Company scammed my wife out of 650$ of computer parts and components. She ordered 9 items, recieved 1. Box un opened, after contacting new egg, they blew it off for 2 months until we disputed the charge on our credit card. Avoid at all costs. Read reviews. They do this to hundreds and hundreds of people. It's not unheard of, please avoid doung business with them as you'll be left stolen from.

I heard about Newegg and thought to try it out. The only positive thing I can say is that my monitor arrived in 4 days and my tower in 5. Was all excited to set up my gaming system to find out that the tower wouldn't come on. Had my sons over looking at it and finally after 3 crazy hours realized that it wasn't even wired correctly. I think if you're going to pay these prices, at least make sure you have your people wire them correctly. Makes on very skeptical of reordering anything!

I used a Gift card to make part of a payment on an item that became lost in shipping, ok that sucks but they issued a refund (yay). Refund said all payments would go back to their source. That works for me... Only the GC I used isn't working, and there is a different GC number on the refund, but no Pin number. I contacted support and they said it would be my pin from my card I used, so I have tried every combo I can of cards and pins that I have emails for and nothing works. That's $25 I will never see, because they wouldn't even pull my account to look to see what was going on.

I bought a gaming PC because it was a good deal on their website, but after my experience here I will never buy another PC online again.

The one they sent me won't even power on, and now they are sold out of replacements for at least 2-3 weeks and with return shipping and replacement shipping, the whole process would take a MONTH from order to getting a computer that actually works.
I could return it and never do business with them again, but of course now the Cyber Monday deals are over so I won't find a comparable deal to what I got.

This left a very bad taste in my mouth and next time I need a PC, I'm just going to the Best Buy across the street from my house instead of wasting time with this online shop.

I give Newegg a 2 star rating for good reason. I have ordered plenty of items from Newegg in the past and I tend to stay away since the stories I've heard of packages being marked as delivered but the driver does not attempt to deliver it. Well it's unfortunately more than this. The purchases I've made in the past either came on time or late. It was always a 50/50 chance you would get it on time(Pre-COVID). Luckily I never purchased anything of great value until now. I recently purchased a new $200 motherboard and was anticipating its arrival so I decided to stay home for most of the day to be there to receive it. I also have a ring security camera that I have set to record at all times. NO ONE attempted to deliver it but marked it as "delivered". After doing research I found its the shipping company OnTrac that Newegg uses most of the time for their "fast n free" shipping. 1.1 STARS! However the employee reviews mention it's a good place to work. No duh, you can steal mail(federal crime btw) and are protected by the policies in place. After being tossed back and forth between OnTrac customer support and Newegg customer support I can finally open up a claim. What I WANT is my motherboard AND my money back since this is putting off my pc build for at least another week. Most of all I want OnTrac shut down or delivery drivers held responsible for being thieves on a federal level.

I bought the 5700 XT from Newegg and I was having minor problems with the card. I didn't want to take the risk of more problems so I try to return it. I heard the GPU have driver issue but bought it otherwise since some people say they didn't have any problem.It cost a big whopping $60 stocking fee for having the item for like two days. They don't even pay for shipping to send it back so you have to pay for that too. I also read that some people say Newegg didn't even accept their returns. If you do buy from Newegg, make sure you going to keep the item or else it will cost you money! Otherwise go buy somewhere else like Amazon. I return stuff from there before with no stock fee and got my full payment back!

Marketplace orders can be slow to ship and can take up to 8 days to arrive, Newegg has no control over the order, once it is sent to a marketplace seller. Some don't work weekends so you can't communicate at all. If you do purchase from a marketplace seller, make sure you read all the fine print and check their return/cancellation policy. Restock fees may be charged. I would personally try Amazon first.

