Birthday Necklace

I purchased my necklace before they changed their URL from mynamenecklace.com to myka.com. This was also before they had changed their return policy which states that after 2 hours you will be charged a 30% restocking fee. I ordered a necklace on a Sunday at 8:21am (CST in the U.S.) for my wife with my kids' names on it just to realize that the shipping date on the necklace wasnt going to be on time for her birthday. I had fwd the email to my daughter but then she had pointed out to me that the shipping date was after my wifes birthday. After being made aware of this I canceled my order the exact same day Sunday at 6:37pm (CST in the U.S.). This place is located in Tel Aviv Israel and they are 8 hours ahead of CST time zone. When I placed my order is was 4:21pm on a Sunday. When I canceled my order it was 2:37am Monday morning. I am aware that Sunday is a working day in Isreal but I find it hard to believe that anyone even did anything with my order from the time it was placed until it was canceled. My order probably wasn't even looked at before I canceled it. Either way mynamenecklace AKA myka still charged me $100 for my cancelation. Trust me when I say this isn't the caring compassionate company that they portray themselves as. I get the aspect that they are a business and if they didn't make money they'd be out of business but they could care less about anyone as a customer and are too greedy to see past their nose. If mynamenecklace see's my review i do not want my $100 back as his isn't about the $100. I want everyone to know what kind of business you are running and to make those that are considering purchasing from you to potentially re-evaluate who they are spending their hard earned money with.

Terrible communication, 2 months and still no product!

I ordered a necklace from them over 2 months ago, they claim to handmake every item tailored to your needs. I asked for a lowercase letter at the beginning of the necklace and was told this wouldnt be an issue. I then received notice that it was being shipped, fast forward 2 weeks from then and I didnt receive a product. When I emailed them they told me they were sorry for the delay and offered me a free item. Fast forward 2 weeks from that, still no product or free item. I emailed them again and was told the product did not meet their quality standards and was held back, then I emailed again a week later and was told the product hasnt even been made nevertheless even shipped because it was held up in production. The issue was that my lowercased beginning letter was a "special order" and has been held up in production. If every necklace is custom made and all I requested was a lowercased letter what is the issue!?! Customer service keeps giving the run around, there is no one to talk to on the phone and I keep having to email a new customer service rep. This company is ridiculous. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN OR RECCOMEND THEM TO ANYONE EVER!

Absolute scam, legal action will ensue unless resolved properly!

I ordered a 3d rose gold bar necklace with a diamond on the 25th March, I received the order late April beginning of May. This was a gift for my mum for her Birthday which is August so she only started wearing the jewellery in August and immediately within the first day of wearing the necklace the bar and chain tarnished and stained her top, she tried to gently clean the bar of no avail as it stained every thing she wore, she brought it to a jeweller's to get a new chain for it thinking maybe the chain was the issue but again the bar itself kept staining, she has stopped wearing it and it just hangs on her jewellery stand, we are both extremely disappointed. I did not recieve the quality I payed for (€109) not including shipping and packaging fees. I contact customer service a week ago as I finally had enough, the person i spoke with first explained than there was nothing he could do because I was out of my 6 month warranty I was absolute bewildered and told him I payed €109 for this and i swore the warranty was longer for jewellery with a genuine diamond. After a while he replied back to me and apologized saying he messed me around that it actually was a 1 year warranty and that he could help by a free reorder but I had to return the item first, I told him I did not want to re order the jewellery that could be bad quality again and that I would like a full refund. He explained I could not get a full refund until I returned the jewellery which I had to pay shipping for. I told him that the necklace was a gift and I dont want to take it back from my mum now as it is still sentimental but definitely not worth the money I paid. He said that was not possible as it had a diamond in the jewellery but I said it is bad quality and not made correctly.
I asked about a partial refund then if I didnt return the jewellery he said he would talk to the higher managers and let me know their decision it took him days to get back only to say their answer was no and that all they could offer was a reorder or a 15% refund which is not nearly enough compensation.
I was thrown from one agent to another always having to re explain myself and re take photos to send which was so frustrating until eventually they agreed to give me my 15% refund, a few days later I get a notification that I will be refunded €12... which is not 15% of €109. Frankly I am so frustrated of being messed around and not being valued as a customer. They frankly did not care or respect me and think of my problems genuinely. I want my full money back and I will be ensuring legal action because I am so fed up at this point. The fact that they only offered a 15% which they didnt even do shows how cheap skate they are. They took my money wrongfully and I want it back. At least 85 if not 95% of my money back.

