Everything is good quality and fits well! Came on delivery with in a reasonable amount of time and I'm happy
I have never had a more difficult experience ordering something off of the internet. I have made contact several times with no real help whatsoever. If I didn't like the style and concept and it wasn't exactly what I was looking for I probably would have abandoned my search long ago. But I'm hoping if all works out I can order some more and sports jackets for myself.
Been a loyal customer since 2019… I buy at least 3 pairs of leather pants a year if not more on top of leather jackets etc…. Got a pair in the mail that didn't fit at all and it's a pretty big shame to say they didn't send me another pair to replace their mistake… I was left with a $300 dollar pair of pants that now sit there.
They didn’t help me a loyal customer
Love their products.
I use them for my shows across the globe
This was the third pair I've bought from this company. The first pair fit really well after a few washes. The second pair was a different denim. They didn't shrink much at all and were a little long and loose in the seat. Thinking I had the measurements figured out, I tweaked my profile and ordered a third pair. They actually came in baggier in the seat (plenty of room for an adult diaper if needed) and two full inches too long. I sent a photo with a measuring tape showing that the length was a full 2 inches longer than I had ordered. They won't take the jeans back and give me a refund. They want me to take a complete photo array showing every measurement and then they will make me a new pair for half price. They sent me a defective product and want me to pay an additional 50% for a replacement. What if the replacement is bad? Another 50%? 25%? I tried this company because I'm hard to fit. I'm 5'3" tall and 115 pounds. Two inches in length is a lot on my frame. I'm sure they can make a great pair of jeans. Just be forewarned. If they screw up, the customer pays the price.

They claimed that my shipment was destroyed by Customs because they did not charge the duty at the time of purchase. Despite paying extra for the Guarantee fit I am out the money and no clothes. I tried to communicate with customer service but it is non-existent. They now say the clothes eventually show up, but no explanation about the earlier claim...
Tip for consumers:

Jeans were too big, stretchy instead of 100% cotton. Enough space in the butt to carry an extra person. Also found 2 live cockroaches in the bag. Their answer. Send us pictures, measure again, pictures again, then: Customer is wrong, would you like a 30% off your next order. Eh, NO! My dad's jeans actually fit me better than what they consider right. I am not going to spend another 150$ with that company. I suggest you don't trust them either. Make your own jeans sounds great in theory, in practice worst business and customer service I have ever dealt with.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t trust the hype. Don’t, really don’t. Unless you want to donate money to them and get an unwearable piece of denim in exchange.

I ordered jeans per their detailed measuring instructions on their website only to have them show up skin tight, their website says "if you are not satisfied with the fit, simply let us know and we'll give you a free remake" good luck with that, they wont "remake" anything, if they don't fit, you are out $100 + bucks, end of story. Dont buy from this company, you will be sorry
Jeans arrived and are terrible, way too big around waist and legs, clearly the custom measurements are not used. Complained and was asked to send pictures which I did alongside pictures of jeans that fit well. Heard nothing back so followed up with Dwayne again only to be asked for pictures again. Save your money but if you're brave, save the measurements you submit so you can check them. Very poor product in terms of fit, not custom otherwise they would fit, appalling aftercare service. Avoid.
Dont do it... Very confusing to navigate. I thought the site said money back guarantee but read closely its only for about 6 of their jeans. There rest you are on your own. Paid 110 for capri pants when they were supposed to be jeans. Took about 16 emails to find out they were unrefundable. They kept stating their site explains all this but unless you are a professional seamstress this is a risk.
Marla
MakeYourOwnJeans completely ignored one of the critical measurements: the rear rise. I specified 11 inches, they sewed the jeans with a 14-inch rear rise. As a result, the jeans don't fit at all. In my instructions I was very clear that the rise I qsked for should NOT be adjusted. They simply ignored my instructions! So far they haven't responded to my complaint.
I believed they would make the jeans to my measurements.
HAD they been made correctly, the jeans would have been just what I wanted. As it is they're useless to me.
Used to love this company and bought over 20 pair of jeans between 2014 and 2019. Then next pair I ordered were sent completely off my measurements. No phone number so e-mailed them pictures showing how far the measurements were off with a tape measurer.
They played a game with me turning down my requests for a replacement pair over and over, but I did not give up. Finally I wrote them that I had disputed the charge on my Visa and now needed a refund instead of a return because it was SIX months after my original order and I needed them and finally had to buy them from another source. When Visa contacted them, they tried offering the replacement jeans finally, but I provided my bank with copies of over 30 emails evidence of their games - including the one at the end explaining why I now needed a replacement. Needless to say, my bank was taken back with all the evidence and I won and got my money back.
The saddest thing is not all the stress, time, energy and frustration from this, but the fact that I lost my wonderful jean source. I can no longer trust them. The only similar company advertising on the web is also in China and there is reason to believe from their website that it may be the same company using a different name.
I will wait for a custom jean company to open in the US with a published phone number. Then I will be delighted to custom order my jeans again. If you order jeans and they make them to your measurements, consider yourself lucky. But know that, should they mess them up, they will play games with you rather than replace the jeans.

