I purchased their product on an annual license. When I installed it in the device I wanted to monitor, I quickly found out that the WhatsApp messages can only be retrieved if you plug the phone via cable to a computer. This has also been confirmed by their support department. There is no information at all about this in their website. None. I asked for a full refund, and they won't give it to me. Pretty $#*!ty experience. They'll never have me as a customer again.

Bought the 3 month subscription 2 days ago. Did all the installation from my iphone device to another person's iPhone. Installed successfully via iCloud credentials. Made sure iCloud backup was on/enabled/updated. Softwares updated. Finally get my first update/sync and I only have half the services guaranteed. No app monitoring. No message monitoring. Photos/videos unable to be viewed even after download. Got a few emails. Can only read about a sentence for each note. Attached files unable to view. No sms viewing. No iMessage viewing. No Snapchat viewing no Facebook no what's app no nothing. I maybe got 3% of what was promised. I want my money back unless this can be fixed please thanks. I also cannot unlink device and reinstall the same device for some reason so I can't even just try it again. I'm really angry and upset. I just lost a lot of money that I needed but was willing to use it specifically for these next few days. Please help me

The claim of not having to root the phone is false. Only after you subscribe do they point to sections of a blog that explains that too monitor social media you must root.
I even received additional emails telling me to upgrade to a more expensive subscription to access the additional features.

I tried out the premium version, for all the features obviously. It's said that you don't need the target phone but you do in order to download files and shut off certain settings. And the target phone has to be rooted in order for you to see any app activity. Basically without the target phone being rooted, you're only getting phone logs and basic sms texts. And when you lose connection to the target phone it says that you need to text ******* to it to reactivate it which doesn't work. Not worth the money.

This company is misleading in how they sell their product. Installation is not easy as advertised. I couldn't use the product. I requested a refund but customer service is appalling so I'm still awaiting my case to be sorted.

I purchased a basic 1 month for 19.99 got two updates all month from the target phone to find out i have been charged an additional £53 for nothing contacted them i was told its non refundable offered me 50% back so for 1 month basic 2 updates it has cost me £43.99 complete rip off joke of a company avoid them at all costs

I just paid for a subscription with myspy for the first time and it is not of any use to me. It's also misleading which is why I decided to not use it. When I asked for a refund they would not give it to me after I explained that the service isn't doing what the website has advertised that it would do. They just froze my account and suggested other alternatives. I don't want any free additional months added, nor do I want to continue using myspy, I just want a refund because I won't be using it.

Tip for consumers:
It's not entirely discreet: the person will be getting a notification that someone has logged into their account.

Mspy is partially functional, I am not able to receive messages from social media app's, only text messages, call logs, key logger and gps location works, I contacted customer service several times, but they were not able to resolve the issue. Everytime I contacted them, they asked me to do some settings, but it didn't resolve, one of the customer care agent told me that everything is okay with settings and I should wait 24 hours to start receiving the messages, but it didn't. Finally I gave up, I even cancelled the auto renewal of subscription

Constant issues. A lot of inconsistencies. Customer service has stepped up recently though and at least answers the chat but is often unsuccessful in resolving things. Escalated several issues non have been resolved

At the beginning they were very attentive, I liked the service, but when I asked for the refund, it was that I disqualified myself with the company, it's been 14 days since I requested it and they just keep messing me up and they won't refund my money, so I'm quite unsatisfied.

Once I purchased I realized you need to access the target phone to install. I requested a refund. Nope, and can't cancel the subscription either. Who charges for a product you can't use? Money grabbers!

I purchased this product and it work fine for a week, after w week it's trying to update the information but data is one week old. Couldn't retrieve the new data from phone. Data that is updated has different dates like call logs is till 4/22 only, than whats App is till 4/25, web history is till 4/27, and I know there is activity going on everyday... and now you got to pay for customer service as well.

I decided after needing another company for our business to try mSpy. The seem friendly enough and are willing to say anything to sell you a package but then the costs and problems come flowing in. Unlike other companies, they charge a fee to help root the phone which only then allows you all the features you see in your plan. You'll notice on their sales website that the only comments under the plans are doesn't require rooting. Leaving all the other options blank giving the perception that once you pay for the premium service, you get all the features that others sites offer by rooting for free. NOPE! They want another $43.99 to help you root the target device which you must have in your possession again.
The problems... Tracking isn't accurate even waiting 45+ minutes for it to recognize where you have been. Call logs to not update as they should. Even though these updates are set for 5 minutes, here we are 45 minutes later and nothing. There are other reputable companies out there doing a better job and for less$.

Tip for consumers:
Don't look at all the green check boxes on items they make you think you get. You only get these if you pay an additional $49.99 to have them root the phone which is also not possible on all devices.

We regret to hear about your experience. MSpy Android version uses advanced algorithm of data collection however it always depends on quality of Internet connection on the target phone. Usually there is 20 minutes update interval however information may update longer if the phone is on 3G and signal is unstable. Rooting is a very sophisticated procedure that is different for each device and Android version, we have a separate department that can do the rooting remotely via Team Viewer connection. Other companies usually include such services to the total price without your knowledge but we give a choice and provide rooting instructions if you want to do that procedure on your own. Without rooting you can still use the following features:
Contact list, Calls logs, GPS, Photos&Videos, Texts, Website history&Bookmarks, Calendar&Notes, Installed Applications, Keylogger (all outgoing text information), Wi-Fi networks, Blocks for: Apps, Websites, Incoming Calls, Geo Fencing.

