Uncaring and comfortable taking your money without completing the job
April 21, 2024

Warning! Please stay away from Nomad. They are heartless and basically took nearly $30,000 from us, which led to another $8,000+ in costs trying to recover it. If you like burning money and time, work with Nomad... and have Nomoney.
Nomad Capitalist/* was hired to help us navigate the complex tax burden incurred from our planned emigration. This process was dependent on the imminent sale of our business—a detail Nomad knew about. The situation was further complicated by our young child's unexpected and frighteningly lengthy hospital stays during this period. The situation was further complicated by our young child's unexpected and scary lengthy hospital stays during this period.
I honestly was initially excited, swayed by the positive buzz around *, naively ignoring the negative reviews. I even ordered his books and watched his youtube quite a lot. I thought there was a passion for independence and self-autonomy there and appreciated it, thinking we were like minded. The salesperson was personable and made us feel cared for, yet, after paying and meeting *, he made us think we might not be the right fit for their program, yet sent us through.
We found ourselves being passed around to different nonchalant advisors, and the sweet, kind, helpful salesperson was unable to assist us, nor was *. They ended up wasting our time with multiple discovery meetings, which was incredibly frustrating with all that was going on.
Then, our business deal collapsed. Before signing anything with Nomad, we had informed the team that selling in our market is tricky and could take years—a fact they were aware of, and that we couldn't move until the business was sold. Adding my child's severe and recurrent hospitalizations, I realized it could take years to find another buyer, and that their advice would eventually become irrelevant. So I asked for a partial refund. If this would have happened, I might of considered using them again when I sold my business, but after this ordeal, I want to warn everyone to stay away from them.
As a business owner myself, I understood there were costs on their end, but since we hadn't really used their services, I thought this was reasonable. However, they outright refused, stating their policy against refunds, and that we signed a contract that said there were no refunds. Low and behold, it is in the fine print, seriously... I couldn't believe that they wouldn't compromise as they literally provided nothing and I was asking for a partial refund. But they were firm on the "policy." I understand having a tight refund policy and saying there aren't any, but I'm compassionate and can make exceptions for special circumstances. However, Nomad does not operate like that. These are not the people you want to work with.
They temporarily paused our sessions, as a "courtesy," giving the option to continue in a 2-3 months. Which I told them was pointless cause it is unlikely that I will find a buyer in that time. When I reached out later, I got no response, so I sought legal help. I couldn't believe they could walk away with our money like that. My lawyer was clear that their actions were indefensible and figured that they would be reasonable if he spoke to them. They ignored his attempts to reach out. Only after we threatened legal action, did their lawyer get in touch, threatening to sue us for their legal costs. Unbelievable.
Their attitude shifted drastically post-payment—from supportive to dismissive. This experience has taught us to scrutinize the fine print, learning it the hard way. Their no return policy, contradicts numerous online testimonies of people receiving refunds, something never disclosed in our interactions, and is unreasonable.
Amidst this ordeal, our child faced multiple hospitalizations. Nomad, fully aware of our circumstances, showed no empathy. Though a lawsuit might be in our favor, the additional time and expense involved are daunting, which is likely what they're counting on. We're now considering a class action lawsuit, as it seems we're not alone in this situation. Many have been disappointed by Nomad. Considering the wealth of information and AI advancements available online, their services seem almost redundant now. I regret not paying attention to a warning review I found at nomadcapitalistscam.com
You have been warned. If they treat people like this, it is likely their advise and organizations will be poor also.

A Truly Great Experience
March 3, 2022

There is no doubt that everyone needs a Plan B these days. Due to the continuous erosion of the Western World during the last several years, I decided that I needed to put the wheels in motion to begin putting together my Plan B.

After watching several YouTube videos, I decided to reach out to Nomad Capitalist. And immediately, I was impressed.

I had multiple calls with Andrew H. Who I am now happy to call a friend. We really dialed in my plan and what I was attempting to accomplish. We went over both tangible and intangible items to make sure that my plan of diversification would work well for me. Without getting too deep in this review, we worked through the fine details and created a path which will benefit myself in the future. We also discussed the plusses and minuses to the various options which were available. One key ingredient to my initial conversations with Andrew is that he listened, he cared, and he was genuine. I will always appreciate that from him.

