I purchased an email domain, and I was new to the whole thing and the customer service walked me thorough everything to get set up. Appreciate their help.
I was a loyal Namecheap customer for 5 years, until I needed help from customer service. Namecheap refuses to help me despite a glitch on their side, they keep charging me. They refuse to give me a refund despite my numerous emails and messages to them several months prior requesting cancellation. I have two domains, I changed my company name, canceled the first domain service (did not want autopay), yet they keep charging me and refuse to refund me and now want to CHARGE ME ADDITIONAL FEES! I have been battling with them for months. They won't help the customer to save their name, they don't want to create fans of us, instead they're harassing me and keep fighting with me, and now they're threatening me with additional charges! Namecheap is the WORST, so greedy! DO NOT go with them, you will be sorry later.
I needed a homepage for a new project before the opportunity would be gone and chose Namecheap. The process was easy to follow and transparent and the services I needed worked in no time. Great job!
It's kinda of tricky figuring out the website and how to make certain aspects of the website design work. For example getting the Google Map to function on your Contact Page, but once you play around with the web builder for awhile you'll figure it out.

The chat and email were not good—the chat did not follow my questions and while email was much better they could not get on the phone w me for even a minute.
I have a few small websites hosted with NameCheap that are all very new. I received an email today informing me that my hosting account was suspended. I received no prior warnings and was given no chance to resolve the issue. Now my websites are down and I have no way to access them. I am still unsure what even caused my hosting to be suspended. I've been waiting to hear back from NameCheap's customer support for two hours. I have used several hosting providers and have never had an experience like this. I am extremely disappointed with NameCheap and do not recommend their hosting to anyone.
Good night get my site that I built with them to display. It kept showing a security error despite being on the phone with them for over 2 1/2 hours and spending hours with my developer. I had to cancel the site but kept the domain quite a disappointment.
While NameCheap is low cost, you pay for that with poor customer service. Everything is chat and the chat person is taking 4 more sessions at the same time. They are not paying attention to you, you can tell this by the long gaps to respond to your replies and questions. I like to have the full focus of the chat person and not have them get mixed up. In my experience, the support people are not inclined to match the support that the customer needs.
I also learned that Cheap means "you get it our way or no way". I wanted to pay for a block of extra domain services at the time of renewal but they refused and pedantically required me to pay for separately for the same domain. I only used them one year and moved on.
Something is not letting me transfer and register my domain name with Wix. There doesn't seem to be any real customer service.
It is a good service, I will continue to use it to see what new features it brings in the future.
This is the first time I used namecheap. It was really very easy to buy. Very user friendly.
Fast and easy to search available domain, and cheaper than other platform. Setting a little bit challenge to me but easy find instruction to follow. Domain update around 24 hrs that is faster than my expection.
