Funny, lots of bad reviews and they all sound really angry and say "never do business" with these folks. It would seem there would be some 2 or 3 star ratings but mostly only 1 star. I think someone is rigging these reviews. I have ordered fishing items from these people about 6 times and have good experiences. Once an item was back ordered and they sent it later. Their prices are almost always the lowest. I'm happy with them.

One star is giving this this company to much. My credit card company is refunding me, and going after these cowards. I filed a complaint with the bbb if you would like to see in the near future it will be available once this cowardly company hides from them as they have done from me. I probably will have to get a lawyer to get all the money these non american bastards cost me. Do not buy from these sharks. Considered yourself warned!

One star is giving this this company to much. My credit card company is refunding me, and going after these cowards. I filed a complaint with the bbb if you would like to see in the near future it will be available once this cowardly company hides from them as they have done from me. "TERRIBLE customer service, can't get through on fax or through web based form. I did pull this number ou of the white pages but have not gotten through yet. Everyone pls call them and let them know how you feel!

…SCAM... Wish I had read everyone's reviews first. Placed my order on 2/15/12 (in stock item) money was withdrawn from my account on 3/1/12. Have not received my item yet…3/27/12. No response to my emails and there is no phone contact available. This is the best part of there webpage "As a family owned company we operate as a family under the principles of Honesty, Integrity, Responsibility, Respect and Moral Character". Hope they don't lose any sleep at night… I promise I will never do business with them or any of the other names they use.

I ordered some parts and magazines for a carbine on Feb. 08,2012... I have not received anything as of March 2,2012,. Not an email if is back ordered or if it has been shipped. I have tried calling and have not been able to get a hold of anyone, even after being on hold for over an hour!

I have emailed this sorry $#*! outfit and they have not responded at all.

I hope it is true that if I just wait it out the items will be delivered.

For me, they were fine.

I ordered a knife that had been on backorder with my favorite online dealers. I inquired if Midwest really had it in stock, and they said yes (Unlike other sites that advertise everything in stock but then order from the manufacturer after you order from them). I will not name names.

Also, Midwest's price was better than my favorites.

I purchased and I received. Maybe a few days longer than typical, but they delivered what I wanted at a lower cost.

Take all reviews on any websites with a grain of salt. It's common for competitors to get their employees to post negative reviews.

Good shopping!

I would buy from them again.

This has been the worst company I have ever dealt with. After a 3 week delay, with no reasoning, I was delivered a vexilar that did not match the description. I contacted the company multiple times and was told that they do not take returns even though I only opened the box. This company was incredibly rude on the phone and I will never order from them again.

These people are the NAZIS of internet sporting goods. They have NO CONCEPTION of customer service. Here are quotes directly from THEIR website:

"All in-stock items will leave our facility in approximately 7-10 business days from when you place the order." What? A week or more before you ship?

"There will be a 15% cancellation fee on all canceled non-firearm orders that are currently processing" (so when you realize your order won't be shipped for over a week and want to cancel it, you will be charged a 15% cancellation fee).

"TGSCOM, Inc. reserves the right to refuse, delay, or cancel any order, at any time, for any reason." So if you're unhappy with a 7-10 day wait for shipping, they can extend it for as long as they like. They've got your money and if you want to cancel the order, they'll still charge you a 15% cancellation fee.

Put these guys out of business! I'm going to cancel my order and tell them that if they try to charge me 15%, I will put a claim against them with Visa. If enough people do that, Visa will cut them off.

This place has TERRIBLE customer service. They have turned off their phones so you have to use the online form to submit questions. Whatever you order, don't expect to ever get it. They will just charge your card and hold your order forever even though their site says they have stock.

Wow, I wish I would have read these reviews before I ordered. I placed my order for an H&K magazine floorplate on the 4th of October. This was an item that was listed as being in stock. Here it is on the 11th and it's still in the "processing" phase. Lesson well learned. Where most other companies say 7-10 business days to arrive, these guys say 7-10 business days before we even begin to think about getting around to even placing your order. These guys made a few dollars off of me but that's all they'll ever get.

Ordered a Don Hume holster for a S&W pistol. It broke while attempting to slip it over my belt; snapped the spring clip. Called Midwestern Hunters Outlet, was informed of their No Returns policy and was directed to contact Hume for warranty.
WILL NOT do business with this company again; LOUSY customer service.

I placed my order for an "in stock" item on Feb 25th. After the advertised 7-10 business days, I was told that the item was not really in stock and that the website was in error. At that time they quoted me a delivery estimate of 3-5 weeks. After the 5 weeks were over, I contacted them again to inquire about my order. They then said they had no idea when it was going to ship. The website STILL showed that the item was in stock (and still does). That was 3 Weeks ago. The worst part is that they charged my credit card a week after I placed my order ($200+!)! Today I have cancelled my order. Do yourself a big favor and STAY AWAY from this company! I just hope I can get my money back...

