Buyer Beware! Fort Myers location sold my elderly grandfather a tempur-pedic mattress for $6919. 31 and told us it would be delivered 2 days later, an hour after the purchase we got a call that the item was not in stock and was likely not going to be delivered for another 4-7 days. Well over 2 weeks later we got a call that they were not going to fulfill the order since the are no longer selling tempur-pedic and that it would take another week for the credit to be issued. Now over 3 weeks later my grandfather does not have the new bed nor his MONEY! Exploiting the elderly and withholding just under 7 THOUSAND DOLLARS of a wounded veteran, Purple Heart recipient on a fixed income. It really is criminal.

Buyer Beware! Bought my mattress 2 years ago paid 1,200 for a queen size and 1 1/2 year later a 2 inch dropp happens on my wife's side and mine she's only 130 lb and I'm 165 warranty should be a 10 year... Well I filled out the warranty sheet and also try sending 3 emails and also 3 calls all of then with a very polite voice mail and still no call back, well $#*! you very much guys i should've gone with the original mattress but tried to save a few bucks that's what happens I have a queen size from the original mattress for 8/9 years and still perfect.

Bought should be called number one scam sould my unsuspected wife a hot bed of hot soup no warrenty no return sold as is, what! A store selling as is, as is crap, used then returned and then sold as new. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS

We were serviced by Robert Green at the Mattress1 store in Winter Garden, Florida.

We bought a Tempurpedic mattress and were interested in the adjustable electric base. We were doubtful about the base, though, since we have a custom made sleigh bed and feared with the base and the mattress on top it might be too high. But Robert ensured us, that the base would only add 2-3 inches in the default position (not electronically elevated). So we purchased the base as well.

When the mattress and base were delivered and set up on our bed, the base turned out to add roughly 10 inches (without legs the legs, of course, only the base itself). Which results in our bed being 36 inches high. Unacceptable. We called the store and Robert ensured us that would be no problem at all, he would come by and fix that. 2 weeks later, and multiple calls and visits to the store and pictures taken of the bed and shown to him and multiple promises by him to get it resolved for us - nothing has happened. He eventually also realized that he couldn't fix it, told us that he thought he could lower our bed which is why he told us it wouldn't be a problem (he admitted the he knew the adjustable base he sold us is almost 10 inches high but thought he could lower the platform of our bed by 5-6 inches to make up for it). Mind you, he had never seen our bed when he sold us the items...

Today he gave us a customer service number to call, which we did. We explained our situation - the person on the phone said she was sorry, that shouldn't have happened or been promised, put me on hold to speak to a manager - and 5 minutes later comes back and tells me that there is no store credit or refund, they don't do that. It's our problem that we bought the base. And hung up.

Worst possible customer service, ever. Absolute disgrace of a sales person (Robert is the store manager, mind you, which makes it even worse). They blatantly lie to customers to get a sale - and then refuse to own to their mistakes (or lies).

I strongly urge everyone not to buy anything from mattress1 in general - but particularly not the store in Winter Garden, Florida!

I would like to start this off by saying I am offended, I feel used, and honestly dont know how this company is still up and running. I recently quit my job at mattress one as a delivery driver, I found an add on indeed and went through with the application process. I was told my pay was going to be $85 a day plus whatever I make on deliveries. That was the first lie, my first paycheck looked correct and I felt as though I may have found a permanent workplace. After my first two weeks of working with mattress one I noticed many situations that I unintentionally put myself in for example, co workers asking my help to sell used mattresses under the table (which I denied and went to my supervisor right away), Workers trying to sell me drugs on the job (which I denied obviously its a place for drug addicts), There was no clock in or out system, no schedules given to employees, and having to hound my boss down to find out simple information expected to be given by a manager or supervisor. After receiving my second paycheck from mattress one I was furious because foreshadowed this happening two weeks in, I was paid $10 less than my last paycheck (I was paid $75 a day) and there was also 3 days missing. When I confronted my boss about my situations his reply to me Buddy youre causing me to many issues and then hung up the phone with me his name being Mario; Manager for deliveries. I then attempted to call back and he answered telling me to come back to the office to get the rest of my check. As I pulled into the warehouse Mario called me again saying he could not help me. I was livid so I walked inside to attempt to speak to someone above him in status and was shot down again. I then quit the company afterwards. To this day which about 2 weeks have gone by since Ive quit no one will answer the questions and would like to help resolve not only my issues but the same issues Im sure my co workers are experiencing right now.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They delivered a mattress that had mold growing inside and have refused to replace it. Do yourself a favor and buy from another company