I use to use Newegg and now I find all these horrible reviews, I ordered a SATA to USB drive enclosure that was $39.99, they instead shipped me the cheaper model of a different make and model that cost $22,99. I am currently waiting on a respoce from customer service, however based on the latest reviews of thier CS I am not expecting positive results and don't want to deal with returning and waiting all over again. I rather have a refund and not in store credit and be on may way as a lesson learned consumer! I doubt seriously they will work out this to my satisfaction baed on the horrible reviews I have read. Add 1 more to the lost constomer list. Chapter 11 for Newegg may be in your future. 2 stars for now, but I'll be back when I get a responce from CS

use with caution, Sent a cheaper model then the one I ordered (bait and switch) currently expecting a refund of the difference haha yeah right

I've been buying things from Newegg since 2006 without any major complaints, but within the past couple years their shipping times have became horrendous. I'm writing this the day after Christmas (which is understandable for there to be shipping delays and is exempt from my criticism).

I decided to enroll in the Newegg Premier program thinking that would solve my issues - but even with rush processing and overnight shipping (you have to pay for anything but their cheap-o option even with Premier) I'm getting things slower than the free shipping options (not Prime) from Amazon. It's kind of embarrassing.

After my Premier program runs out I'm not going to renew and I'll stick to Amazon. Shame really, they used to be the best place for PC parts and now I cry when the part I need/want on PCPartPicker is only available on Newegg.

I will say that their customer support is fantastic however. I've had to contact them for a part that got lost/stolen in the mail and a couple times for price matching parts and every time things were solved flawlessly, so A+ for that.

Tip for consumers:
You very may well die of old age before things get to you.

Probably well over $20K in various PC parts and related tech since 2006.

Had ordered from then in the past with good results. This time -- a nightmare. Was not informed order would come from 3rd party seller. Confusing communication from both seller and Newegg. This was so bad, I think the seller is a scam company. Luckily, I got my money back because the item never showed up, even though website said it was delivered (see what I mean?)

Tip for consumers:
I'm not using them anymore. Newegg kept saying communicate with seller on their web page and would send me a link, but it would say "Seller cannot be found."

Products used:
It was supposed to be a Whirpool Every Drop water filter for fridge, but it never was delivered. Only got a postcard say shipping was delayed

Refurbished cell phonesand other electronics for sky highprices. Has return policies, still having used up items that won't last for almost 3/4 of original price is not worth it.

I purchased a couple of items from NewEgg and specifically from one of their seller Fastmedia. They sent the item to the wrong address twice. By this time 3 weeks had gone by and I not longer wanted the items and requested to cancel. A week later they stilled shipped out the item. I returned the items per their request to return to sender. After 2 months they had still not refunded me. Claimed they never got their packages back.
I was very disappointed that NewEgg didn't step up to help me deal with this seller. I felt NewEgg was thaking their side. Finally after 3 months FedEx verified that the items were in fact returned and i finally got a refund. I am just really surprized that NewEgg failed to take care of the issue and will probally do nothing to punish the seller for incompetence. It's too bad, I used to like NewEgg, but will never buy or recommend them in the future.

I have dealt with Newegg a number of times and have been satisfied with their service. During the COVID-19 virus I ordered
A hard drive and a webcam for my computer. I got the hard drive in a reasonable time frame, but the webcam I did not get. After
Looking on the Newegg website, for my orders tracking, the only information I could get, was that a tracking label was created
And the item was in transit. So I contacted to company by phone and was told that the order is coming from over seas and that it
Could take up to 15 days. She told me that she would contact the company and get me an update to where my item is. I didn't get
The update, and after another week called them back, for an update on where my item was. I was then told that they didn't
Get a response from my last claim, and that the only thing they could do was to refund my money, which I would have to wait for,
Since they had to put in a claim. So in conclusion, I didn't get my product, and I have to wait for my refund. I am not happy
With the way they handed this problem. I will not be doing business with them anymore. If I had known up front that the
Product was coming from over seas and that it would take more then a couple of weeks to get, I wouldn't have ordered it
In the first place.

So sunday i ordered parts to build a new computer i went with newegg because they had next day shipping placed the order got conformation it would arrive tuesday my order shows up missing the motherboard and video card those are arriving saturday i called customer service up and asked why their website didnt let you know that not all items would be sent next day i paid for it to be next day if i would have known that i would have went amazon and gotten it wednesday at this rate i will have to go buy them local today just so i can get back up and running ande customer service was totally useless

First, the good. Newegg has delivered computer parts to my son and that worked. I ordered a cabinet/tool storage on the premise that they were a consumer friendly site. Couldn't be further from the truth. The cabinet arrived banged up. And a consumer could only find it useful under very rarified circumstances. I vigorously pursued returned it but any access to the company, email, chat, etc. turns into a circle. There is no access to help with a return. The company has it rigged so that you can return an item via UPS but you will receive almost no refund after doing a lot of work! They did generate pre-formulated responses repeating the same information.