Jovana B. Also assisted in the intake process. She was fantastic and wanted to make sure no stone was left unturned. Jovana was easy to speak with and I felt comfortable relaying to her what my goals were as well. She is a great asset to Nomad Capitalist.

After speaking with both Andrew and Jovana, my extremely detailed plan was delivered. Andrew personally reviewed it with me line by line to make sure I was clear on everything.

I was assigned a case manager in Justine D. From start to finish, she has been wonderful. We had a constant line of communication which put me at ease. At no point did she ever leave me questioning the status of any of my deliverables. Even if Justine did not have an update, she would let me know that there was no update.

In addition, Justine walked me through every single document which was necessary to successfully complete various aspects of my plan. Once each document was completed, the document was checked and rechecked for accuracy. This was calming for me as I knew I was always in good hands with Justine who proved to be a reliable Subject Matter Expert.

Justine also provided me with key information whether it be location details or contacts which also provided seamless assistance in accomplishing my initial Plan B goals.

Justine also was a great motivator for me as well. If I, at any point, lagged in completing one piece of a deliverable, she would kindly stress the importance of completing it within a particular timeframe in order to move the processes along. She continues to be fantastic in providing support and assisting me as we wind down my list of initial deliverables.

Justine is a kind person and a tremendously hard worker who always has a smile on her face when I speak with her. I know she has always had my back in assisting me with my goals. She makes working with Nomad Capitalist worry-free.

Overall, I highly recommend Nomad Capitalist for those who are intent about formulating a Plan B. One has to be serious about taking actionable steps in order to process as Plan Bs take work to accomplish.

On the other hand, if you balk at change, or if you tend to hesitate about making decisions and find reasons why you choose not to do something; even if those decisions will help you greatly down the road, then I would say that Nomad Capitalist is not for you.

Total incompetance bordering on scam
November 23, 2021

Current Client. Not my real name obviously. Not a total scam but incompetent and way overpriced.
[UPDATE BELOW IN COMMENTS]

Note: Before I begin my interactions with my Consultant (SM) are very pleasant and professional.
My issue is with the overall performance and project management of my plan by the Team at NC.
I didn't pay for a online friend.
Paid a total of $86,000 USD, from the start I asked for a timeline which in hindsight could have easily been achieved.
I trusted that they knew they job and what my goals were and Andrew understood that and told me it could be done.

Because of their slack approach and long contact delays in the first 3 months it was not done on time and it has cost me a lot more money and will cost me even more.
10 months now and all I have is a foreign Tax number and a bank account! $86,000 USD.
This would have taken me 3 days to 3 weeks to get done myself.
[Update: I got my Wife's Tax number done in 3 days by a company called Bordr]

Any change to the plan and they will ask for more money but not discount what you have already paid for but not received.

They are the ultimate middle man, you will do all the work and they just delegate at a snails pace that ends up costing you more money because it was not done on time or in time.

You can beg and plead to get them to start a process on time and they just ignore you and tell you its your fault or not possible.
It is possible and it was possible and I know that NOW.

Getting things done on time isn't just professional, it's essential to a successful outcome and in this case it is what caused the failures so far despite my repeated request to have things done on time.
You are supposed to get a progress call every month form Jovana but I only ever got one call to ask for the final payment.

No point doing a progress call when there's no progress.

I didn't know much about this at the start of this year but now, 11 months in and I am an expert and can see the level of incompetence.

At the start you trust that they know what they are doing but in the end you will see how incompetent they are and that you could have done it yourself for under 20k by hiring actual immigration lawyers and accountants yourself.

To get your documents organized it only takes days to get banks statements stamped, passports notorised etc the only thing that took 4 weeks was the police check to be legalized and apostilled. So why are we 10 months in and still no embassy appointment?

