I took my wife to maurices just to check it out. The employees greeted us with a Welcome to maurices. Being a man I though it was going to be one of those days. The employees made it a joyful experience. Thanks guys
Just wish their jeans would Hold up an not Rip or Tear within a few Months. I bought my Jeans in October of 2023, an the Belt Loops already tore off, now the Thighs are Tearing already and I've only had them for 4 months. They need to do better on their Quality of Jeans. Instead of making them so Cheap. I have a pair of Torrid jeans that are a Starting to tear after 4yrs of having them.
Worst customer service and just plain regular service. Overpriced with bad service. Never again. Them refusing my request for a refund due to not receiving my items is unacceptable I dont care what circumstance. If you dont ship I get my money back 0 questions asked.
Pants looked good for the initial wear after one wash in cold water inside out the pants shrunk, and I had to pass them on to someone that could use them. They were not worth the cost.
I like shopping at Maurices and find a lot of unique items. My biggest complaint is waiting two weeks for my order to ship, then getting an email stating that it is canceled due to unavailable inventory or unforeseen circumstances. I just ordered a sweatshirt I really liked and had this happen again. This is the third time it's happened in less than a year. Very disappointing.

I started shopping at Maurices in the 90s. I don't remember much about their style that long ago. However since around 2010/2011. Their clothing has went down hill. Idk who is in charge of the plus size clothing. But it looks out dated, way too short for plus size, and like something one would find at a thrift store/Goodwill. It's like little house on the prairie meets 95 year old grandma@ goodwill. Email me. And fire whoever is in charge of plus size clothing
When shopping in your stores in Canada the store clerks are always saying if you don't see it in the store just order your size on line. Never once did they mention that you pay for shipping as well as duty on Canadian orders. There is only one web site. Also it would be nice to know that when placing an order wether or not the item is no longer available. Instead of being told two days later and order has been shipped. Not impressed with my first experience in dealing with this company.
I have loved Maurice's for so long and have almost exclusively shopped there. They have gone downhill in the last few years. They have changed their amazing Jeggings (don't fix something that isn't broke) and now they are thick and uncomfortable. Not to mention they made real pockets in front when they used to be false pockets, now they just poke out. The jeggings are now just uncomfortable and unattractive. They do not have near as many cute tops with layering options. Just plain jane tee shirts and ugly tops. They started selling lingerie, pajamas and kids clothes as well. Too many baskets to deal with and are losing out in all the other areas.
Online ordering is a joke, and takes too long to ship, yet the stores have little inventory.
Get it together before a good thing is lost.

So I canceled my order moments after placing my order. It was already charged to my account. I got told i have to wait 3-5 business days for the money to be put back onto my debit card. WHAT? They removed the money from my account in a second but now i have to wait almost a week for it to be put back in? The reason i canceled was because of the extra charges: duties and USD currency then changed to CAD. Won't be shopping at any location of this store in Canada. :(

I was shocked a bit at the fact that customer service don't try to keep you as a customer. They're willing to cancel order way too quickly..you'd think during a pandemic that everyone would also want to stay open and be grateful for our business.. I guess i was wrong
I went to the store on the 19th of March 2020, the door was closed around 13:40 and with no sign stating that they will open probably after 1hr or so, then I thot maybe they closed the door on purpose... Then I went and open the door, then the African guy came and shouted at me... " we will open after lunch!" I asked what time is after lunch? He didn't even know, he kept on saying after lunch... That was very disgusting! I don't think I will shop again in this store!
The construction quality and fit of most items I've tried has been poor. The styles aren't current and I always wonder how Maurices stays in business.
I really like the design of their clothing. They're style are super cute and unique. However, the materials they use for their clothing a really cheap. Non of the pieces I have purchased have lasted more than a year. For the amount they charge for their clothing you would expect good quality but they fail at this. I am close to paying of my credit card with them and will never shop at their locations again.
I ordered some clothes through their website and if what the order tracker says is true, it will be 10 days from order to delivery. I could have just gone to the damn store if I knew it was going to take THAT long. I live in a major city, not some rural area. Theres no reason it should take that long. Amazon delivers in 2 days.
I went into the store to look at a dress I found online. They did not have the dress in their store, so I tried on a similar one and then ordered the dress I wanted online in a size small. This was two weeks prior to my party. I received the dress unfortunately it came to me in a size XL. I called customer service and they shipped me another dress and I returned the oversized one. Well the dress shipping confirmation said it was delievered even though it was not. I was home at said time and we have a ring doorbell and no one came to our house. I called customer service again and they basically told me I was out of luck as they could not guarantee I would get another dress in time even though they could have overnighted the dress to me. So after ordering in plenty of time in advance I am screwed and now have to try to find time with my long work day tomorrow to find a dress that fits properly and I like. Sooooo disappointed with maurices at this point and don't know if I will ever return even though this is where I purchase 90% of my work clothes from here.