If you can order from Amazon, do that instead. They offer customer service!

Then sent weeks making my life miserable, in hopes I would keep the defective computer. They said to send it back and I did. Then they refused the return and sent it back to me. There is no way to talk to anyone on the phoneo and if you should be so lucky, their hands are tired and they can do nothing.

Have bought from the company numerous times. They offer deals from time to time but you have to be careful and check elsewhere. They were much better with deals that couldn't be matched in the past. Not so much any more. There is far more competition in there area online now. Where they particularly stumble is with their customer service. Where I did have a problem either with a product, shipment, return or whatever they were always quick to make you do the heavy lifting in getting a problem rectified. You needed to push then too often to get your problem resolved. They are not a golden rule type of customer service orientation. I do less business with them now then I used to. They do however have a wide variety of products available and is a good place to research a product

I had an issue with a damaged packaged, which really was not properly padded inside, and I had to schedule a call back for 32 minutes later just to report the issue. When someone did finally call me back they told me they would send a replacement. The price has gone up on the item so now they want me to send the damaged memory back to them at my cost for a refund. So of course to finally get my memory I would have to re-purchase at the higher price. This is really bad business. With a retailer like Amazon for instance, this process would have taken 5 minutes and a return shipping label would have been provided at no cost to me. I used to use Newegg.com exclusively for new computer builds but will no longer.

Newegg Customer service used to be the best in the industry. Most recent purchase was a disaster. Newegg recalled the package, as I'm home waiting for it to arrive (taking time off of work). Reps gave me the run around on the reason. As much as I hate buying from them, Amazon is the way to go on price/customer service.

Im a first time pc builder and found out that my graphics card (rx6700xt) is the cheapest on newweg. It was 350$ which is pretty good for a graphics card of that quality. I placed this order 5 days ago. The website said it would be delivered yesterday (july 2 2023) then BAM 2 day delay. I thought that was the worst it could get then saw THE PACKAGE HASNT EVEN BEEN PICKED UP BY UPS YET? Today there was ANOTHER DELAY. And thats not even the worst part. I wanted to refund my order AND IT WOULDNT LET ME. I couldve most likely gotten it quicker from amazon even ordering it today. For shipping one item and paying newweg 350$ for a gpu, I am very disappointed. I will most likely never use newweg again for future orders.

2,3 years ago, Newegg was my go to for anything tech & computer. Now it's another Crutchfield, use the site to shop and buy the products elsewhere. The final straw for me was the "eggsaver" shipping that now takes way too long. Shipping should NEVER take more than a week, even if it's free.

I purchased an Alhua DHR from NewEgg via eBay. I needed some technical assistance and called Alhua. They told me that NewEgg was not an authorized distributor and they couldn't even recognize the serial number of the unit. NOWHERE IN THE EBAY LISTING WAS THIS DISCLOSED. Accordingly, Alhua is not required to support the unit nor give a manufacturer's warranty.

Newegg has some special deals that are great. But if you have a problem of ANY kind be prepared for a never ending nightmare. It seems like they are set up to sell at low margins, and customer service is an afterthought.
If you are OK with the gamble go for it, but say your prayers.

I purchased a digital water cooling pressure tester that I received defective. I sent it back, took 6 days and now I am told I have to wait an additional 3 to 7 business days for a replacement. No Thanks. I ordered the same tester from Amazon two day and for less than Newegg.

Buy from Amazon not Newegg.

I was surprised to discover three items of which I had just purchased from a local computer retailer, including a blu ray writer, hard disk drive and media, were all over 30% dearer than the no discount price I just paid, no shipping costs or delays, just bought over the counter. Looks a bit greedy to me, I was thinking online buying was cheaper, maybe just not here from Newegg.
