What is NetworkISA? I'm glad you asked. NetworkISA is a website that allows writers with no connections to the industry to 'try' and throw their hat into a ring with five hundred thousand other people who also wear hats, in an event that seems to only judge people based on their umbrellas...

As with various other websites, they are kind enough to allow you to pay $35 to $95 to enter most contests and from that point on, it's really just a roll of the dice. Think 'Vegas but with your eyes closed and far more competition'.

I won't lie, I've placed in a few competitions but when the main writers are chosen, I'm always left feeling that regardless of how great or polished my racecar is, I'm constantly losing to a can of pea soup...

All of the gibberish above said... I'd say if you have a love for writing and creating things, it's not a bad place to try your luck. Just don't get your hopes up too much or before you know it, you'll find your entire life in shambles as writer's block ruins what's left, while the aforementioned pea soup steals your car and brings it back with an empty tank.
