Membean is haunted! When I tried to use it last week, I was met with a TERRIFYING DEMON GOBLIN GHOST on my screen, with HYPER-REALISTIC BLOOD coming out of it's eyes! I was so terrified, I pooped myself in the middle of ELA, and everyone laughed at me! I can't believe this happened to me. NEVER USE THIS WEBSITE! It took me 45 minutes to clean the poop out of my pants! I can't believe this, genuinely. I am traumatized. I've gone through about 2 years of therapy to mentally heal myself from this incident, and it's still terrifying me to this day.

I am a Christian of the lord almighty the one true god and all these words and NOT A SINGLE ONE IS FROM THE BIBLE, i feel like it is the devil wanting you to sin and not talk about the bible, what does even "rhetoric" mean, I bet its a secret word for IM THE DEVIL AND YOU SHOULD SIN. I have the perfect family, no mean to brag but I have beautiful children, and this membean stuff IS RUINING MY FAMILY. My daughter has started to gain a vocabulary of words like "Malicious" "Havoc" and this is terrible for her brain. Anyway, please devil, go back to hell with you and i will end this off on a good note by sending a picture of my wonderful family.

A few months ago, my grades had fallen to a J- and I really needed some extra credit. So, my English teacher told me that if I decided to do an hour of Membean, she would raise my grade to an A+. Unfortunately for me, I had about ******* minutes of dubious minutes when I accidentally left my computer on, and I was told that I had to complete them all that day. I spent the entire school day doing the most impossibly boring, repetitive, and menial work that teaches me words I have not seen in my 10 years of reading English. Even worse, since I had so many dubious minutes, I had to take my work home with me, but when I was walking home from the bus Diddy himself came out of the shadows, grabbed me, and threw me to the ground. He then used his collection of premium baby oil on me, clapped my cheeks (he kept yelling "wooooooo yeahhh that thang be JIGGLING), tied my arms and hands, and threw me in the Diddy Van. I was driven to a factory where I was chained to a 130 degree Fahrenheit room where we were forced to do Membean until our dubious minutes were cleared, in addition to being the cattle in Diddy Parties. So, yeah. Unless you like being molested by Diddy, please don't use Membean.

Its borring and bad, I have to do 15 minutes if it everyday and it just sucks, please don't use it for your school, unless you hate children.

I do membean for school all it does is repeat questions and the videos they put for the site and questions are horrible. It also has no updates

Membean "teaches" by giving you words that aren't used in society anymore. It doesn't teach you how to actually use the words in sentences, or conversation to make you speak more eloquently.

Membean is very very bad. If you do not know what rectify means you will be sent to the Diddy party and your will be taken. My life has not been the same after I started to membean. My wife left me for the mail man, my gyatt has been put at level 1, and i have been tramatized on the images it has used.

DO NOT RUIN YOUR LIFE! LEAVE MEMBEAN ALONE!

Membean is a horrible site that possibly holds a demon. The words it teaches are words you either already know or are so obscure you have never and will never hear or see them again. It prides itself on its focus for memorization, but the techniques used are trash, I can never remember anything and it doesn't actually teach you how to use a word. Worst of all, its insistence on making you learn every root, prefix, and suffix known to mankind, that doesn't help me discern the meaning of the word because fixes like "in-" have 136 possible meanings, ranging from "not" to "into" to "signify." The questions are incredibly misleading and may have multiple correct answers, but only gives credit for one of them. The images are 144p res at best and are often disturbing or downright inappropriate, even demonic, and have absolutely nothing to do with the words they represent and everything to do with subliminal messaging. If vocab is a punishment in purgatory, this is the devil's favorite tool of torture.

Membean started all of my problems. My hot girlfriend broke up with me, my dog ran away, and i got robbed just because I didn't know what "rectify" means. Membean is the center of my problems and the CEO isnt safe. I lost everything because of that man and his absurb idea with this website. The photo below shows how angry I am. Sara please come back I promise I'll finish my vocabulary.

As an educator, and a user of Membean for quite some time, I have been absolutely astounded at how abysmal it is at teaching what it was promised to do for my students. Membean is advertised as a learning tool to greatly expand upon students' vocabulary, however, their website is extremely outdated, constantly buffering whenever my students are on it. Not only is it an extremely slow website, but the educational videos to further learn about the certain word or topic contain profanity. Upon my discovery of this, I instantly knew Membean could be no longer. To put it simply, if you are also an educator, or even a student, don't bother ever using Membean.

Everything is terrible. The pictures have a quality of 180p. You will never use these words in real life. The site is dated. Don't use. Doesn't teach students anything.

I understand why some educators favor this app. It is much easier to use than traditional vocabulary methods. However, the entire process in which it tries to teach you is outdated and ineffectual. It will give you a question and ask you to type the correct word, but there will be several words that could fit in the space. It has a hint button, but you are only allowed to use it once, and half the time it will just be an E or A, thus making it unhelpful. Plus, the whole 15 minute thing is way too long, and most people just turn it on, do 5 problems and then let it sit instead of doing the work. In addition, you aren't allowed to spread out the 15 minute sessions over the course of several days. You are required to do all 15 minutes on the same day, otherwise it doesn't count. Plus, the entire site is outdated, glitchy, and laggy. In the image below, you can see how vague some of the questions are. There are hundreds of words that began with IN that could have that definition.

It sucks so have a picture of something idk i havent planned it out yet, also it kinda sucks idk dndndn

I am forsed to do 15 minites at least 3 times a week and if I don't do it my grades will drop and that will lead to bad stuff but its the most boring site I've been on in a while so I don't want to do it because my mind isn't stimulated like at least more animations would help

It focuses on new words that are very new to me, a placement test also set before you start. It goes beyond traditional and everyday words and focuses on advanced words to be learned.

This is a terrible site. I really dislike it. We have to do it for over an hour a week, and it's so mind-numbing and boring. It's not that great, and sure it helps you learn vocabulary words, but still. It's even more boring than I-ready. Please make this site more fun, or at least less boring.