No jailbreaks can only be retrieved every 24 hours and often there are 12 hour service outages. I have belonged for four days and there have been 4. Three in a row which made it inaccessible for 36 hours. I do not know about other consumers but people who buys this I am assumming need information faster than that. It also doe not get deleted anything so looking at the target phone does the same ting once a day. Apparently there are many features I have yet to learn to access which is indeed due in part to my ignorance of the software but also largely it is due to a not very user friendly site. If I can learn how to make it more real time and easier I would stay but right now it was a waste of 53. Dollars

Please, be informed that usage of no-jailbreak solution means that you can download information from target iCloud. As you understand information in iCloud directly depends on backup of the device. IPhone usually backs up when connected to a Wi-Fi and power source, it is a restriction made by Apple. That is why without jailbreak you can only get information once in 24 hours after backup is done on the device. There is no other system that can do that faster using iCloud.

I got mSpy and I couldn't get it to work, so I called them up and they helped me but it only worked for a week, I tried to get it fixed again but it didn't work, when I asked to be refunded while they didn't say no right out the result was I didn't get my money back and I was out the year of money I gave them for less than a week of it actually working.

Turns out I needed to know whether my apple phone had jailbreak or not on it, and that effected what it could see and what it couldn't. Basically read all the fine print and know for sure whether it will work on your phone or not because once you pay the money you will never see it again.

Tip for consumers:
Read the fine print if you don't understand the words they are saying DON'T BUY IT, they have very specific rules for using their software and if you don't follow them then it won't work.

There are two ways to monitor iPhone: 1) Using jailbreak, 2) Using Apple ID and password.
In case 1) you need to have the phone in your hands and its iOS should be compatible with jailbreak (it has more features to monitor),
In case 2) you need to have Apple ID+password and the phone has to be backed up to iCloud (it has less features but doesn't require physical installation on the device)
If all conditions are met you will be able to monitor the device without any problems!

I'm in, got all the credentials and everything set up, but when i click Update to update the info. It just says in progress. I've tried many time but never goes through and i have left it on for Many Hours.

You don't get all the messages. I know this 100% because first I can't see all parts of the conversation between the target and myself and second I have access to target's phone bill so I can see that the number of texts sent to particular numbers on the bill and on mspy log don't match. Really disappointed. Costume service are polite but they keep guaranteeing I receive whole logs which is not the case even after 24 hours. Lots of texts never appear on the log. In my case they are often the ones with important info.

Highly disappointed that they took off the call recording feature, without even one notification at that. That was one of the best features it had unfortunately I'm stuck with them for a few more months then after that upgrading to another software that offers call recording.

Purchased this software with high hopes but unfortunately there are lots of issues with it. First and most important issue is their log update for locations, text messages etc. No mater what the time interval you set, they do not update the logs sometimes for 24 hours or more. Customer service is NOT good. They know the problem so they give you runarounds. If you want a good tracking and timely updates of text messages, locations etc THIS IS NOT THE ONE you want.

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT purchase a full year, try a month or so before you decide.

Please be informed that the logs updating process highly depends on the combination of Internet availability and Update Intervals which are to be set in your account. For example, in case during couple update intervals there is no active Internet connection on your target device the logs would not be updated to your account. Which sounds reasonable since the main requirement is an Internet connection (the application doesn't activate it by default, it only scans the device for Wi-Fi or 3G/4G Internet). At the same time, there's nothing you should worry about because mSpy application will keep all fetched logs until it gets connected to our system. It means that none of fetched data will be lost! Please contact our Live Support in case you've had some other particular issues with the application.

We had the month to month subscription for the PC monitoring service. Everything worked ok for the most part and was capturing and updating as it should. Literally within 24 hours of extending the subscription for a year everything both the phone and pc monitoring stopped. We tried to uninstall and reinstall and it worked... for 1 hour and then everything stopped tracking once again. We have recently purchased new modem and router so we know our internet connection is secure and stable. Strongly disappointed and considering switching service to a different provider. Will request refund and if that isnt successful will simply dispute charges with my credit card company and file complaint with the BBB.

I have tried the app and I’m a bit disappointed. The updates for one take ages to come through if they do at all. I sent test messages on Whatsapp to the target phone and this didn’t show up for hours. When I contacted their customer support they gave me instructions with a “secret” text message to refresh the app on the phone. This “secret ” message is not supposed to be visible on the target phone. Mine were all visible…more than 8 messages with the code. After a while-8 hours the messages just disappeared from the target phone(so good for stealth). They say that the phone has to be connected to WiFi…I am sure that the target phone is connected to WiFi. I think it’s a rip off

I've always recommended MSPY 2 everyone I could. Sadly I can no longer do that bc since the update most features don't work. Happy customer for 3yrs until now. I tried every recommendation that support suggested to no avail. I wish I hadn't just spent $100 bc now I can't get it back or use the service. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! IF ITS NOT BROKE DONT FIX IT!!

Premium package. It was awesome until the update. Now most features are broken everyday so it's no point in using it. I've reset the device & uninstalled & reinstalled so many times it never helps. Very bummed out I loved it the past 3 yrs. Looking for a replacement since this is useless to me now. Wish they had left it like it was! Hopefully in the future things will work like they used 2.
