“Amazing customer service”

I ordered a book at there were problems with the binding/wrinkled pages. Customer service was AMAZING. They sent me a new book the very next day (that arrived in less than 48 hours of my complaint) and it is perfect. This is a great guestbook option for those not wanting to spend hundreds.

“Horrible product, horrible customer service”

Ordered hundreds of dollars in wall pictures. Unhappy with product. MPix on website advertises 100% customer satisfaction but it's at your additional cost. Company will not speak over phone only chat or email. I used this company in 2019 and was totally satisfied with the product. Today I would rate it a "0" with total dissatisfaction!

My review is based just on the product I ordered. Not on the company. They were wonderful, receptive customer service is amazing. With that said, I ordered a piece called a stand out. It's quite expensive but the quality is poor. The board bows and does not sit flush against the wall. And the picture started peeling from the board within a couple of days. Definitely not worth the money and really disappointed.

I ordered over 200 pictures for my son's graduation from Mpix, based on a photographer's' recommendation. However, the quality of the wallets I received was very disappointing. Their photo paper is super thin, even thinner than a regular photo you would get at any other retailer for photos. It is wobbly in your hand when you move it! I am embarrassed to hand these out, honestly, but due to the timeline of our events, I am stuck with them. They are nothing like other senior pictures I received from friends. The website showed them stacked thick, and I feel it was not accurately represented. Also, the printing on them is quite small and very hard to even notice, and I made it as big & bold as it allowed. I am disappointed I decided to try a new company for such an important event to us, and assumed paying more than competitors would generally warrant higher quality.

I recently sent some two separate photo orders to Mpix. The order process was easy enough and all arrived just fine. The problem is the photos are completely unusable. The file I sent they stated showed some reflected light on part of the photos. My problem is, they printed the photos knowing they would not look good. If the file I sent was not appropriate for printing, they should have notified me so I could have done something. Instead, they made terrible unusable prints, charged my credit card and shipped the rotten reprints to me. I will never use this company again as they have NO QUALITY CONTROL. They should look at the pictures they are making.

I paid for expedited shipping and received about 25 of someone else's prints, and I was missing about 25 as well. They offered to pay for the missing prints but I needed all prints, and couldnt wait for a reprint from them either. I would have rathered them take their time by another day and give me the correct prints. All in all a waste of time as I needed all the prints.

Designed a photobook on mpix. Added it to the cart and purchased it. Almost immediately I realized I forgot something and sent them an email. My response was "Sorry we cannot make any changes" Really, I don't think so. I'll go elsewhere now.

I have purchased great photos that I am very happy with from this firm but the ordering experience on the website is really poor. When you have a problem they ask which device, browser, version etc that you are using but trust me - it does not matter. I have used many combinations with the same lousy results.

I tried to order several 8x12 metallic prints but duplicates appeared in my order that I was unable to remove. I checked the "Remove Item" box and nothing happened. Tried to change the quantity to zero and ended up with 10!... that I was then unable to change. Perhaps there was another way to do this but I never found it. Just left my cart full and I'm not going back... too much trouble. Its a shame too, because their photos are really good. Some other firm out there will have both - great quality prints and a good website. I am looking for them now.

I ordered a 24x36 print which was expensive. Upon receiving it, the picture quality was poor and very grainy. When I contacted customer service, they offered a refund but the return shipping would be at my expense. I have already spent a large amount of money for a bad print and it will cost me more to prove it by shipping it back on my dime. Poor job treating long time customers.

Shipping is RIDICULOUS! Will use someone else. They really should just call themselves a shipping company vs. a printing company. They'd be much more competitive if they'd offer shipping incentives, WAY better discounts, etc. Shipping is half or more than items you're ordering.

Mpix only stores your photos for about 8 weeks before they delete them. They send you one message warning of this and if nothing is ordered then all photos are gone. After having spent many hours uploading photos in anticipation of making a photo book (and not seeing warning as it looked like the other advertising messages they send), I found this quite maddening. It is also very difficult to change the order of the photos in the 'albums' and they don't offer many options for styles of their photos books: mostly fabric covered with paper covers (that are easily damaged). Not a fan. Going back to Snapfish.

First off I work abroad so shipping to my house here was not the best idea so I shipped to a domestic address then had it forwarded later. I ordered a photobook. 2 actually. The first was in matte finish and my mother liked it so much she kept it and I ordered another which unintentionally was in gloss. Ok my bad no worries. I just got the book. Was in no hurry to receive it but I wish I had now that Ive had a chance to check it out. Now I am a photographer and have printed many times through Mpix and other places but this quality on this book was garbage. Pixilation on small photos. How is that possible. Big photos look like they were painted in acrylic paint. First page in the "lay flat" book was already separating from the binding. That i could live with as it is a family album, but the horrid print quality on my images is impressive. Now before you say its the camera there are 3 different camera files that comprised this book, one of which was a camera phone just because I loved the photo (note 4 so non issue). You cant tell the difference from the camera phone quality to the professional canon dslr and my gorgeous fujifilm mirrorless.
Needless to say, if you are a pro or a serious photographer i cant recommend this service for a paid gig. Something that you can risk hitting or missing on sure cause the price is good. But if you really need it done right with no risk then I would strongly caution. Fortunately there is still time as this is a christmas present. Just annoyed I need to redo the layouts on a different site.

I ordered 20 prints to "test" the quality before sending the other 100+ to them. Half have yellow tinge to them. I checked my originals - no yellow tint. I tried to discuss this with customer service, but the rep who responded to my email acted like he didn't have a clue. I do not recommend this service. There is no phone number and the company doesn't even put their name on their mailer or packing slip. Because of this, I suspect mpix just takes the order and has some type of clearinghouse actually print the orders and mail them out. I doubt mpix has their own lab. This is why the quality and review vary so much.

They have a horrible film development policy and they're way over priced. Just support your local photo shop, this place has no clue what they're doing and it's a total rip off.