I was sent one embassy appointment with the old paperwork UNCHECKED by them which is their ONLY real job. Got rejected and they blamed me for it. The paper work was correct it when it was prepared and READY in May when they were supposed to put my application in then but not in October. There no effort to rectify the mistake, they just left it and when I asked about it they said no refund and to fly to another country to try there which was impossible because you can not get new documents as the ymake to delete your entire life from your original country.
For $86,000 USD to receive this level of service is heartbreaking.
(Yeah I'm starting to use capitals right now)

Now the main residency application is 5 months late, still hasn't been put in and many of my documents will expire soon, I will go over my 183 days test and into another tax year, complete F up!

Covid did not effect any of this like they tried to tell me.

There is no way they are working with 7 and 8 figure entrepreneurs, they would never put up with this.
I had four deca millionaire friends who were interested in hiring them after me but they have lost that plus other future referrals.

Now I realize AH makes his money as a YouTuber and a salesman not as an expert who provides any kind of real service.
He even told me that he doesn't have much to do with the business in Serbia and he lets the run their own thing.

Right now I have all but given up hope that it will get done at all by Nomad capitalist.
It will cost me more money in taxes because of their incompetence but I will achieve my goals with or without them.
And I will warn as many people as i can on Youtube about them.
I have lost the bulk of the money.
Its a hard lesson but now I know how to get it done myself with registered agents like accounts and lawyers who are professional and accountable for their actions.

UPDATE March 22: - Still absolutely terrible!
We were supposed to apply for the primary resident country in June or July 2021 at the latest.
5 paid police checks and 4 flight bookings changed and we only just applied for the Temp Visa.
Absolute incompetence.
This visa required a 12 month lease to be signed before the visa application.
It takes up to 60 days to get the visa approved by the embassy.
And flight tickets need to be at least 60 days after the application and submitted in the application too.
My Nomad Capitalist Consultant had me change my flights for the 3rd time to late December and update all the expired documents AGAIN.
Guess when she tells me I need a 12 month lease agreement?
LATE NOVEMBER, 5 weeks before I was supposed to FLY OUT.
The whole time I was asking her if my application was submitted, no answer.
So after 2 DAYS of property searching I get back to her and the NC real estate consultant with TWELVE (12) potential properties in order of preference with instructions to secure any of the top 5 without further approval immediately.
Finding suitable properties was THEIR JOB not mine. My job is to pay them the USD $86,000 which I did.
2 weeks go by and now they want to organize a zoom call with their agent in the country.
They were so slow all the top properties I choose were gone.

AGAIN I found another 9 properties and then another 6.
Finally in February a lease was signed and this time the landlord delayed me 2 weeks.
In fairness that was not Nomads fault. Everything else was.

You are told you have a team of people but that can not be true.

Now awaiting visa approval. But all I have so far is two bank accounts, a foreign Tax number and a visa awaiting approval so we can leave.

BTW the Tax number that took months to action by Nomad Capitalist only took me 3 days to get for my wife.
I use a company called Bordr. Live and learn.

The Contract with NC is for 12 months once you agree to them implementing the plan.
No idea if it will be done in time and how they will deal with it.
But so much is yet to be done including the full residency, 2nd residency, passport etc

[UPDATE JULY 22]
The 12 months finshed and Nomad Capitalist left the job incomplete. Not even 30% of the plan was completed! After 12 months all that was done was 2 foreign bank accounts, Tax number and temp visa for immigration to the base country. Pathetic.
I was introduced to the accounts and lawyers that will be working on my case by NC and cost will be covered. While this is not the service I paid for it a relief as I know I will get it done now dealing with them directly. After talking with the professionals they told me nothing was done by Nomad Capitalist and all my expensive documents have expired and I have to get new documents but the added difficulty is now I am in another country trying to source it here in another language and from my original country which would be impossible if I didn't have friends and family to help me collect and post documents. Plus the wasted money, these documents and certifications are not free.

The 2nd residency was barely started as they didn't check the paperwork before sending me to the embassy in another state. LEFT INCOMPLETE and no idea if it will ever get done.

Citizenship by decent, no mention of it. All documentation was provide 8 months ago. INCOMPLETE and ABANDONED.

Reunification for family in new country ABANDONED but I was passed on to lawyers to deal with it directly.

Offshore business, INCOMPLETE but I was introduced to the accountants and my costs are covered.

