This company - customer service is a mess! I am making it my point to provide BAD reviews on every outlet I see: Mint and Lily. So here goes: I placed an order with the company on December 6th for a Christmas gift, then another order a week before Christmas, in which I paid extra to have the items expedited in time for Christmas. I received both packages after December 28th. I was sending an email to *******@mintandlily.com (no telephone number to speak with a live agent) this should have been a red flag to note I would not receive my refund.
Before January 1,2025 - I returned both orders and received an email confirmation Jan. 6,2025, that the company received my return and to expect my refund in 10 business. Well, it is February - 2025 NO Refund. I emailed *******@mintandlily.com they informed me the following: Before they can process a refund, they wanted to make sure I was aware of all your options:
1. Gift Card Option
2. Refund Option: Since you've already completed the returns, we can process a refund to your original payment method. Please note that since these are your first orders and the entire orders were returned, there will be a 25% restocking fee, and the original shipping costs won't be refunded. I received this email on Jan. 21st. My response: (1) I waited until after Christmas to receive my items which caused me to spend an extra month to replace the gifts. (2) I would be charged a restocking fee because they did not hold up to what they promised in shipping and services.

Mint/Lily returned a response on Jan. 22nd stating the following I sincerely apologize for the frustration you're experiencing, and I completely understand your disappointment. You're absolutely right - your orders were meant to arrive before Christmas, and we failed to meet that commitment. Looking at your orders, I can see that both were delivered after December 25th, which meant you had to make alternative arrangements for your holiday gifts.
Given these circumstances, I agree that it wouldn't be fair to apply a restocking fee. I've escalated this to our management team to review your case immediately and ensure you receive a full refund without any restocking fees. I want to make this right for you. I will personally follow up with you as soon as I hear back from our management team, which should be within the next 24-48 hours. Again, I deeply apologize for this disappointing experience and appreciate your patience while we resolve this for you.

As of today, NO response or refund from Mint and Lily... This is a US-based company - please do not order from this company they are a ripe off. I have forwarded all my emails to our local news investigative reporters. I may not receive my $200 but I am making it my business that no one gets ripped off due to their poor

I purchased Lexie hearing aids for my brother a few months ago. Initially they were fine. After a couple of months one of them stopped working. He phoned Lexie and the nightmare began. First you can't understand what they are saying. English doesn't seem to be the primary language. The man told him they were probably dirty and needed to be cleaned. My brother never received the cleaning kit that should have been included. He spent an additional $70. And got the kit. When he received it the hearing aids were not dirty, that wasn't the problem. (They did make an additional $70. Plus the $1000. For the hearing aids). He phoned back after getting the run around again they finally had him send everything back including the charging unit. Come to find out the hearing aid needed to be replaced. They send him back his hearing aids but FAILED to return the charging unit. He phoned them and was told he'd have to call back. Whoever he needed to speak with was unavailable. I guess they don't know how to take a message. He phoned back and got the same story. He phoned back and was told someone would call back. That didn't happen. It's been several weeks and he had no hearing aids. We finally disputed the charge with the bank. Afterwards because of a clause with Lexie the bank charged again for the hearing aids. My brother paid the $1000. It's been several months he still doesn't have the charging unit. Last week someone from Lexie called him. My brother told him the issues theysomeone would call him back IMMEDIATELY! That didn't happen. I finally sent an email to them. (This company is not in the United States - there is NO corporate office to contact). Caleb sent me an email. He claimed they sent out many orders to my brother. I told him to send me proof of delivery. All he did was make up a fake list and sent it to me. No verification of shipping with tracking numbers etc. I played his game and told him we never got anything. I told him all he needs to do is send the charging unit to resolve this. He then says there is a problem with the payment and the finance department would make contact the next day. Well that didn't happen either. My brother has a $1000. Pair of hearing aids, paid an additional $70, for a cleaning kit and they REFUSE to return the charging unit. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A SCAM AND A RIP OFF. I will be taking this further.