I have an issue with my refund,
I was told I would receive a 15% refund which is in my opinion is not a lot to cover the cost of the damage and bad quality of the product I received from this company.
This issue is that I recieved a notification that I will soon be refunded €12 which is not a 15% refund.
I paid €109 for the necklace which a 15% refund would be €16.35.
I am fed up with this issue not being taken seriously and how long it's been taken to resolve this issue even though I've been in contact for a week if not longer.
I feel I'm not being valued as a customer and my issue aren't being dealt with properly.
Please help me to understand why I'm being messed around like this after receiving faulty jewerelly. Surely adequate compensation for this is covered under my warranty especially since I paid €109 for the necklace plus shipping fees and gift wrapping fees. I did not recieve that level of value as I paid.

The necklace is cheap, cheesy, not sterling silver its a SCAM!

So disappointing to be scammed. They should change the company name to MyCheapandCheesyLookingNecklace. It looks nothing like the necklace advertised on the web site. I feel scammed and cheated. Don't take the chance - the product is not what they so dishonestly promise

Scam website, awful, dont shop here

This has got me rarked up, my ordered 12/12/17 delivery date 22/1/18 still not received, this site is a joke and should be removed, they dont respond to emails got 1 after a month of waiting a reply to confirm address etc have replied 3 times to confirm i guessing i have been scammed like everyone else thank goodness i didnt spend hundreds of dollars, but still they got money from me. Wasnt till i started leaving comments for someone to check email messages as well as fbk messages i got a reply as they are investigating my order Whatever! This site should be removed however will never deal with again and will continue to post messages on there fbk page. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCAM SITE SHAME ON YOU FOR RIPPING PEOPLE OFF. Just received email 4/2/18 very apologetic, they let me know order was sent 29/12/17 hello i already knew that.

One star is generous. Scam!

Ok so where to start. Bare with me. I first ordered from this company in the beginning of 2016. I ordered a two name infinity necklace. I didn't have any problems with my order or with the shipment. I was happy and so was the person who received the necklace. So I felt confident in placing a second order. BIG mistake. I placed an order in the summer of 2016. This time I ordered the gold name/Roman numerals bar necklace. I placed the order using my virtual visa debit as I have bad credit and can't get a credit card. So, woke up that morning of pay day placed the order and went back to sleep. Maybe 5 minutes later I receive a phone call, I answer and it's an automated message telling me I need to enter my credit card number and expiry and security code. I don't remember why, I was half asleep. Something like my card had been disabled and it said reenter the info to reactivate your card. I stupidly did it. Then a few minutes later I panicked and realised what I had done. I immediately called my bank and had the card cancelled and reissued a new one. When I got the new one in the mail I called to activate it and told them the story and they had told me that there were several over seas attempts to purchase plane tickets with my card. Thank God I caught on and cancelled it. So, I sent my name necklace an email saying hey your company or your website has been hacked and is unsecure. They emailed me back "assuring" me they had nothing to do with it and their checkout is 100% safe. Fast forward two months later I still had no necklace. I emailed probably 10 times. No one would answer me. I commented on their FB posts and let a dozen fb messages and no one would answer me. I found their Instagram account and messaged and NO ONE WOULD ANSWER ME. I had made several dozen attempts to contact this company. I went as far as researching the company to find out who the president was then did a google search to find THEIR email and only then did I recieve a, very rude might I add, response. Long story short I got my necklace months later. Nothing was wrong with it like others who have had issues thankfully. I love my necklace. Would I buy from them again absolutely not. I 100% believe they scammed me and stole my credit card info. Would I recommend this to anyone? Not even my worst enemy. This company is disgusting and sleazy and prey on people who are looking for a sentimental gift for themselves or loved ones.
