Initially it seemed to be inconvenient, but I got adjusted to microsoft store quickly. I download themes for my desktop, install all crucial applications in a blink of an eye. If we compare installation process when you download something from the net, then it's far slower. So, I'm glad using it and can't understand those scolding it.

I came back for holiday and I found my app gone for no reason. I tried uninstalling and installing it but it said "something happened on our end" and it keeps asking for microsoft edge's latest download! Come on, I have microsoft edge (latest version downloaded) but it still does not work! What else does this thing WANT! WHY THIS THING?! I pay good money for good apps, not ones that don't work. I WANT MY DISNEY + BACK NOW!

I came back for holiday and I found my app gone for no reason. Come on, I have microsoft edge (latest version downloaded) but it still does not work! What else does this thing WANT! WHY THIS THING?! I pay good money for good apps, not ones that don't work. Microsoft is the worst system I have ever attempted to use I would rather get a vasectomy from a lion on meth than continue to use Microsoft I finally understand why people want to kill themselves, I hope Bill Gates gets lost in a mine field, I'm coming for your little skinny behind and when I find it I'm going to kick it all over this town-o, town-o, town-o. Microsoft has caused me to take up a new hobby, binge drinking Microsoft gives me an itch on the roof of my mouth that only the barrel of a shotgun can scratch. Eat $#*! you greedy bastard

I got an HP laptop for about $2100 from MS store last year and it said it came with the extended warranty. One year later the warranty they offered doesn't exist or they don't honor it.

And the HP laptop has had some many glitches.

The MS ecosystem is just so so sadly.

Getting help is such a pain. I will be spending as little money with Microsoft as possible.

Many of the problems I've had should be routine but I can spend hours trying to solve this. Microsoft doesn't seem to care about me or my time and I guess my business isn't big enough.

From now on before I buy from companies I am going to test their customer service. I do not have all day to waste on their cheapness in their refusal to invest in decent customer service system.

Tip for consumers:
Outlook runs ok until you have a problem. My account is repeatedly being hacked and I can't even find a replace to report it. So the problem isn't getting solved. I am tired of wasting my time with both these Microsoft accounts and am going to find less "Fat Cat" services that will appreciate my business and help me solve problem quickly without red tape and stress

Tried to preorder about three times input all my details for the xbox series x only to be denied every time and sent back onto this screen that says it out of stock. I honestly give up on this site literally cannot preorder or buy any console. If you look at the pre-orders for your xbox series x halo edition they're on EBAY listed for double the price. Those are the people you're selling to that aren't even remotely interested in your product and more interested on making money over it. Ridiculous.

I ordered a Xbox headset for my son that ended up being returned but when I called to reorder it they were unable to do it so I asked for a refund instead. I sat on thephone with the rep for about an hour and she ensured me my money would be returned, here I am a month later and still haven't been reimbursed. On top of that it is literally impossible to talk to a person or even chat with one #microsoftrobbedme

The rep who sold me the Surface lied to me and the company refuses to honor the $100 post-sale credit they promised. Even though it was written and saved in the chat log. Two follow-up chat conversations and a very long phone call to sales support and each time was told "we can't do anything, but we've put a note in for the chat rep and they will contact you tomorrow to fix this". All BS. No one ever follows up. Asking for a manager gets you hung up on. Which means another 30 minutes on hold or waiting for a chat rep to respond.

I will never buy another Microsoft device again.

Returned product using the RMA USPS First Class Pkg label sent to me. Tracked with USPS and this is what came up. Tracking Number:

"Tracking Not Displayed
Tracking information will not be displayed because this package was shipped with counterfeit postage. Please contact the merchant or seller with any questions."
I guess it isn't MS fault, however I had to pay credit card for product and a LATE Fee. "
I'm filing a dispute with VISA.

Been trying to order an Xbox for a Christmas gift, first my credit card blocked the purchase thinking it was fraud, got that approved and resolved now Microsoft won't let me order. They told me there was a 24 hour block on my account because I tried ordering it so many times, waited 24 hours and Microsoft won't allow the purchase to go through. Spent an hour on the phone yesterday and still nothing resolved.

