Scam!
October 23, 2024

Extremely deceitful people they will EAT you alive to invest in their FAKE trading platform.
RUN AWAY! Your hard earned money will be wiped out in seconds and they want more!
The trading platform is controlled by modmount with so many irregularities unfortunately it was too late for me when I noticed the scam. They know your password and know how to alter the trades! They target beginners like me who knows nothing about Forex and install a very trusting place, they made you feel safe and will call you everyday to invest in Gold or currencies etc…. Promises of high returns and you see that in the first week but it is all a mirror a scam of high profit until they trafficked your account once the trust is built and made you believe that the margin level is low, you have to add more CASH!. As an investor your initial deposit is dropping first reaction will be to deposit and that's when they became SHARKS! Never ending cycle every 3,4 days margins are low and they keep asking for money. To tell you how elaborate their system is they will even make u believe that they are depositing cash to help but it is all FAKE!
After few days of trafficking your account they maintain the margin level as they wish to give you some HOPE and you start to see green again, later on they attack again and lower the margins and will call you to add more money to save the trade.
This is how they operate, don't fall victim for Modmount.
I was kicked out of my account when I decided to change my password ( I knew they were changing trades without my consent). I had no control over my account it just disappeared into thin air.
They kept calling pretending to be financial support for relief but at the end they wanted me to add more …
Kassim or whatever his name is was my account manager, he is a fraud.
They have alias or using fake names.
Don't think about withdrawing. IT IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPENED! Why? Because there never is any profit. What you are seeing is what they make you believe is happening BUT ITS ALL FAKE.
You start with 250$ and a week later they convinced you to do 5000$ for bigger profit
After that MARGIN LEVEL is played on you and they trick you to invest for another 5000$. And once you do they played the same Margin and they ask you to add another 5000$.
They will ask you to use your credit card and savings with high returns!
All that money once sent goes into their pocket.
The numbers you are seeing in your account are once again all FAKE!
They are the biggest fraud liars and thieves.
Please do your DUE DILIGENCE. They are quite convincing.
They target you through fake ads using famous people who invested with modmount and so many different tactics.
Positive reviews found online are also FAKE all made up from staff or Bots.
They don't even deserved 1 star! All my money wiped out in less than 3 weeks! With no way of withdrawing and locking me out when I changed my password!
I hope my report can save a lot of people from these SCAMMERS.

Funds drained to Zero in no time
October 2, 2024

I am writing to express my deep concern about the significant decline in my funds with Modmount. Despite the agent's promises of profitable trading with her 20 YEARS claimed of experience in Forex, I am now in a dire financial situation. They have consistently pressured me to make additional deposits in US dollars, which I can no longer afford. This has forced me into substantial credit card debt due to the investments I made based on their guidance.
From the very beginning, all trading activities were conducted under their instructions, as I am a complete novice in Forex trading. I never made any independent trades. The initial deposit required to open an account with them is USD 250. However, they later request additional funds to reach a total of USD 5,000. An agent named Jedidah N. Would call me daily to direct my trades, deciding whether to buy or sell. The total Swap fees (charges for using their platform) exceeded the small profits made, which ultimately disappeared. It has become clear to me that this was a deceptive scheme, designed to generate profit for their platform at the expense of my investments. They continued calling, asking for additional funds, claiming it was for risk management purposes. When you notice your funds dwindling, Modmount scammers will offer 'support credit'—funds that cannot be withdrawn and can only be used on their manipulative trading platform. This tactic drives you further into negative profits, leaving you increasingly indebted to them.

Modmount is a fraudulent company. They will deplete your hard-earned savings through a manipulated Forex trading platform. They use multiple phone numbers, often starting with the country code +44, claiming to be based in the UK. However, their accents and manner of speaking suggest they are actually operating from India. They are relentless in their calls, trying to deceive people. As someone who works hard every day to support my household, it's disheartening to see such scams destroy lives. These individuals will eventually face the consequences of their actions.
I am saddened and desperate to recover the funds I have put into Modmount. I emailed Optera Securities to report how I was scammed online, but only to find out that Optera Securities has been linked to fraudulent activities, particularly in connection with Modmount scam. An individual using the alias Ludwig Kane poses as a helpful figure, offering to assist victims in recovering lost funds. However, this is a deceptive tactic aimed at gathering evidence that victims may have against Modmount.
I first realized I was being scammed when the agent opened two trades on USD/JPY with the same volume—one as a sell and the other as a buy. This made me suspicious, as it seemed she was either unsure of the market direction or did it intentionally to trap me in their platform. I also noticed that many of my trades remained open for weeks without the option to close them, while the swap fees kept increasing and were eventually deducted from the profits, which had taken a long time to materialize. As a result, only minimal profit was made in the end.
Furthermore, the agent kept insisting that I deposit more funds because the margin level was dropping below 200%. I repeatedly told her that I couldn't add more money, as my bank had already begun collecting for the funds charged to my credit card that were deposited with Modmount. As time went on, the negative profits quickly escalated due to their manipulative trading practices. This is how they gradually drain your funds to zero.