Immigration in the first country, introduced to the immigration lawyers, costs covered. It is progressing but its slow and bureaucratic here so happy with this as I'm in control of it now and motivated to complete it unlike Nomad Capitalist, AND it should have been done 8 months ago.

3rd bank account in Georgia, ABANDONED,. Georgia changed some laws which didn't fit the plan and the only option I was given was Armenia which I already have so there was no point doing another one there.
Radio silence on a 2nd option.

Other than the offshore business, I'd rather have a refund for the rest and be reimbursed for the cost of sources the extra documents and that is not including the massive tax bill I have because they didn't do what they promised on time. The delay really cost me and I was very clear with Andrew and Jovana from the start.

Find other companies and never pay ridiculous fees up front.

Best of luck everyone.

FINAL UPDATE in response to a question asking if I ever got the plan completed.
Hi,
No. I didn't get my money back but the thing that bothers me the most is that the plan had no strategy or timeline. It was just a few ill conceived ideas in a PDF for 18k USD. The execution was terrible and complacent. They knew that time was a factor and they mucked me over leaving a massive global mess to clean up. 3 times I questioned them on the strategy and they called me impatient and said it was complicated. Which it was not. After they abandoned the plan, I was put in direct contact with the professionals and I was able to do it myself in 3 months. When I asked the professional when they received the job, I was shocked to hear that they had only just now received the job request. I had been collecting and purchasing paper work and documents over a year ago which all had to be renewed and repurchased again.
The rest of the plan was screwed up by Nomad Capitalists lazy approach and lack of strategy and was not able to be completed because when you leave a country they make you delete any connection with it so you can not go back and renew documents and statements to reapply for the 2nd residency etc.
I was supposed to have a progress call every month which never happened, probably because there was no progress. I really did most of the work myself.
At the start i was ignorant but now i am an expert.

Best of luck to you, whatever your plans are.
I recommend Dubai as a starting point.

Andrew and Nomad Capitalist saved my life
November 3, 2020

My name is Mike. I am a 38-year-old quadriplegic entrapanuer with cerebral palsy. For the last 20 years or so I've worked hard to manage and pay for my own care. Because of my limitations, I require round-the-clock care. I feel that my care has become increasingly difficult to manage. Partially because a vast majority of the people who work in the care industry are not meant to be caregivers in my opinion. I often get treated like an object especially by so-called "licensed" caregivers.

Another factor that has made it increasingly difficult is government regulations, particularly from the previous administration. This has driven a wedge between employer and caregiver. These regulations, in some cases, have increased the cost of care by 200%. As I observed the cultural and political shift and the rise of Bernie Sanders in the 2016 election, I realized the clock was ticking and felt trapped, targeted, and unwanted. The government, using the facade of social justice and equality, has been and still is provoking class wars, race wars, and stoking the fatal flames of envy and hatred.

Using the euphemism of "privilege", the government enables and encourages many of those in the care industry to demonize and berate me simply for the color of my skin and my relentless drive to succeed and overcome any challenges that I face.

I knew that as socialist policies became more prevalent in our society, I would lose my freedom and independence, and when the cost of care skyrockets again, I would be forced into a state-run nursing home, in which my death would be expedited while being further demonized by the staff and guilt-tripped for simply existing. I even began to contemplate efficient ways that a quadriplegic like myself to commit suicide to gain freedom from the mental anguish and shame for being alive.

Wondering if there were ANY alternate paths to freedom, I fantasized about finding a solution elsewhere on the planet, but I thought it was just a mere fantasy. One day I searched and came across a video from Andrew from Nomad Captitalist. When I heard him utter the five word phrase "go where you're treated best", a bright light of joy lit up inside of me. Suddenly, I had hope again.

For the next few weeks and months, I immersed myself in his videos, and I finally chalked up the courage to contact them. I was not sure what to expect because I knew that he usually worked with business people that are very successful, and I was just a little guy looking for a solution. I filled out the form, and shortly after Jovanna contacted me. After I explained my situation a bit more she scheduled a time for me and Andrew to have a consultation. They were extremely accommodating to my needs, and Andrew asked me many details about my situation.

