Signed up a day ago and needed to fax some important docs from West Oz to the USA cos we are stuck due to Covid travel restrictions over here. Got an email to say the first fax went thru with one issue and contacted support. Talked to Lia who went thru the transaction, verified the result and all docs have landed in the USA. Great service Lia!
Misleading advertising. You think you are buying service for one month but it is really a recurring charge. You don't get any contact from the company. If you don't review your credit card statement intensively every month you eventually spend over $100 to fax one document. Then when you call to cancel they keep badgering you to extend just until the end of the month and to try other services for recurring charges. You would be better off to hand carry your documents rather than deal with this shyster outfit.

Online and phone customer service is basically non-existent. Unable to cancel billing via phone or online. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I have wasted hours trying to cancel the online billing and have been unable to do so.

Read the reviews and DO NOT USE! This is a scam! I would give this a -100 review if possible. You cannot cancel during the trial period online, and you must call. But good luck with that. They give a a free trial but burred in there somewhere is the "duration" that it takes to send a page. We only sent out 16 pages and were charged $20. We were told that the fax took longer than 60 seconds that you would be charged. We tried to reach out using their chat, which is disabled on the site so you must call. After calling and being hung up on multiple times we were finally able to talk to someone. Even while the individual on the phone said the charge should only be around $6 somehow that turns into $20 in some round about way that does not make sense. Be warned, this is not a free trial and they WILL charge you significantly with their predatory practices.

I signed up for a FREE TRIAL today and test-send a couple of faxes to see how the quality is. The quality was only okay so I decided to go with another company. I tried to proceed to cancel my free trial. For some reason, under the billing tab, it says that I owe the company $0.65 and until I pay this amount, I cannot cancel my free trial. What? I signed up for "FREE TRIAL" just a couple of hours ago. Free means zero dollars. There is no way I am paying this company any money, even if $0.65 is a trivial amount. It's a matter of principles. If this company places a trap like this, who knows what other landmines they might be hiding. I am filing formal complaints through several other channels.

Your representative Rowena A. Offered me very good service when I contacted to cancel my account. She offered me an alternative plan without pressuring me. I simply do not require the service any longer and Rowena was understanding a quickly processed by request. The services has been very good for my needs however I no longer require fax services. I would rate them a negative 5 if I could. Do not use this company, you will regret it! Customer service is terrible, their fee's are outrageius! Evertime you call, you talk to someone in India that has the worst accent. They nickle and dime you for everything. They do everything possible to keep you hostage to their company. Charged $32 for a 2 page fax. 643 pages of nothing sent. Told I would receive refund, never received.

They claimed you can fax in any format. Two page fax from a camera sent 643 pages of nothing. Charged $20. I am a retired law enforcement officer on a fixed income $32 is as lot of money to try throw away.

This company is a scam, do not hand over your financial information. I cancelled 7 days before the end of the trial, yet I was charged for a full month regardless. They refused to issue a refund even though I requested one immediately. The require either a live chat (which fails to load 8 times our of 10) or a phone call to cancel, so there is no paper trail or acknowledgement of the cancellation request. User beware, this is a scam, they will keep charging you even if you try to cancel, stay well away from them.

They provided me with a number to receive faxes and it just didn't work. Plus I had a 3 days free trial but they took the money immediately.
RUN AWAY from it
My fax WAS 65 pages. Customer service did explain the charge was $10 for 65 pages that converted to 126 pages based on the time of each page's transmission. This was outlined in the pre-signup verbiage as I remember. My account only had 100 pages per month max. When I went over, they automatically charged me $10 despite the 3-day trail.
Still canceling based on other reviews though.
Usually very careful about signing up for services online. Let my guard down and this is what happens... Signed up for 3-day trial Tuesday 5 pm. Sent one 5pg fax 5:10 pm. Got a confirmation within minutes.
Then later around 7 pm received this email receipt that read:

In the meantime read the reviews and immediately canceled my account that same day. I was charged $10 at about the same time.
Customer service was quick and offered an $8 refund. Said I would receive a finance team email in 7-10 days. This company is either woefully antiquated (picture the movie Time Bandits with the acounting team rowing the building with adding machines) or shyster's all the way.