Doesn't say anywhere how I can configure my account and the instructions are wrong! I cannot log in and there is nowhere I can find out how I can log in with the code I need that I NEVER MADE. I am losing my mind and I am usually a calm person. They have the worst support system!

Please never purchase anything from the MICROSOFT store, why? They have completely automated there password reset if you lost it you will never again be able to reset your account unless you have old credit card numbers and passwords. You will be out all the money you have spent and nothing you can do about it.

The customer services agents you will contact will basically tell you too bad.

This is such a terrible downloader. Use steam or anything else for games. The microsoft store takes ages to download something and it doesnt even show you the percentage its at. So stupid. Never use it. Just use steam for games or download apps on chrome

There's a arbitrary limit of 10 devices and it's the dumbest thing I could have possibly thought of imagine having multiple pcs and then being forced to make entire new accounts just to download apps on multiple rigs

I haven't really used microsoft store on my laptop much, as I didn't think I needed games on my laptop, but I do have a singular online game that updates frequently. So the game was going through one of its updates, and I was unable to update it because every single time I opened up microsoft store to update the game, it closed. The one time I used it, it was completely unable to help. Don't use it, its completely unreliable and fragile as glass.

I understand the idea of having a family plan, but it's ruining alot of peoples lives especially mine. I dont fully understand how to use microsoft business without someone from another country misguiding me, and you're promoting it, i was promised a free laptop and i never got it. I wanted to integrate my business and did everything by downloading everything microsft but it's more confusing now.

Tip for consumers:
help me, I've been a loyal consumer, I'm using my mom's school laptop that's windows. I want to partner up with Microsoft to send laptops to my country in Africa, but it's taken longer than possible, my business account is so hard to use.

I was trying to buy a Surface laptop. MS sales is broken at every turn. The specs said one thing, but no model was offered with those specs. I went on "support" chat and got a message that they were closed after 6PM PT. The time was 3:30. Then I called "support" and got someone who I could barely understand and he had trouble understanding me. After much frustration, I said forget it and hung up. Later, I received an email from MS (Microsoft Surface <*******@email.microsoft.com>) offering me info about the Surface (which I already knew). I emailed back to express my disappointment with MS and the postmaster said the email didn't exist. So, I went to Lenovo and found a much better laptop with everything I wanted for $1000 less.

Tip for consumers:
Don't bother. There are better computers for cheaper and MUCH better sales service than Microsoft.

Horrible experience have been a loyal console client for years and on the preorder I was waiting for 11:00am to purchase and their website was giving freaking errors and did not allow to buy the damn console. I called they place on hold for mora than 10 minutes to come back and give me the BS answer that it was sold out. I have a picture of the error at 11:07 am when i tried to purchase picture below. Really disappointed at how poorly a loyal client is treated.

Part of my package content was stolen during the delivery. Microsoft doesn't offer any kind of protection. Amazon is my new source

Do not buy anything from Microsoft store, you will never get the correct product, AND you won't get your money back! 2 months I have been dealing with this, they shipped the wrong product in the box, called immediately to get the process going. They made me buy the exact same product for a 2nd time, and said they would refund me. There are no humans that answer the phone, cust support is online now, and you just go in circles and it brings you back to where you started. I returned the wrong product shipped, but still have not seen my refund over $1600. 00! Microsoft store is horrific, this kills me to say it but go to Best Buy (not much better) or a store you can physically put your hands on the product when you purchase it!

Do not buy online, buy it from someone you can walk out of the store with your product

I recently purchased a Surface Pro 8 online at the surface store. I have had issues with the product from the start. Yesterday the onscreen keyboard would not appear. I called customer support and requested a call back, it came and then I had to wait on hold for over 9 minutes for someone to talk to. After going back and forth for a few minutes I was told to hold on again as he was checking something-I was disconnected. I called back, received another call back, this time I waited over 12 minutes. I told him that I was dissatisfied and wanted to return everything. He transferred me to sales, I spoke for a few minutes with someone and again was disconnected. You can't make this crap up.