A week or two after he fully understood my challenges and goals, he and his team developed a comprehensive plan from finances and investments to residency and citizenship. I then hired his team to help me implement the plan. Andrew successfully identified a few countries that I could live a great life and have much better quality of care for around 90% less than what it currently costs me in the states.

Within less then a year, I was able to travel to the other side of the world, live there for a month, and actually find out what it would be like to live there as a resident. I also used this opportunity to see what it was actually like as an employer to hire caregivers while I was waiting on my residency application process. It was everything I asked for and more. I felt valued, respected, and welcome by the caregivers and culture in general. It was by far the best thing I have ever done in my life. Not only did it boost my confidence, but it also gave me a way out. I no longer have to live in despair and feel trapped and threatened by socialists, politicians, and entitled/abusive caregivers since I can leave any time without being in danger, mistreated by homecare workers or nursing homes, and ultimately resorting to suicide as an escape.

I currently love my life in the United States, but knowing that there are other options has not only saved me from self-destructive wishes and despair, it has really empowered me to move forward in my life and career fearlessly again. The team at Nomad Capitalist has been amazing to work with and have made implementing what looked like an enormous plan a reality.

I am very grateful to them for accepting me as a client and would recommend Nomad Capitalist to anyone who is serious about taking action to go where you're treated best and maximizing all aspects of freedom.

THERE ARE NO FREE LUNCHES - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
October 8, 2020

So, I wanted to share my thoughts on Nomad Capitalist. I have watched hundreds of their videos and read numerous reviews good and bad and an article from a former employee. In her article, she speaks vividly about the nomad capitalist.
Http :// georgiatoday. Ge/news/6447/OPEN-LETTER-on-Unfair-Dismissal-%26-Alleged-Tax-Dodging

The information that I gleaned from their video's was actually quite beneficial, but as with all media it is focused on a single topic as opposed to looking at the concepts spherically. In other words, the complete story is not in their videos. Let me elaborate and explain to you my philosophical dilemma with the lifestyle that Mr. H advocates.

If you really are a 7-8 figure entrepreneur (earning a million to tens of millions of dollars a year) would you want to live in a third world country or would you want the best of everything that money can buy? Most millionaires are trying to go from the third world to the first world. The quality of life rankings and the best country to live in was set out in a detailed article by usa news. https://www.usnews.com/news/best-countries/quality-of-life-rankings. Mr. H also did a video on this subject. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFqd991o1N8&t=319s

Now ask yourself this: Are millionaires moving to high tax first world countries and leaving third world countries or the opposite as Mr. H advocates? Have a look at this graphic showing you what countries people are leaving and where they are moving to.
https://www.visualcapitalist.com/global-migration-of-millionaires/

Why is that? What is the advantage of living in a third world country? The quality of life is poor; the corruption is rampant. If you are very wealthy and not paying bribes, you can easily find yourself the subject of blackmail or worse in jail especially if you flaunt your wealth. If you don't live an affluent lifestyle, what is the good of the money; just keeping it in the bank or in financial assets? When you look at the videos that Mr. H posts of his residences; they look quite normal as opposed to the life of the rich & famous. I think that's a good thing. He also discusses not wearing flashy jewelry etc.

There is another issue as well. Getting things done in third world countries is increasingly difficult. Ever try to open up a bank account in Panama for example? Your access to markets is severely encroached and getting worse every year.

No one likes to pay taxes. And people do move around based on where they can get the best tax breaks, quality of life etc., but it is not in third world countries.

To me, many of the concepts he advances are totally illogical. Again if you are earning millions of dollars, is the cost of living relevant at all?

In summary, I think Mr. H is a very nice guy although. I cannot say anything good or bad about him, because I have never met him or done business with him.

He speaks volumes about tax benefits and I agree they are important, but to what extent? If you get sick or in an accident and you are lying in a hospital bed in a third world country (with 3rd world equipment and physicians) and not paying any tax would you be happy, or would you want the best healthcare money can buy?

The whole world is a competitive market. I think people should understand that in order to get these tax benefits, (which are real and verifiable) you will need to uproot yourself, and your business and your family and go to a country that will be foreign to you. Not just the language, but the customs, the laws, the way of doing business and everything else. Countries are not idiots. Their income comes from their tax base, which they want to keep (the U.S.A. being the most onerous) All of these strategies can come crashing down on you should you get really sick?

