Nicelocal

I'm the owner and Designated Broker of Westlake Mortgage in Seattle. When my name and or company name is typed into any search engine except Google, ninelocal is the very first, front and center result for my business. Photo below. The only site where anyone can review my company or me personally is Google business page. That page has 41 total reviews all of which are 5 stars, earned over a 4 year period. The reviews are all very complimentary and go into great details. A screenshot of my company's and my Google business page. That's an incredible difference, especially in the context that each site is drawing from precisely the same reviews. One photo correctly portrays the reputation and trustworthyness of the business while the other photo negligently and egregiously defames the business by choosing to portraying a business as having a very poor reputation in the community and being untrustworthy. The worst part is they use this tactic to essentially extort you into paying the monthly subscription fee in order for them to "correct" any false reviews. They need to correct the way in which they collect and use data because a single one person can vote on each review as MANY times as they want to either improve or worsen your "overall" rating, which is proprietary to ninelocal. I have a real life stalker with a restraining order and he's so desperate to try and 'cancel' my business/me. An arbitrator will likely determine what the monetary value of is of ninelocals negligence allowing it and requiring a paid subscription to even inquire.

My business partner told me about Nicelocal. He found it when he was looking for a good restaurant. After looking into what Nicelocal has to offer, I realized that it deserved my attention and bought a Premium plan right away. My company already had a card on the service, so we just edited it a little and updated it with some current information. Our clients have been leaving a lot of reviews on Nicelocal, which is helping us stay at the top of the search results.

I discovered a profile of my business on nicelocal. There were inaccuracies and the reviews lifted from other sources had an erroneous rating. I attempted to claim my profile to correct or delete it. But a code by phone was required which nicelocal claimed they left for me. But I do NOT use a phone number for my business and have no idea who they called. Certainly not me! I brought this to their attention and they responded again that I needed the code they phoned me. Totally unprofessional: disregard for accuracy and despicable customer service.

We chose the Premium plan because it lets us add a wide variety of content. Our team filled our Nicelocal page with lots of information, including photographs and prices. We also track our competitors' stats and respond to reviews. This gives us a good idea of the quality of our service and provides us with effective tools we can use to analyze our competitors. The strategy we've adopted has allowed us to significantly improve our service and increase the loyalty of our clients

"Nicelocal" seems to have lifted info off of a legitimate listing for our business, and created their own parasitic "listing" which we have not approved, and want nothing to do with. They have added additional inaccurate information. I have emailed twice to request that this listing be removed. No response. How is this legal or ethical? Like most scam sites, there is no owner information listed or legitimate way to contact them. It may take a class action suit to stop them.

I've been using Nicelocal for over a year now. The reviews on Nicelocal have helped me out on multiple occasions during that time. I think customers should leave as many comments as possible and tell people what they like or don't like about a company. From what I can tell, the companies on Nicelocal react to reviews really fast and respond to what people write. Feedback is super important. It's nice to go back to a place that reacted to your comment and is trying to do better.

I never thought that getting a card on Nicelocal would bring me more clients, but that's what has happened. People regularly come to us thanks to reviews on the platform. In the end, I decided to try buying the Premium package. And it actually works: we began popping up in the top search results for our area, and our flow of clientele has increased respectively. And it really is convenient: the card doesn't take much time, but the benefits and the profits are increasing every month.

Every since my company's page appeared on Nicelocal, we've become much more recognizable than before. We make sure the information on our card is accurate, regularly updating our price list and adding photos. We try to respond to Nicelocal reviews right away. When they come back to our salon, our clients thank us for responding because it makes them feel like we care about them.

I just recently noticed this so call review website pop up in my google reviews. They are posting inaccurate and misleading information about my business (in Toronto). I have worked hard to maintain a 5* google rating but somehow on their site we're at 4.7 and ALL reviews were pulled from google. How in the hell is that possible? How do I go about removing all of my business info from their site. My next move is to report them to the Better Business Bureau.

I was charged $199 for ink even though I canceled my subscription. But contact nicelocal no response. Unprofessional. Looks like they're doing it on purpose

They have obviously scrapped pictures and reviews etc from Google but have failed to accurately show our consistent 5 star Google status; I looked them up and their publicity suggests they do research and carefully craft profiles: nonsense, they are web scrapping then getting some cheap resources to minimally edit stolen copy off Google. These resources obviously don't read the original content properly.

Nicelocal has quite big catalog of companies. You can select by review, by rating, or by desired neighborhood. Within the last month I found a restaurant on there for a birthday celebration. I could read customer reviews in advance and find out the current information on their page. I was happy with everything. If you're looking for some service, you can definitely trust Nicelocal.

They will not allow you to post comments that is telling the truth about the company. If your willing to lie or post a good review it's approved but if you state how the company has issues they will send you a message rejecting your review. Then tell you it was an offense ive comment and they can't post it. My comment "I don't like the way this company handles their issues" nothing in this was obscene or held foul language according to the reason they rejected my reviews. So all you will get from there website is lies

I recently had to call a plumber in the middle of the night. I did a search on Nicelocal and immediately found a bunch of companies that offered this service. I was a little confused at first, but then I saw that each company had a rating, reviews, and even pics. I picked one of them and called them up, and the plumber showed up just an hour later. Nicelocal helped me solve my problem really quickly and made me confident I'd get good results. I definitely recommend it.

Nicelocal is the most convenient recommendation service out there, with lots of useful information, reliable reviews, and accurate ratings. I use it constantly, and I've been satisfied every time. The site works quickly even though it has thousands of company cards. And it sorts your results instantly, including loading photos.

The best thing about Nicelocal is that you can dispute complaints from clients. Needless to say, clients do sometimes leave unfounded negative reviews, which just brings the company's rating down. The intuitive, easy-to-use interface is a real selling point, as is the ability to make your company's card stand out and post all the information clients need right on it. I'm going to keep taking advantage of Nicelocal's services going forward.