I started a free trial but the one outbound fax that I tried to send was never received by the recipient. I forgot to cancel until after they made the monthly charge. When I called to cancel they refused to refund the charge. I would definitely not recommend this company.
As an update to my review, the company did respond and refunded the monthly charge so I was ultimately happy with the resolution. It is still disappointing that their response was only because of a negative review but they did make it right in the end.
Customer for over 10 years. Product used to be good, but now is a SCAM. Contacted in January to terminate the service, but was still charged $175.96 May 5. They have disabled the web-portal ability to "Cancel my Account" you just get a pop-up to "Chat with a Representative" (which just endlessly takes you through robo-options until the call ends). Very frustrating. I'm now waiting 5-10 days for a "decision" from their accouting department to see if they'll refund my card. All after I proved that I spoke with "Jason Leblanc" *******@consensus.com back on January 6,2023 and provided all the info he requested...with no responses back.

SCAM! Same as other reviews, it's a complete scam! They will charge you for incomplete transmissions while repeatedly telling you by email and on the dashboard that the transmission is incomplete! There is no record of "partially received" so of course, you send it again and effectively you unknowingly run up the numbers so there will never be a free trial. It's a complete scam and they're racking up charges on your credit card. STAY AWAY!
Even, if sending a fax takes time with them, at least they still have some humanity in their heart to respond to your inquiry and not ignore what you are saying. They do respond to your email with a totally unrelated issue. Tried a few times to communicate with them, however you are on your own. There is no 2 way communication from this company.

The salesman told me when I signed up I would get 100 pages of sent faxes each month. NEVER told me about "duration". So it has nothing to do with the pages you buy, but how long it takes (and only they can figure that out) for those to be sent. They're happy to tell you that buried in the small print in the contract (and they all know right where it is when you challenge them) that, hey, you signed up for it. It's right there in the contract. Utter BS. The worst or the worst type of company. Stay away.
I had canceled my services before the trial ended and now there still trying to charge my account. Sent me an email saying for me to log In and to cancel. 1st of all I'm not going through the trouble of password for something that was supposed to been done but at same time they trying to lower prices so that I can stay subscribed

So today I was notified that my credit card was charged by Myfax for almost $50.00, which I didn't authorize. I called them and was informed that they will look in to it and will cancel my service. I didn't have their service and they will send it to escalation to see what can be done. There was no supervisor that I could speak to and they couldn't help at all. So they stole my money and can't do anything about it.

I tried for months to cancel this service, but was unable to due to a lack of log in credentials. They make it very difficult to cancel. Eventhough I emailed the billing email provided on the website, my email request for a cancellation was ignored. They say you must log into the website to cancel, but when I finally was able to log in and selected the "cancel my subscription" a pop up said I could not do so without first speaking to a representative. Scumbags!

I used MyFax to send several faxes on the day that I joined, and they all went through without any problems. My situation changed, and I no longer had a need to send faxes. I contacted MyFax via email, and they ended my trial subscription. While my credit card was charged, they immediately reversed the charge when I asked and followed-up personally to provide evidence that it was reversed. I know other reviewers said they had problems with this, but I did not, and I appreciate MyFax addressing the issue promptly.

We have a fax line for nearly 10 years with them. It was 10.00 a month, then they went to 12.00 a month and did notify us of that. Then they started running my card without my permission for 10.00 here and there. They claimed that they changed how they do business and now once you are so many pages they will charge you 10.00. They did not inform us we only found out once they started just charing our card without our permission. When we called they were rude and awful and lied and said it's in the terms and conditions and it most certainly is not! They are broke and trying to steal money. DO NOT USE THEM!