Corruption and rule of law is another important topic. If you've lived in an AAA country, you take these things for granted, but you would be making a big mistake by dong that. There is a correlation between the success of a country and its corruption index. Generally speaking, the more corrupt a country is, the worse it is! Even the USA has corruption is not on top. The USA is 23rd on the list. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corruption_Perceptions_Index

Going to a third world country is likely not dangerous. If you do "tourist type things" you likely won't have any problems. Living in a 3rd world country is a whole different kettle of fish! Corruption and rule of law and interconnected! Corrupt countries require you to bribe police, judges etc. In western countries, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Not so in the third world in many cases. For example in Mexico, you do not even get a trial; you have to submit everything in writing. Taxes buys infrastructure such as roads sewers, institutions etc. Without taxation, how are these things funded?

Finally, on a positive note I want to say this: I have listened carefully to everything that I heard in their videos, and I have watched hundreds. I cannot point to a single lie or misrepresentation that the nomad capitalist as said.

He has been researching residence programs for many years and because the market is so evolving; he has news to talk about almost on a daily basis.

In my view, it would be a mistake to take what he says and act on it. It is only general information, and the rules are getting more and more complicated each and every day. Every person's situation is different and by analyzing your particular situation, he like others may be able to offer a solution. But the fit has to be there from a holistic point of view. Be prepared to uproot yourself. Finally, I find his videos very entertaining and I am a subscriber and will continue to watch them. They are both informative and entertaining. I wish him all the best and success.

Just don't do it
April 13, 2020

I worked with Nomad Capitalist and the experience was dreadful from beginning to end. I want to let people know the truth and then you can make your own decision. I'll go through what you can expect below. This isn't just my experience, but also the experience of at least four other clients I'm aware of and have spoken to.

1) Pay a $500 deposit for a call with Andrew. You feel great to know you are soon going to be speaking with the man himself, and finally getting your situation sorted.
2) At the end of that call, you either pay him $10,000 over the phone for a 'plan document', or you walk away. He makes sure to mention that walking away means he won't engage with you again if you change your mind. Classic pressure tactics to coerce you into thinking you have no other choice put to pay there and then. Andrew is very convincing and says all the right things on the call.
3) You wait 2-3 weeks for a 'plan document' to arrive. You soon realize this is made up of 75% boilerplate content, copy and pasted from a template. It appears Andrew fires over a few action points to his planning team (one girl) in Serbia after the call and she then copies and pastes that blurb into a document, makes it look pretty. This is where the 'pushing' you into a certain direction will occur. That direction is usually what's easiest for Nomad Capitalist to practically get done, as quickly and cheaply as possible. Usually involving lots of obscure countries/ banks etc.
4) On the last page of the 'plan document', the execution prices will be listed. From what I can gather talking to other (very unhappy) clients, the usual fee is between $50,000 and $65,000. My fee was in the higher part of this range. This fee is totally separate from the document fee.
5) Although you're not entirely convinced by the plan, you still hold out hope that the plan will come together, and Andrew knows what he's doing. You listen to Andrews, it's now or never pitch, so you agree.
6) You pay the tens of thousands of bucks on the promise that your plan will be complete in just a few months from now.
7) By this point Andrew is long gone. It is important to note that Andrew is literally only the marketing face of Nomad Capitalist. His job is sales. You are quickly passed off to unqualified individuals spread across Eastern Europe. I really feel sorry for his staff because they are on the front lines dealing with all these clients and giving excuses for why things aren't going to plan. I personally know many staff are unsatisfied by how Andrew runs his business. His staff retention rates are terrible, so you'll be passed around from person to person.
8) Week 1 will involve you giving these random staff all your most important information and documents. All your sensitive information will go onto a cloud platform. No one explains the process to keep these extremely important documents safe. The staff are based in co-working spaces, so security isn't tight. You don't ask questions because you just want to sort out your affairs. Hell knows what happens if something goes missing?
9) Week 2-3 things will go quiet. You expect the 'team' are working full-time on your case getting everything completed. You feel good though as things are finally getting done after taking the plunge. Don't fool yourself. Very little is happening. They've got so many clients at the same time so paper pushing is the main activity. You CANNOT under any circumstances speak to Andrew. You won't be provided with his email address, and it's strictly forbidden for his staff to provide this to you. Anyway, he's way too busy working his sales funnel to deal with existing clients who have already paid up.
10) Week 3-16 you'll start getting concerned, then a little worried, then you'll become desperate. Wondering why only the very easy items on your plan have been completed. Maybe a few random bank accounts are open which you have no idea how to use or what the purpose is. The staff don't know. Maybe a company or two have been set up, but the holistic plan isn't coming together. This is also where you begin to realize the plan doesn't make sense for your situation. You begin seeing gaps and holes. You begin asking why didn't we do that'? You then begin to complain. That's when the push back starts. The excuses. The staff issues. The regulations have changed. We didn't realize that was a requirement. How about this instead? You realize you may need to adjust the plan to get things back on track. But no, you signed the contract so nothing can be done now. You may as well start from point 1 (see above) all over again. Andrew sees any adjustment in the plan (if it's his fault or not) as a reason to ask for more money. That'll be another $15,000 he'll say, even though he hasn't achieved half of the original plan, or actually paid for the lawyer or accountant fees himself for an item. Remember, you are in deep now ($60,000+) so what does an extra $15,000 matter to get this finished.
11) Week 16. This is where you realize you made a terrible mistake and wasted a huge chunk of money. Andrew is off on holiday (he's usually on holiday in a 5* hotel trying his best to avoid clients) and you are left wondering which way to turn.

