Haven't received goods AT ALL, and they still have my money
October 3, 2016

For anyone looking to buy Lolita dresses, I suggest you stay clear of this company.
We ordered and paid for 2 custom-sized dresses from My Lolita Dress on 26-06-2016 - the total came to nearly $500 including shipping. When we didn't receive any information regarding my order after nearly month after payment, I then contacted the company for a tracking number and estimated time of delivery on 10-07-2016 (I understand that custom making dresses takes time but I have bought from Lolita companies before and received information within the month). I was then told that the order needed 2 months processing time before shipment. I then asked if it was possible that I would receive my order before the end of August, as the dresses were in fact a birthday present from my mother (the birthday was in July but I made the end of August the deadline). I was then told that there was a chance that the dresses would arrive before August 30 but that there was no guarantee. I said I understood and the last email regarding this deadline was sent on 14-07-2016. However, when I did not receive any information regarding the status of my order I then emailed the company again on 13-08-2016 and was told that both my dresses were still being tailored. I was given no estimated time as to when they'd be done or shipped out. I then queried again on 03-09-2016 after, again, receiving no information about the status of my order and it had been nearly 3 months since we made the payment. I was then told that "I understand your concern. Your payment's safe with us. I will check and get back to you on Monday [which would be 05-09-2016 - though, in all fairness, I don't know what the date would have been in China where the company is located]". I then received an email on 06-09-2016 that one of my dresses was ready and that the other was close to shipment and would be ready "within next week". I was then told to email them on 15-09-2016 if I had not received any information regarding the shipment of my order. When I did not receive any information I then emailed the company again on 20-09-2016 when I still had not received any information (I had been busy with Uni and such and hence hadn't got a chance to email them before then). I was then told that my second dress was taking "longer than estimated" and was still not ready, and I was asked if there was a deadline. I then reminded them that I gave them a deadline back in July and that I was now starting to doubt that I would ever get my order. In the same email I told them that if I did not receive confirmation of shipping date and tracking information within 48 hours (which would have been 27-09-2016 at this point) that we would be contacting our credit card company and filing a non-delivery of product for a full refund. On the same day I sent this email I was then offered to have my delivery split so that my first dress would be sent out and then the second dress would be sent out when it was ready (which they said would be the beginning of October) and that they would "burden the extra shipment fee". I accepted and on 26-09-2016 that my first dress had been shipped, that I would receive tracking information 2-3 days later (so 28/29-09-2016) and that my dress would arrive within 1 week. They also said that they would email me when the second dress was ready for shipment and that I would receive tracking info when it was available.
It is now 03-10-2016 (7 days later) and I have yet to receive tracking info or official confirmation of shipment for the first yet, let alone the actual package. Fed up, I emailed the company to inform them that we are now going to our credit card company to file for a non-receipt of goods and request for a full refund (however, due to how long it's been since the payment was made, we are unsure if will be able to get any money back). I then received any automatic email almost immediately after I sent it saying that they are away on holiday from September 30 (30-09-2016) to October 5 (05-10-2016) and that they would get back to me on October 6 (06-10-2016).
This is a clear case of stalling and because of this company we have now lost nearly $500 with nothing to show for it (and I never got my birthday present). So please steer clear of this company; don't let this happen to you.

Decent site for resell/replica but would suggest trying somewhere else first
June 24, 2016

TLDR; Be wary about potential shipping issues. The site mainly publishes biased good/high ratings reviews. Relatively good/responsive customer service.
---
For my first time, I took a risk here to order a blouse and a petticoat. The site offers affordable/decent pricing and doesn't look as sketchy as other sites. The order took a while to arrive, but I got a text from DHL about the delivery. During that time, I wasn't home and I ordered from multiple places, so I went to MLD to check the order status which told me it was still "processing". It turned out the item never arrived when I got back from school, but I had a gut feeling that the package came from MLD despite the order status. I didn't had time to contact the seller, Linda until a week later, and she told me the package was delivered. I checked the order status again and the same "processing" status remains. So that started the entire time consuming process of contacting DHL to open an investigation. I kept Linda updated on the progress and got a refund from her after having some discussion. Despite the fact that the fault lies with DHL, the entire ordeal could have been dealt with sooner if the seller updated the order process. However, Linda was very responsive during that time, so it wasn't an entirely bad experience despite the complications.

I decided to give this place another try, ordering a different blouse and petticoat that didn't take long to process. This time MLD kept up to date with the ordering process, but I received no tracking number or notification about the arrival (Paid for the same shipping service from the first order). Luckily someone was home to receive the package for me. I left a 5 stars review for the petticoat and an overall 3.5 stars review with some criticisms for the blouse. For the 3.5 stars review of the blouse, I mentioned that it was more sheer than I expected from the pictures and I had trouble buttoning and unbuttoning the blouse due to the tight fitting of the holes. I'm aware that the sleeves are very sheer, and there's a slight degree of sheerness for the body of the blouse. But when I tried it on, you can see my bra very clearly. Apparently the 5 stars review got published but not the 3.5 stars review, which is pretty biased. I feel that the things I pointed out are relevant for future buyers as there was no description or clear pictures of that anywhere. Don't get me wrong, the blouse is very adorable but not what I was expected.

Tip for consumers:

Seller is very responsive, so contact the seller on FB or by email about the processing time of the items you want before you order to confirm the item's availability and processing time. Also, make sure to keep in contact with the seller about your order status as they sometimes forget to update it and you might not receive your order.

Legit website/business
March 23, 2015

I took a risk on this website after a long time lolita friend said she hadn't known anyone to get screwed over by them.
I ordered 2 Classical Puppet petticoats (an A-line and a Bell), a wig, a pair of An-tai-na shoes, and a pair of bloomers, equaling about 176 and then quick shipping was 48 dollars. I received a very well put together confirmation email, but it didn't include an estimated ship date (the shoes were being custom made and they explained it would take a few weeks to make). After two weeks, I emailed the shop and they responded very quickly. I had several emails back and forth with the shop owner, Linda, and she was always very nice, prompt, and helpful, maybe a little unprofessional/informal in her emails if you're a stickler for that kind of thing, but never rude or insulting.
I placed my order FEB 21 and received everything March 23rd. My tracking number worked great and it arrived before the estimated date. All of it arrived in one big package, which was impressive, though it did make me worry about damages. Everything was individually packaged well inside and nothing had any problems due to shipping, not even the shoes or the wig.
Both petticoats had the CP tag and appear to be genuine. The packaging had them squashed, so prepare to give them time to hang up and fluff back up.
The wig was suppose to come with the bangs cut, but didn't. It needed thinned anyway, so I can have my own stylist trim the bangs so that was no big deal. It was a great quality wig, though I almost feel the ponytails don't quite match the actual 'wig', it having far more pink than blonde, unlike the ponytails that are half and half.
The shoes were custom made (I picked my own colors) and they're what to expect of that shoe brand. I like them, but they're not the greatest. Very nice for their price though.
Long story short, they're a reseller. Places make the stuff or they buy the stuff, and MLD provided a selling website. Some people claim this middle man makes it more expensive, and it might, but it was nice not having to deal with the seller directly, which can be difficult, and MLD also seems to have decent quality control, which is very nice in a reseller. I'm all for resellers, because it gives me, the buyer, a trustworthy and easy experience, and both parties get money.
Overall, I would buy from them again if I had a reason to, but I don't know the quality of their actual dresses since I only got 'accessories'.
