I am happy that I can research my family tree. However, I am rather disappointed with not being able to search Parish Records. Unless you can and I have not figured this out yet.

My heritage is truly a very helpful website for genealogical research and features a fairly large base of subscribers. The primary factors which keep it from receiving my ultimate accolade of 5 stars are: a) It does not include a merge feature for duplications, which then requires one to delete and recreate, an added, frustrating step. B) The secondary frustrating aspect is that Myheritage does not assign matches to a specific parent, which adds another laborious step to genealogical research. C) Thirdly, the AI assistant is too limited, and offers very little interactive responses. In my opinion, enabling these enhancements would. Do greatly to make Myheritage dna a 5-star operation. However, please keep up improving yourresources and expansion of your database.
I started doing genealogy long ago with "snail mail" and personal interviews! As time progressed and the internet became a go to resource, more information was available and searches became more profitable.
I joined more online services and was able to reach more people and share data! Then, DNA became available and I was quick to have my genetics added as a valuable tool to ascertain my family relationships. Thanks to the broad scope of My Heritage, valuable extended family relationships, including distant cousins became available to me. Now, I use only My Heritage's discoveries to obtain new family data!
The program is so large that I have difficulty navigating through all the material to find what may be valuable to me. I have far less time to devote to my family tree than I had anticipated. I tend to forget important steps in my discovery from one month to the next. I would like to be able to find more proof than opinions from others. Sometimes I get data from other people about one of my ancestors, but I end up accepting data about 25 more relatives of that person.
I have been a member for many years now, from 2017 and gone to two events with MH. One in Oslo and the other in Amsterdam. Excellent lectures. I have allways have had an excellent experience of My Heritage. When contact with support, allways very helpfull personel.
I sent off a DNA sample and was presented with one set of results then when I looked at this closer the analysis was on a separate set of conclusions. I am disappointed.
Ich bin mit Myheritage schon seit ca 15 Jahren verbunden. Meine kleine Familie ist bis zu 7 Generationen und 222 Mitglieder gewachsen. Und das dank Myheritage. Ich bin sehr froh darüber. Seit 1 Jahr genieße ich die volle Mitgliedschaft. Ich habe aber auch einwenig zu meckern. Einiges kann man nicht über die KI ändern oder besprechen, deswegen habe ich schon mehrmals versucht anzurufen, aber leider die Telefonnummer die in den E-Mail-Adresse angegeben ist, entweder ist sie falsch oder eksistiert sie nicht. Und ich würde so gerne einiges ( was ich in meinem Baum nicht ändern kann) am Telefon mit einem Menschen besprochen. Sonst ist die Myheritage Familie nur zum empfehlen.

Desde un principio les manifesté que no tengo Padre Biológico ni Madre Biológica, pero Uds. After entering data, you can't return to where you left off. Example: You just entered data from a lengthy list of matches of people and afterwards you are taken back to the first person on the list. You then must scroll from that person back down to where you were previously. The last person I was working on was on screens 21 of the list. The list could be several screens long.

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team (support@myheritage.com).

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to support@myheritage.com and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