The above was my experience, but I also know of at least four other clients who had very similar experiences to mine. Most people don't share their dissatisfaction with the services at Nomad Capitalist because we are holding out hope that things will eventually get done.

My advice would be to do your own research. Watch Andrews YouTube channel because 100% of his knowledge/ content is published on there. Don't expect any hidden content. He shares everything, so watch all the videos (you'll begin noticing the same countries/ themes). Get in touch with some of NC's competition, get a feel for the options. Then once you've decided on a country or locations, go hire a lawyer to find out the details and get them to execute. Hire a lawyer in your home country to make sure all is workable also. To give you some perspective, the clients I know and myself all believe the professional fees Andrew incurs are approximately 15-20% of the actual fees charged by Nomad Capitalist. That's a nice margin for Andrew, but when the advice given isn't even correct, it's just wrong. Don't make the mistake I and many others did.

Never do business with them
October 12, 2015

I inquired to them about six weeks ago to receive a passport from my family tree. They assured me it would be easy and I trusted their "reputation in the industry" as they like to say. I chatted with a man named Geg and a woman named Sarah on Skype and they almost instantly billed me to get started. They wanted me to wire the money but I wasn't about to do that so I went through Paypal. After weeks of "progress" they reneged and told me they couldn't do what they promised. I told them I wanted my money back and they just tried to sell me on other products. They also tried to pretend like I didn't tell them the scope of the situation and said most of what I said before was new news and that's why they couldn't fulfill their services. I told them again I want a refund and didn't hear from them for weeks. I tracked their emails and I know they opened them. The only response I got was when I had Paypal freeze their money. They said returning the money will take days to weeks to transfer accounts! I escalated it to a claim and greg sent me harassing emails saying "I don't think anyone has ever explained to you that you don't get to hire a company and then decide on your own terms when and how they refund your money." I almost have my money back thanks to Paypal but don't ever do business with these people. They are unprofessional and only want to steal your money.

UPDATE: So Paypal got most of my money back but there still was a little I'm still dealing with. I tried to email Greg back with no response. I emailed Sarah and she said she doesn't want to deal with me because of this review I wrote. She then said Greg is no longer with the company (Fired?). She gave me the same lies about how they are working on refunding my money. I asked when I can expect it but she never responded.

After they found my reviews there suddenly, within days, happened to be lots of other vague positive reviews which seems pathetic to me but feel free to read about other real reviews instead. On this site, they are fluffing their numbers by writing fake reviews around the same date they responded to my review.
