72chrs have passed and still nothing. The Customer Service email is not working. Will gv them one more week.

Do not use this service, it is 100% a scam.

I paid £42 to unlock an iphone 8 that I owned after completing a 24 month contract with Vodafone. I'm loathed that I have to use a service like this, but Vodafone won't unlock the phone as it was purchased through mobilephones direct. Mobilephonesdirect claim that they are unable to unlcok the phone, so this was my only option.

I submitted the IMEI along with payment, then received confirmation that the unlock process had begun. I then received an e-mail asking about the mobile number used against the IMEI code, I provided this instantly, only for a request for that e-mail to be retracted. I thought this was strange but carried on.

Anyway, several days passed, no change to the status of the unlock, I emailed customer service, a woman called Candice replied, was very pleasant said that she'd do everything she could to chase up the status.

Since there was no update, I e-mailed them again this morning, asking if there was any update. An e-mail arrived stating that the status of my order had been updated, I logged in only to find that the status of the unlock is set to 'Blocked'.

E-mailed Candice several times, asked them if this service is a scam, this is the reply that I received:-

"No we are not a scam. The unlock has been blocked by the carrier, it could be due to the number provided not matching the IMEI or other contract/payment status issues.

In normal cases like this we would have to refer to the terms and conditions that you agreed to at the point of purchase regarding blocked devices and a no refund option would be presented as we have incurred the full cost of the service with our suppliers.

However on this occasion while we aim to help our customers as much as we can, I've negotiated a 50% refund on your unlock fee or we can use the unlock fee against an alternative non blocked or non blacklisted device"

I used a free service on the web to prove that the phone is unlocked, I sent this to Mobile Unlocked, surprisingly I did not get any response.

This is my experience, maybe I've been unlucky but it all seems like a scam to me, so be very wary.

Realicé el pago por servicio premium y el medidor se quedó en 99%, ya va para un mes de esa manera, el comercio no devuelve el dinero y solo da de largas diciendo que debo esperar más tiempo, lo que en realidad está pasando es que están esperando a que no se pueda reclamar el movimiento en el banco( cosa que ya hize), las opiniones positivas que tienen son falsas, no hay manera de conectarse con ellos. NO USEN LA PÁGINA SERÁN ESTAFADOS!

After waiting and I been waiting after I paid close to $200 still waiting hopefully it will happen but I expected more

Ordered unlock IMEI for Samsung. Three months later still no code, but they agreed to send me refund of 50% which I will never receive back,

It went by fast when you forget about it but the next day everything is set and ready to go perfect

Easy Took longer than I expected but its done now thank you so much use but a bit expensive

Very unclear instructions.

Plus I was unable to use my credit card of choice.

I have no idea why.

It was slow and they hella got me for more money then what they had said never again

Fast and simple or at least I thought it was still nothing after two weeks 95% and holding.

I was able to transfer my data and it was quick. The process didn't take long at all.

Bad experience because I paid for an unlock code and after a week, I still haven't received it

Asked for 29 to check then another 179 to unlock it,it's been 3 weeks lol $#*!ing scammers

Very good in the end just got to know how very pleased when my phone is unlocked

Still not unlocked I've waited longer than stated please refund me or email me on the unlock

Everything has been a dilemma to get my money back and they never gave it to me.

Terrible! I paid for the service over a week ago and the phone still hasn't been unlocked.

Straight forward. My experience was positive and it took less than a month to get it unlocked.
