Clearly site jabber is a catch-all for bad reviews so take those with a grain of salt. From my experience, support for MapifyPro has been awesome, and the plugin is incredibly powerful compared to what else is out there. There will always be customers you can't make happy, and I think that's happening here, but as a longtime customer it's been great.

“Awful support, non-standard error practices”

I had tremendous damage because of the map on campaign page being down for three weeks without us doing anything to cause it. No support from their side, despite almost daily requests via email and Facebook. I then had to move everything to a new plugin because of your complete lack of support. You just get automated emails and when there is a problem, they completely lock the plugin so that only the shortcode remains on the page. Also, the validation keys would deactivate every single time the live site was updated from stage. Instead of fixing it, I got a lengthy description how to deactivate, reactivate etc. Ridiculous developer! Awful customer service (paid account).

Tip for consumers:
Careful, awful developer. When things go wrong, more than their prescripted answers provide for, there is no customer service at all.

After purchased their app for a lifetime subscription, they changed plan without notice and disabled the activation key making the plugin not working. Should get them to court to breach a contract between us! Really a scam!

This plugin is exactly what I was looking for, and it worked pretty well for several months, however a recent update caused it to stop working. I've been trying to get support for over 5 weeks with multiple tickets, Facebook messages, and direct emails. I've received one response confirming that the plugin was not working correctly and no response since then. I've had the same types of issues getting support in the past with this plugin/company.

I like the product. It was well developed but the support is literally nonexistent.

I sent a message in on January 06, 2019 15:49. No response.

Followed up January 09, 2019 12:42. No response.

Followed up January 14, 2019 10:46. No response.

Followed up February 11, 2019 22:16. No response. Lmao. Is this for real?

I'm on the recurring $19/month plan that supposedly offers "premium support". To add insult to injury, they posted on facebook Jan 29 this glowing review "Super easy to use, inclusive, intuitive, and incredibly supportive with quick turnaround to queries. -Christian"

I'm not sure what plan Christian is on but he must be paying $1000s/month for "quick turnaround on queries"

I offer support / advice to online merchants, most who have some sort of "store locator". I'm so happy I found Mapify - for both Wordpress and Shopify. It's powerful, easy for my clients to use and it's beautiful.

We had purchased the ultimate license months ago for $150/year. Now we starting seeing monthly charges of $50/mo for the same. We also had purchased single-use licenses in the past which we're also getting charged $20 monthly. The product has stopped working. The owner has responded publicly on Code Canyon that the issue was fixed, but it never was. There have been no responses to multiple tickets from the owner; for neither the billing issue nor the functionality.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid at all costs.

Subscribed for the product for a one-year rate, suddenly without any notice I've been billed montly! Even before the end of my yearly subscription... Just noticed several month after.

I had resubscribed for the product for a one-year rate, but several months later realized that I was being billed monthly. Once this was brought to the attention of the proprietor the problem was corrected and I was refunded.

Our software is $19 a month, and $39/month for the developer's version, and this issue has been resolved on your account. As you mentioned in your emails, you mistakenly received the developer model, which was indeed $49/month at the time (it has since been reduced to $39/month). We have removed you from our system and issued the refunds as needed and apologize for the inconvenience.

Kept trying and only got an email or two about things being busy or difficult in their offices. Weeks of non support. Now trying to get our client a refund.

MapifyPro Word Press Plugin Almost No Support

Currently 4 support tickets in, some as old as 7 days. Have only received an email apology for being out of the office. The plugin has great promise, but a couple of key features aren't working for us and we're kind of stunned that despite the tickets, emails, Facebook messaging, not getting responses.

Response time to questions / support is days to NEVER!
When I asked Josh about that he said he was well aware of his reputation and was switching to a recurring priced support so he could hire staff. He completely missed that fact that everyone who already bought the product already "paid" for this support yet almost none exists. In effect he is taking money and not supplying the service / support promised. Always an excuse always someone else fault.

Reviews going back more than 3 years support this review.
If you can't use this product without support then Do Not Buy it because support is an unfulfilled promise.:(

BTW- Beware of false positive reviews involving support. Reviews like "support has been snappy" and "support for MapifyPro has been awesome" are highly suspect both being the VERY rare positives and both being written the same day.

Support was not guaranteed via our previous plans, and this is covered in the terms of purchase. Also, contrary to your comments, ALL reviews on our site are 100% un-altered and from real customers.

Our new monthly model, which is clearly laid out in the purchase process, is indeed meant to solve the issue of poor support in the past, and we have indeed upped our game in this regard and new reviews reflect this. We apologize for your inconvenience but assure you these items have been resolved or were not wholly true in the first place.

Purchased MapifyPro from PaperTelevision LLC but it was not available for immediate download - Given I was working on a specific project with a deadline, I needed the software then and there which usually isn't an unrealistic expectation with 99.9% of other software vendors in the world providing immediate access to purchases (or at least the dozens of vendors I've dealt with in my day to day business operations) and also, given we're in the age of the internet!
Sent emails requesting the software ASAP as they had happily taken my money but not delivered the product and I was working to a deadline - Finally got a response which said "sorry we made you wait a whole hour" - Completely minimising my concerns and treating me like I was completely unfounded, unwarranted and unreasonable with my issues and concerns.

I responded by saying - I don't really want to deal with a company that has that sort of attitude with their customers, please refund my purchase. To which they replied - Fine, i'll look into a refund - "we don't want you as a customer either"!

Great! Or so I thought - It has been over 2 weeks and still no refund and I have written them 7 times asking for my refund or at least a status update and they have not responded once - they have completely ignored me. - can't get a response out of them and can't get my money back.

Avoid this company - if you're not happy with their service, they just say "we don't want you as a customer and then ignore you" - That's fine, I don't really want to have to deal with them ever again either, but you don't get to also keep my money and not provide feedback or support!

Just $#*!ty customer service and clearly $#*!ty moral ethics.

Service: When they don't want to deal with you, they just ignore and dont reply
Returns: Even though they say "Refund available" and agree - they don't actually follow through

We replied to you within 24 hours OVER THE WEEKEND. You had access to your files within this 24 hours, on a Sunday, to which you simply continued to complain until we ultimately provided a full refund. As with all software, sometimes their are conflicts, but you did not allow us to address them in a constructive manner, and yet we still provided a full refund. The "We don't want you as a customer" is not accurate though we did mention that cursing at us from the get go, and being irate, is against our purchase agreement. Our staff is not simply a doormat for your unprofessional manner.

MapifyPro offers an insane amount of features. There's a bit of a learning curve since there is a lot to sort through, but they provide sufficient documentation and support has been snappy