Recently purchased AZOOM Snap Caps from TGSCOM, Inc. I never received the order. When I contacted them they said there was nothing they would do but they would have a supervisor contact me within the hour. They did not. I then contacted them again. They put me on hold only to come back and say there was nothing I could do. I asked, "So what you're telling me is that I'm out that money and there's nothing I could do?" Her response was "that's correct". As a single father of 3 with a low paying job this is difficult to accept."

SCUM BAGS! I wish I had read reviews before ordering! These guys are scum bags! 7-10 days before an item ships?!?! Come on! I asked to cancel the order and they charged me a 15% fee! What BS! Stay away! I hope they fall on their faces and go out of business quickly. The world will be a better place.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? It took a full week of "processing" to put an item that was supposedly in stock in the mail and another full week for it to arrive. My phone messages/e-mails went un-answered and when I finally did manage to get in touch I was told I would be charged a restocking fee for canceling my order. So I bit my tongue and let the order process. 2 weeks later I finally had my stuff. Yeah I saved 2 or 3 bucks, but I literally could have driven there and got it myself in that amount of time. My favorite part... they say they won't charge your card until they ship your order but they put a hold on my account for the full purchase amount on day 1. Pretty tacky if you ask me. I will be taking my money elsewhere from now on.

I placed my order@ the end of march. They told me item was is stock. When I emailed the to see what was going on with order they told me is was due to supplier. I never recieved a email stating that My items would take longer then usual to ship. I also tried to cancel the order and it took them 3 whole business days to respond to me. I also read on there web site that they would not charge my CC till the items shipped. Well that is 100% false the take the money out of you account he day you p[lace the order. I do not think anyone should deal with this company unless you want a headache. I had to re order my items for another comapany. Which is another 200 plus dollars I had to come outta pocket until my funds are pout back in my account. I dont have the money to just be throwing around 200 plus to more then one company for the same thind. All I can say is BUYERS BEWARE, this company in my opinion is not worth dealing with.

ABOUT ALL I CAN SAY IS IF YOU WANT TO WAIT AT LEAST 2 WEEKS FOR YOUR ORDER TO SAVE A BUCK THEN MORE POWER TO YA. THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE! YOU HAVE NO OPTION TO UPGRADE SHIPPING AND WHEN I TRY TO CANCEL THE ORDER BEFORE IT EVEN SHIPS I'M TOLD ITS A 15% FEE, WELL THATS BULLSHIZ! I DON'T USE THESE IDIOTS, I KNOW I WON'T EVER AGAIN.

We will stat from the beginning i placed a order for a couple magazines for my rifle on 02/12/12 and started processing like normal, about a week goes by and i check back on the status and the order and its still processing, i check back the next week and the same and then the site said it was sold out of this product... when i placed my order all items in question were "in stock" seeing as you cant call, i left a message on there board on 03/12/12 and i have still not heard anything back... these "people" that run this place are straight bogus and i am reporting them to the bbb... DO NOT TRUST MIDWEST HUNTERS OUTLET THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

I called to confirm the great price and order fluorocarbon leader. They shipped a different brand and it is the less expensive mono. I was promptly emailed a reply to my complaint, which was blank with no text. You know what they say, if it seems too good to be true... it was. Live and learn

I placed an order for a DeSantis holster on Thursday 1/12/12 and had order confirmation via email that evening. I received shipping confirmation via email Friday and my order was delivered on Tuesday, 1/17/12. Five (5) days from order placement until order delivery... that's damn good service, in my opinion.

My opinion of Midwest Hunters Outlet is that they intentionally delay the order so that the customer becomes frustrated and cancels his/her order. They then collect the 15% "restocking" fee (25% on firearms). Not a bad deal... take some internet orders, invest in a few phone lines to take the complaints and rack in the fees for something you never intended to ship in the first place once the customer finally cancels the order. I ordered an item eight days ago (listed as "In stock") which has yet to ship, so I believe I'll be contacting the Wisconsin BBB to try and get this resolved.

Still waiting on my stufff if you order from this site expect to wait a good 20 days, 10 just for processing tracking number says it will be here in another 10 days so if you don't mind waiting i guess use this site.

Called and checked order status of order placed; young lady curtly explained that I was only calling on an order that was two business days old. Seemed suspect; so I went and searched again for the item that we ordered (swimming island). They did not even come up on the Google search which is how I originally found them. So I became suspicious of them. So then I searched Google for the company name and that is when I ran across all of the bad reviews of the this company. Called and cancelled order and was charged 15% restocking fee for an order that was two business days old! Stay away!