Truth be told.

Beware: How This Broker Led Me to Financial Ruin and Emotional Distress
September 19, 2024

Please take a moment to read this review—it could prevent you from experiencing the same financial and emotional devastation I went through with this broker.

Pressured Into Increasing Deposits
I started with a modest deposit of $250, intending to ease into trading. Soon after, my account manager, Michael, began urging me to deposit more, convincing me to increase it to $2,000, and eventually $8,000, with promises that my account would grow to $100,000 within a year. He even pushed for another $30,000 deposit, which I fortunately declined. Instead, he added $2,000 in non-withdrawable credit, constantly reassuring me, "You will not lose this money." As time passed, I realized that I couldn't trust his promises.

Reckless Trading and Losses
At first, the trades were small and cautious, but within two weeks, Michael shifted to high-risk trading involving oil, indices, and forex—without stop losses or risk management in place. This strategy quickly led to large losses. As my account balance dropped drastically, Michael became unreachable, leaving me with no support.

More Pressure for Deposits Under False Promises
As my account continued to decline, Michael tried convincing me to invest even more money, offering various "packages" that promised lower swap fees. These packages, ranging from $5,000 to $25,000, were simply attempts to get me to pour more money into the account. By this point, I refused to give in, realizing it was all a strategy to extract more funds rather than address the real problem—his poor trading advice.

Unresolved Complaints and Withdrawal of Support
When I finally filed a formal complaint, the company offered me a $6,000 non-withdrawable credit—insufficient to make up for my losses. After I requested that Michael be removed from my account, the daily performance reports stopped entirely. Repeated attempts to get updates were ignored, leaving me completely in the dark about my account's status.

Second Wave of Losses
Instead of assigning a new account manager, they referred me to the "risk department." The advice I received was vague and led to yet another major loss. Following their guidance, my account suffered another huge blow within an hour. This marked my second severe loss in less than three weeks, and the situation only worsened.

Lack of Communication from the Complaints Team
After my second major loss, I reached out to the complaints department again—only to be met with complete silence. Their refusal to respond, combined with their continued mismanagement of my account, left me no choice but to escalate the matter publicly.

Conclusion: No Guidance, No Accountability
The $6,000 credit was nowhere near enough to make up for my losses, and I was abandoned without any real support. I was forced to make critical trading decisions on my own, which led to total financial ruin and emotional distress. I feel scammed, and the damage they caused has left a lasting impact on my financial and emotional well-being.

Total Investment: $10,250 | Total Loss: $14,500

This is a truthful and detailed account of my experience. If you've been affected by this broker, know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Sincerely,
Peter

Misleading and bullying
February 5, 2024

I saw a misleading post about Michelle Yeoh finding a good trading app on FB which led me to sign up. Obviously, it was a not a real post from The Star. See pic below. The website address isn't even The Star.

But quite honestly, their agents are fast acting, in less than 15 mins, I already got a call then they assisted me with the deposit. But reading more about the reviews online of traders and seeing their interface, I immediately took my money out. I don't know how to navigate the system and they are asking several documents. Then I got a call again from one of the brokers asking me why I withdrew my money, I just said I don't want to engage anymore. Then later at night, someone called me again explaining how to trade via leverage trading. I don't have time for that anymore. I just want my money back. THEN HE PROCEEDED TO BULLY ME INTO LETTING MY MONEY STAY IN THE ACCOUNT. Saying it's so weird for him that just in hours, I withdrew my money. So I explained to him that first, I DIDN'T APPRECIATE THAT MODMOUNT USED A MISLEADING POST FOR PEOPLE TO JOIN THEIR TRADING PLATFORM. DID MICHELLE YEOH, STEPHEN COLBERT, & MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT EVEN KNOW YOU ARE USING THEM TO PROMOTE YOUR PRODUCT, AND THAT IT IS MISLEADING BY NATURE? TRUST OUT OF THE DOOR. Second, IT'S MY MONEY. IF I WANT TO WITHDRAW IT, THEN I WILL WITHDRAW IT. PERIOD.

This is a trading platform and it involves money. Do your promotions in a clean way. Honestly, you have a lot of potential but you move like a scammer in your ads.
