I hired Mold Law Group and paid nearly $10,000 for assistance with a mold exposure claim. Over more than a year and a half, they referred me to four different attorneys, all of whom declined my case because the materials provided were not sufficient to pursue a claim.

I have repeatedly reached out to the firm for a refund since their attorneys dropped my case, and for documentation I requested, but they have failed to provide these and have been unwilling to refund my payment at this time.

In my experience, the services I paid for did not deliver the results promised, and the issue will be pursued through formal complaints. I would caution others to carefully consider this before hiring them.

Just writing this review to warn others about Mold Law Group,their very good at building you up and creating a case.However don't believe everything they say you have little to no chance of an attorney picking up your mold case because they are very complicated and hard to prove. Mold Law Group will take your money and leave you with a pile of paperwork. Years after their services if you can even consider what they do services we have yet to find anyone to pick our case and have spent close to $8,000 with Mold Law Group if you can just save your money and avoid the talk they like to talk. In my opinion they stole our money in a shisty slick way,not stand up people whatsoever. You have been warned.

I just wanted to write this review so I never have to see another person go through what I did! The Mold role group are very good cheerleaders making you believe you have the best case in the world! Encouraging you to pay forward and making you feel confident in doing so. Telling you you'll get all the money back in the end I lost thousands and thousands of dollars just to find out I couldn't sue anyway, which should've been told in the very beginning when they reviewed my lease. I would never go this way ever. Mold is very difficult to prove so rather than wasting the money you would on this group save the money and just move Forward! It's not worth it in the end! Oh is just one of the bills that I paid to show that I actually had a business relationship with Mold

Like every one else here I'm going through the same thing they talk a good game they tell you this is how much you will pay and includes everything I asked how much they told me phase one was $3250 so I asked do I need to pay extra for an attorney he told me know that it was going to cost me between $7000 to $8000 for everything and told me that at the end of all of this they would put this money as part of the compensation this is a shame I called them because my grandkids go very sick and their mother has been telling the landlord about suspected mold in the house and he's not doing anything about so I was trying to help them out because she was desperate no were to turn called a lot of attorneys nobody would take the case so when I called the mold law group the way he was talking to me telling you came to the right place we will get her the compensation she deserves never once he told me that there's no attorneys at this company I told him I live in florida he said no worries we have attorneys in all 50 states so I assumed it was a law firm and he came across like a lawyer I just want my money back $3250 now they are telling me no refunds does it cost that much for a mold test don't hire these people

Do not waste your time they are a rip off agency they don't care what happens to you and they charge you $5,000 for this luxury

Place is a total scam! They don't even have lawyers on staff. Ethan "helped" us and pretended to be an actual law office. Total trash people and make promises they can't keep. Just call a real law office. They don't charge money for these matters.

They are not a law firm. This company is a scam. I paid money upfront for a testing kit. The testing kit will not and cannot be held up in court. They send you a basic over the counter mold testing kit that can be purchased anywhere. Then you have to send it to a lab for analysis and pay for it. None of this holds up in court because you are the one conducting the test and you have no proof it was done legally. A true mold inspection test is done by an air quality test performed by an environmentalist whose approved by your local state. They test the microtoxins in the air for air quality and match it against the air quality outside your home. Secondly you have to pay get a microtoxin test done on your phyiscal body which will cost about $700. Your medical insurance doesnt cover it and your dr will be clueless about it. We signed up and I cancelled 30 mins after I paid and the guy lied and said sorry its already done.state of ca gives u 3 days to cancel. We were desperate for help most lawyers dont take mold cases. This is not a lawfirm! We eventually filed fraud and got our money back. $150

This Mold Law Group is a huge scam. They are praying on poor people who are vulnerable and at there lowest time in there life. This group is out to make nothing but big bucks. They started out telling me $599.00 to start by a urine test. Than once they get your money you can't even get them to call you back for any thing even any of there leads don't call you back. Than they tell you you kid was poisoned when another test didn't show that. Just Run I should have listened to all the poor reviews.

Mold Law was a lifesaver for my family. We lived with black mold in our apartment for months, and our landlord refused to do anything about it. The city and the health department didn't help either. Mold Law was the only one who listened to us and took our case seriously.

They worked with us to build a strong case against our landlord, and they found us a local attorney to represent us. There were a few transitions along the way, but Mold Law always kept us informed and reassured us that they were taking care of us.

In the end, we settled our case for just under $100,000. This money allowed us to move to a new home and get the medical care we needed. We are so grateful to Mold Law for helping us get our lives back on track.