Buy a different computer

Microsoft is not supporting the store very easily. I made a $26 purchase & it doesnt install. There is a phone number if you jump through enough hoops, but every link is to a chat bot that misdirects you. If you have issues installing anything you purchase, it'll take hours to resolve. I wish I could work on the desk supporting this line because they likely get 3 calls a day due to how hard it is to get transferred to the right place.

Moderne svindlere – utrolig historie - hold jer væk!

Jeg købte i april 2021 en bekostelig Microsoft Surface 7+ computer. Den så glimrende ud, og i starten var jeg glad.
Så skete det i juli. Blå skærm. Den døde. Ikke bare døde den – den kom sig aldrig. Gennem en jungle af telefonkøer kom jeg igennem til en tekniker ved Microsoft, der kunne fjerndiagnosticere, at "motherboardet var uigenkaldeligt dødt".
Nu ville jeg jo så gerne have en ny computer, og jeg troede, det var en nem sag. Men her starter svindlen.
Et sted med småt skriver de i salgskontrakten fra Microsoft Store Danmark, at man ikke får en ny computer men tilbydes en "refurbished" computer. Altså en brugt computer, der har været under reparation.
Jeg mente ikke, at det kunne være rigtigt og undersøgte reglerne. Den danske købelov giver 2 års reklamation, og de er forpligtet til at give noget, der tilsvarer en ny computer eller pengene tilbage. Forbrugerrådet TÆNK gav mig ret i dette men sagde, at det var en sag for Forbrugerankenævnet.
Så oprettede jeg en klage ved Forbrugerankenævnet, og jeg kunne se, at lignende klager i arkivet havde fået medhold. Men nej nej – Microsoft Store Danmark er i virkeligheden en forretning etableret i Irland, selvom den markedsfører sig dansk, med danske ansatte og i danske kroner. Så Forbrugerankenævnet ville kun tage sagen, hvis Microsoft bekendte sig som danske forhandlere – og det ville de ikke. Nu var de en irsk butik.
Tilsyneladende var de ikke en gang en butik, for ifølge købeloven – også de europæiske regler – er det forhandlerens ansvar at give mig en ny pc. Men Microsoft er både forhandlere og producenter – og det er deres producentgaranti, de konstant referer til. Salgsgaranti findes slet ikke.
Nå, Forbrugerankenævnet sendte den videre til EU-klagenævnet. Men! Jeg er udlandsdansker og bor i Ungarn, så det danske ville ikke tage sagen. Jeg skulle tage den op med det ungarske tilsvarende. Disse fik fat på Microsoft i Irland, og her fik jeg pludselig en truende mail fra Microsoft om, at jeg har eskaleret sagen men at de ikke vil give sig overhovedet.
Dette meddelte jeg EU's klageorgan, og de kunne så fortælle mig, at hvis Microsoft ikke ønsker at diskutere sagen – så kan EU ikke tvinge dem. Klagenævnet er nemlig ikke en myndighed. Så mit eneste skridt frem er at lægge civil sag mod Microsoft.
Kan det virkelig være rigtigt? Er vi så nemme at narre?
Jeg kunne ikke lægge sag an mod en gigant som Microsoft, så jeg tog deres forbandede brugte computer her i januar.
Så skete det selvfølgelig, at det viste sig, den havde et dårligt batteri. Sååååå, jeg skulle for tredje gang geninstallere Windows og hele cirkusset med en ny – brugt – computer. Det er denne, jeg sidder og skriver fra. Og på denne har jeg oplevet, at der går Blå Skærm i den hver anden dag, og mens jeg skriver dette, stoppede tastaturet med at virke og skærmen blev sort. Denne gang magter jeg ikke at tage en FJERDE BRUGT COMPUTER fra dem. Jeg køber en Apple og rører aldrig Microsoft igen.
Hermed min opfordring – hold jer langt langt væk fra Microsoft!
