow their policy and I request the return because they don't have (item exchange!) after a WEEK they came and collected the item, and pending money for the returned item it's two weeks and still not yet credited in my account.
So I realized that the mistake can happen anytime, and i made a second order (CHARGER) with the same description and foto given on 7 June 2020, I got the order on 11june 2020, IMAGINE THAT THEY MADE SAME MISTAKE! Again they brought another item totally different from the one witch I ordered. Here I can't say mistake, here wasting the customer time I lost almost a month to get the charger and still I didn't get it! Again I order a mug, I received totally broken yesterday.
IF YOU REALLY WANT TO BUY SOMETHING GO DIRECTLY TO SHOP TRY AND GET OR BUY IT FROM AMAZON BECAUSE THEY ARR HONEST AND THE LEVEL OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SO HIGHER COMPARING WITH NOON.