A friend at work told me about Maurices, so I checked it out and ended up placing about three rather large orders from their online store. Everything had been great... until recently. I went to place another large order (11 shirts, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 necklaces). My order went through, I received confirmation and then I received a notification that my order had been shipped, however, all 11 shirts were canceled with no explanation. I also noticed that the duties (I live in Canada) increased somehow from the $41.00 I had agreed to pay on the 11 shirts, 2 pairs of jeans and 2 necklaces to $67.00 for only the 2 pairs of jeans and 2 necklaces that I was to end up receiving! I called customer service who attempted to tell me that the increase was due to the conversion from US to CDN money... um, no... $41.00 US is about $51.00 CDN. I spoke with a different customer service agent who escalated the matter, but also advised me over the phone that she didn't know why those shirts were canceled as some were in fact, still in stock. I also went online again to see if the shirts were still available... they were. Fast forward a few days and I was notified that I would receive a credit for the duties, great I'll take it. So, I decided to give Maurices another shot... I attempted to place another large order: 13 shirts. The order went through okay and I thought I was in the clear this time... until 15 minutes later I received an e-mail telling me that my order had been canceled - the entire order. I spoke with another customer service representative who said all 13 shirts were out of stock... then why the heck are they appearing online and why the heck am I entering my credit card information, and receiving confirmation when the items are not even in stock!?!?! I'll go elsewhere now... WAAAAAY too much hassle.
Clothes have a pretty design but the quality is not the best for the price. They are overpriced. I can find the same designs but better quality and price in Kohls or Macys. T
I'm amazed at the reviews for Maurices saying "great customer service" because I have NOT experienced that. I placed an order for 2 skirts on Aug. 24,2016, they shipped on Aug. 26,2016, so no problems there. The problem is I cannot get any tracking updates since the 26th - the FedEx site just says "label created". What? There are NO updates since Aug. 26th, and today is Sept. 1st? And I tried to call customer service yesterday and held for over 5 minutes and had to hang up. Then I sent an online inquiry and have NOT received a response to my inquiry. They sure don't mind taking your money, but customer service with them? It's NON EXISTENT in my opinion! Will NOT buy from them again.
I have got clothes from Maurices for many many years. I have given this company thousands of dollars a year in the amount of clothes that I buy from them. It has only been recently in the last year to year-and-a-half that every pair of jeans that I have bought and from Maurices that are the Maurices brand have fallen apart or given out in the leg thigh area. Your jeans material quality has dropped significantly. And I just wanted you to know that I have noticed the difference. If you're going to change the quality of your product the prices need to reflect that. So at this point in time I will no longer be buying jeans from you guys especially if I'm spending $40 on a pair of pants that after 6 months of wearing them completely gives out.
I would like to start by saying how I have enjoyed the products that I have received from Maurices in the last online purchases that I have received. What I did not appreciate was the surprisingly large amount of money charged to my credit card. I was given no indication at the time of purchase that the items and my total were in USD, I was notified on my credit card statement of the conversion to CAD, 40 dollars more than what I thought I was going to be paying. There is no way I would have purchased the items had I been informed.
I was also extremely disappointed that after my order was submitted and processed, I was notified through an email that Maurices had cancelled one of my items for a list of reasons that seemed vague and unprofessional. I would like to re state how much I have enjoyed the clothing and shoes that I have ordered but unfortunately will not be ordering again.
I like the fact of buying things online since the stores around me don't have much of a selection. I don't like that when your shopping on their website and things are taken out of your cart before you have a chance to even checkout. Really frustrating! Tonight I bought off of there. Didn't get the free shipping like I was suppose to and I was over 50.00. While I was in the middle of checking out and updating my information etc. stuff was removed from my cart again. I didn't realize it til after I submitted my order. Not really happy right now with them and I think I will be shopping elsewhere.
Have bought several times from the website. Was happy with most of what I ordered- delivered timely and the jeans were on sale.
HOWEVER- I am STILL waiting almost TWO MONTHS for my second refund. The first refund took SIX WEEKS and I have already made two calls -- Asked to speak with the "managers" but they both sounded just as dumb as the other people I talked to! NO Straight Answers - Just given the runaround! I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau ASAP!

Twice I selected 2 different Silver jeans filtering by inseam length. It gave me a couple choices. Both times I was able to get to confirm order. At that time it tells me my selection is out of stock. VERY frustrating! I feel like I have to race when I'm shopping when the item says "low inventory". Instead I will go somewhere else.
I have always loved the Maurice's clothing but every time I have ordered from them they cancel something on my order. It is disappointing and misleading. I have had enough and will be giving my business to a company that is consistent and completes customer orders. It's obvious Maurice's doesn't want my business.
I needed a pair of jeans from the store in Oklahoma City and they have no way of getting them. They no longer have the option to ship store to store and the person on the phone pretty much told me to drive the 2 1/2 hours and go get them
So. I was in the store today. And im about a size 6. The women associates greeted me, told me about the sale that was going on. I said thank you and im just looking around. It was my first time in the store. Ever... so i was just feeling it out. I have heard good reviews before so i wanted to see for my self. I could have bren shopping for someone else. I felt like the sales person was stalking me. I was in there for maybe 15 mins just looking around and she approached me 4 times. I was so uncomfortable she told me i was in the plus sizes and my sizes were on the other side. I felt like i was not welcome in the store.
