This site surely has its heart in the right place. Very few or even no ads. Been going forever. Quality place to be!
Newgrounds was once a neat site of flash games in the 1990's and 2000's, starting off as a display of one man, Tom Fulp, while eventually evolving into a site where people can post their own games and movies. However, over the years, it has gone to the point where it's no longer in its former glory. While it does have some good games and movies, there are movies and games that either copy off each other or are basically copies of more popular games (one game is basically the NES game Contra recreated, which I wonder how it stayed up without Newgrounds getting a cease and desist from Konami, as while it does add options and improve the effects, it adds nothing new, as it's just the same game as some gamers growing up in the 80's and 90's played on their Nintendo Entertainment System, and most movies posted on the site nowadays are either using characters recreating scenes from various movies and TV shows or basically having a character do a meme, which there are way too many of the latter), there are two things that ruin the experience. The first is basically how toxic other members can get when you review a movie or game. Like almost every other site (YouTube, deviantArt), the members are not kind to users, especially those who don't have the opinions they expect them to have. Don't like a movie because and in your review, said it's because you're not into a certain humor it follows? Well, be prepared for other users to use the React feature to spam angry emojis to show how they hate your opinion or use the laugh emoji as a way to make fun of you for your opinions. Post constructive criticism on a game suggesting how to fix it? Prepare to be flamed to kingdom come. While there are good people who agree, sadly, they are far and few. Also, expect to be bashed for your rating as well, as rating something lower than the majority will open you to some backlash, especially if you post a review explaining why you rated a movie or game as such. But the other problem is what makes this site bad. While the site allows stuff to be rated for appropriate age group (lowest being E, for everybody, to A, for adults only), most of the A-rated stuff is actually questionable. No, not because of the content, which while I cannot say to avoud breaking Sitejabber guidelines (but is expected from such a content rating), my main issue is that some of the movies and games with the rating cross the line. However, the site has sadly come to be filled with this filth, as users like this so much that they vote it high to keep them on the site, regardless of the illegality, and anyone pointing out the canon age are ridiculed and flamed. This I can see as a major problem for NewGrounds going into the future. In conclusion, while Newgrounds still have some good games and videos, it is not as good as it used to be. If you do use, be sure to avoid posting reviews, and thankfully, the site does have options to hide movies and games of certain content ratings, so that earns it an extra star.

I just love this website for everyone. I like watching the cartoon movies people make and I love the music. It also has a lot of fun free games to play. You can add games, movies or music and other people rate them, which is fun. Newgrounds also has a very good forum
Nothing really to say. This is the original site for flash animation and games. There's so much of an underculture to it and influential series that you wouldn't believe. It's declined in recent days though.
I've spent a lot of time on this website when I was a teenager. It was really great then and it still is now. Always full of an endless supply of funny games and videos.
A great gathering of any flash content - movies, games, slides etc. Accessible from everywhere - so this can also be a great timekiller while waiting for something =)
I tend to stick to the first page animations and games these days but several years ago I devoured this place nearly everyday. I saw a lot of bad things on there as a child, even though I stayed away from anything labeled "mature" or "adult" (they have a rating system but not everyone uses it correctly).
Still, if you're bored and looking for entertainment, there's years of free animations, games, music, and art to brighten your day with. A lot of the stuff is aimed at a more geeky audience but there's something for everyone if you're willing to look for it.

I love a lot of the animations on newgrounds, there are many talented users on there. It's over all a pretty good place for flash games, flash animations, music, and much more. Tom Fulp did a pretty good job. 5/5

I bookmarked Newgrounds.com when I was in middle-school. That was almost ten years ago. Newgrounds.com is still in my bookmarks. Need I say more?
Site has more interesting unique user made games, music and movies than you could ever absorb. Lots of great quality stuff, makes the stuff people try to charge you for look like complete garbage.
Like another reviewer said, this site is all about its own motto "Everything, by Everyone." This site brings together a lot of flash movies, games, and even self created music. A lot of these works end up being collaborations by many of the community, and seeing ones with some of the "well-known" users, you know you are in for a treat.
Be careful around the site however, this community has its share of trolls, bullies, etc. There is also a porn section, however they don't wholly promote it on the front page, and have an 18+ warning to ensure that youngin's try to stay away from that area.
Many laughs will be given on this site, and many s#! Ts will NOT be given from the site.
This is a very good website I visit daily. It has everything you need to keep you entertained for the whole day. The website has user-submitted flash videos and games, with a commenting and rating system that is very effective, and also adding to your favorite flash videos/games etc. The website also has a audio submission system, with many great sound files being submitted to newgrounds every day, and all of them able to be downloaded so you can listen to it on your computer without the internet. The site also comes with a entertaining forum, also some parts of it will be for mature audiences only.
A very good site that I highly recommend for web-browsing people.