I am so grateful for the help and support of the Mold Law Group. After I discovered mold in my home, I was feeling very overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. I went online and came across their website. When I called them they got me over to a consultant who was very knowledgeable and told me what I would need to pursue this type of case. Hearing the cost was a little bit of sticker shock but after working with them it was totally worth it. They knew what they were doing. Made sure I got all the evidence I needed and had experts to explain everything to me in a way that even I could understand which was really helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is struggling with a mold issue. These people can help you

They had me sign an assignment of benefits and said that they would work with my renters insurance to start a claim. They did not and wasted two weeks when I needed an inspection and air quality tests. I called my insurance company after the mold law group started ignoring me and discovered they never filed a claim. Thank goodness I didn't agree to pay three the 3k they wanted up front. I wish I would have seen this report first. Do not give them your money or your time. They are con artists looking to exploit people when they are experiencing one of the most incredibly difficult situations in their lives where there is already so little help.

I made the mistake of ignoring all the bad reviews posted for Mold Law Group. So, I ended up wasting $8,000 which I paid to Mold Law Group for absolutely useless mold testing and law suit organization. These people are not lawyers! They are deceivers and scammers. They will claim to help you even though they know your potential law suit for mold is useless from Day One. Mold Law Group knew I had a mold problem with a rental unit in California in 2016. Mold Law Group did not bother to tell me that the opportunity to file a suit for damages in California ended in 2018. (The 2-year Statute of Limitations.)
They also told me I could collect damages for physical health issues which we felt were caused by the mold problems. California state law no longer allows tenants to sue for physical health issues caused by mold contamination. Mold Law Group knows all this, as California attorneys have BEGGED them to stop misleading California tenants. Yet Mold Law Group keeps taking money, large sums of money, for doomed cases. These people at Mold Law Group are friendly, but they are not your friends.
Save your money and avoid these scammers! Quick, go talk to a real lawyer once you discover there are mold problems in your rental. A real attorney can tell you what your options are. Don't allow Mold Law Group to spend your hard-earned money for useless documentation.

I have been working with mold law group for the past couple of months now and I am constantly impressed with each staff member and the services I've received. Because of the testing and their staffs help I was able to retain an attorney for my case. Everyone there has been extremely helpful with my situation and has been able to answer all of the questions I had for months before finding them.
I wish more people who are in similar situations as myself would reach out and work with them. You can truly feel how much they care about their clients.

My experience was the same as the other reviews. My mold test for the house was incomplete with out outside reading. * contacted me asking about phase 2 and when we wanted to proceed. I explained the mold test on the house was considered incomplete by law. They said they would send some one back out to complete the test. Haven't heard anything about the test. Yet they have called and sent emails about doing the medical tests, that my insurance will pay for on a lower level. Witch is being offered to me for 599.00 instead of 1900 per person. SCAM SCAM

Please, beware of this company. I have lost several hundreds of dollars to them. They lie constantly - one lie after another. I only kept hanging in there with them because I was in such a desperate place. However, in the end, they are 100% scam artists and they care absolutely nothing about you or your family.

I paid over 3,500.00. They encourage you to spend a lot of money testing home, lab test, stating you have a good case. Which our home was terrible. After they where paid for test to be done nothing further happened. They promised to get the case resolved. Didn't here any more from them. Lost a lot of money. This company is a total SCAM!

I always always ALWAYS check reviews – – except this time. I was scammed exactly the same way as the other people here, and IMO it was even more messed up that they just kept lying to me and manipulating me, because as I told them, I am *very* ill — too ill to have to deal with mold in my autistic son's apartment in another state OR BEING SCAMMED OUT OF $2,000. I was extremely distraught, and *I don't know how they sleep at night taking advantage of anyone, let alone an ill mother like me.*

So it happened to me because I'm so ill that I misread how to interpret the original mold test that was done by a reputable company, and it looked like the mold levels were 10 times higher than the *minimum* unsafe level. If I hadn't done that then obviously none of this would have happened, but I didn't figure it out until the next day, which is when I started asking for a refund. Tonight I realized I was definitely getting the runaround from this woman who was supposedly "helping" me, so I went online to check reviews and found this site.

And they can get away with it because of the darn second part in the contract about the consulting fee being non-refundable. Obviously I would have signed it anyway even if I had read that, because I was so frantic, scared, worried, and TRUSTING, and she was SO nice and empathetic and reassuring, that it was an incredible relief that someone was going to be able to handle all of this for me.

UGH!

Edited two days later: I found a voicemail from a manager (?) who said he understands I'm having a problem doing the next phase of this process, and he'll be happy to help me if I call the number he gave me.

Then I found an email this morning from a totally different person, supposedly a case manager, to remind me that they still haven't received the pictures they need for the pack up and insurance claim, and to reach out if I need any help with that.

I know it won't get me anywhere, but I emailed her back repeating that I misinterpreted the results and **don't need their services, hence my cancellation**, and I want my refund.

I'm on the phone with the fraud dept of the bank right now to dispute the charges.
