I purchased the garden lights, being that I didn't have a choice of the color, I assumed I was getting more than one light, so I paid for three. I thought they were sets, not 17.99 for one light. I have been going back and forth for a month and they never said it was for one light! I thought I was missing lights until a reviewer told me it was for ONLY one light! They are located in CHINA, no USA warehouses, so the cost to return the item is almost half the cost of purchase. I will not purchase anything from them again! They must get lots of emails they must respond to because of all the emails, and I have received at least 6 of them and they all say the same thing: Dear,

I just discovered NextDeal and was thrilled to make a few different orders. My decision to order using this site over others was based on a two factors: price and timeline. Almost everything on NextDeal, to include the items I purchased, are advertised to be shipped within 24 hrs. Many items even have a clock counting down the window of time to show when a certain shipping date/time is guaranteed.
I understand that this timeline is referring to how long it will take to initiate shipping, as in get the items moving and on their way through Couriers that may/ may not be responsible for their own delays. Just to be clear, my expectations are not unreasonable and I Do NOT expect items to actually be delivered in this 24hr period. I DO expect the items to be shipped and then I add the "10-15 working day" estimate to arrive at the anticipated delivery date.
I order at approximately 0700 EST on Monday morning. It is now Friday afternoon and I have yet to even receive tracking numbers. When I contacted NextDeal via Facebook chat I was informed that my order was being prepared for shipment. The fact that I made multiple orders (and sent the numbers for them separately) leads me to believe that the message I received was a pre-typed message or the person might have just been lazy. The most significant problem with the response of course was the fact that none of my purchases were even on their way and this is Day 5 following the order date!
I mentioned my concern and received an insincere apology that included passing the blame onto someone else, the Courier, stating, "There could be some delay in their system."; clearly this is not the case of the items are still being prepared for shipping. This is super disappointing, especially if you are expecting a business to keep it's word or at the very least be honest when confronted with an unhappy Client. I do not normally get upset or leave negative reviews, but the conduct of the Customer Service Rep combined with a blatant lack of concern for lying to customers on what I have to assume is a regular basis has led me here.
Since I was so motivated today you may see the company policy description below verbatim which makes it seem even worse. They need to update their descriptions, stop falsely advertising a faster shipping timeline AND teach better customer service.

NDS: Thank you for your patience. We sincerely apologize for the delay in your shipping notification. Your package has been accepted by the courier and is being prepared for shipment. However, the courier has yet to provide us with your tracking number.
There could be some delay in their system, and we have already sent an email to ask for the tracking number. Once we get it, an automatic email with your tracking link will be sent to the email address you used for your order.
Me: When I purchased the items I did, the Next Deal Shop site boasted that everything is shipping within 24 hrs.? Why is anything still be prepared? Is this normal? And is this the case for all of my orders?
NDS: We do send out every order in 24 hours, but shipping time usually takes 10-15 working days.
Me: Yes I understand that shipping can take longer and that is pretty standard. However, getting it prepared for shipping should not take any longer than 24 hours. The products should be moving at that point. That is what shipped within 24 hours means. Disappointed. This false advertisement is costing me an extra week as I ordered around 0700 on Monday and it is now Friday afternoon. Please communicate through your chain that this process needs to improve or be advertised correctly.

I bought an item through their site which was outdorro solar lights. I was quite interested in this as I saw the same product in the shops but saw it on the site so decided to give the business a go. I bought and delivery was meant to be 3-4 weeks. I waited and tracked the order as soon as the email came through. This then couldn't be delivered as the address was invalid and was returned to sender. I emailed them as I was confused as I've had numerous items from different sites delivered to me at the very same address. They got back to me after three emails to chase this up. When they did get back to me, they said sorry for the inconvenience and asked me to send the address to them so they could send a replacement. I was hesitant but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and so was very clear with where to send it. So the process began again. This time I tracked it closely. Once 3 weeks came along I was miffed as to where it was so I checked again and found that again it was returned to sender because of invalid address. I emailed next deal shop again and they told me that as they haven't got it then to call the postal service. I did exactly that only to be told that the address wasn't right because the company had only put half the address on there so it didn't even make sense. I have now emailed them again only to be told they want to send me another replacement. I have told them no and am pushing for a refund, only to be ignored now after several emails to chase this up. This is VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and I would NEVER BE ORDERING THROUGH THESE AGAIN. I URGE EVERYONE TO NOT ORDER THROUGH THEM AS WELL! Don't fall into the same trap!