Jeans I cannot wear
Absolutely zero customer service. My jeans arrived and don't fit and there "guarantee" is worthless, all you will get is the run around. One of the worst online experiences i have ever had.
I ordered my standard size which I purchase for all of my pants and when these "custom" and supposedly superior jeans showed up I could not even get them over my hips. Again, nothing fancy here but just way off... day yourself a favour and buy pants you can try on in the store and not these garbage jeans. Really poor quality!
Very disappointed with the product, not what I ordered at all. Jeans were not boot cut but just plain, straight and shapeless denim trousers.
FIt was way off. Jeans seemed ok otherwise. Their "fit guarantee" is all over their website but actually only applies to a few of their products. They sent me 7 emails, either asking for more information or telling me that I was measuring incorrectly- i used their instructions.
Clearly they will never refund me. They offered to remake a pair at about 30% discount. So great, likely end up with 2 pairs of jeans i cant wear for over $120 out of pocket.
Some people have had good results, others seem to have shared my experience.
I ordered a pair of black jeans and I got blue. I sent them a picture of them with a black t-shirt next to them.
They said my jeans were black and would not rectify the problem.
Find a different company!
People need to understand that if you're copying a pair of designer jeans that you need to take every measurement exactly. Because if you just give length and waist that's all you'll get. Simple straight legged jeans with no flair or curves.
You will never get a pair of perfect jeans from this place. They just don't understand the concept of designer jeans. You'll end up with straight leg boxy jeans. These jeans are made somewhere in a sweatshop in India.... have you ever seen a Indian dude with cool jeans....lol, Nope.
I did it on a whim! Will never waste my money on this again.

Quick and easy, I haven't received my order yet so I can't comment on the quality of the work.
I was excited. An optimist by nature, now 80 bucks broker... lol. I didn't read the return policy, even if they mess up, which they did, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping so they can correct THEIR mistake. *face palm* oh if I had a time machine... I do not recommend ordering from ANY online custom site based in India with a horrible customer service reputation! So does anyone want to buy a pair of hideous mom jeans. That seems like an oxymoron. In all seriousness, they made the waist 2 inches smaller. I can't button them. I'm going to take them to my tailor and see if they can add the 2 inches, and then I am turning them into a denim skirt. Making lemonade. Or Denimade. Don't waste your money. American Eagle, Top shop, Asos even Mango have very reasonable prices and great jeans with excellent return policies. Please don't give another DIME to these bad business people. I wonder if all of the good reviews are paid for or fake... I want to be mad... I am... but I am a big girl... I took a chance and it didn't work out. Buyer beware!
The process is painful and you will have to at least 3 times before you get a fit that suits you. You also won't get a refund for anything, as you specified the measurements.
Rather go down to your local tailor pay triple the price - at least you will get something that fits and you can return it if it doesn't.
The jeans material here is like some kind of fake jean material I have never seen in my life. I will not wear these. It also has a strong chemical smell.
I tried ordering some made to measure jeans from iTailor next and they were real jean material at least and much better, however the top button popped off the jeans after a while, so still lacking in quality.
I think this same company makes leather clothing as well and I have no idea if that is any good, but if all their jeans are like this they should shut down the jeans business and focus on the leather.
They just decided my measurements were wrong. No apologies, no attempt to fix. This site is a waste of your time and money. Avoid.
Sent me the wrong jean color, it smelled like a sewer, had animal hair on it. Was polite to the sales rep, got horrible, dismissive attitude. Spent a month trying to get her to see it was incorrect. Finally had to create a photoshop color code to prove to her they screwed it up. FINALLY, she agreed to return and redo. I had to pay to send back. The second pair shows up: smell fine, still off color, yellow marker all inside the jeans and bled everywhere. Impossible "quality control" could miss that unless it was intentional or there really is no quality control. I am beginning the return process to see if I can get my money back before I send these back. Horrible experience with a company.
Like so many reviewers, my order was wrong and the story about measurements for stretch fabric is just unbelievable. At least 2 sizes too small? Seriously. The bottom half of both pants was fine but the top section was way too small. A waste of time and money.
Isn't the entire point of "make your own jeans" that they make them to the measurements you send? So why, when they don't make them correctly, do they have the nerve to tell me, in these words, "we did nothing wrong". If the policy is "we only remake if we are off by more than 10 percent, for example, then say that. But don't pretend like you guarantee the jeans will be made exactly as your clients ask. My jeans were too long. Wash them, they said. Except I did wash and dry 3 times and they were still too long. Take them to a seamstress, they said. Wait. What? Didn't I just pay you to make them the length I asked for? The knee is too big. They say, if there are specific dimensions you are concerned about, you should have made a note with your order. Well, except your site says tell us your measurements and we'll make your jeans exactly that way. Never doing business with makeyourownjeans.com again.
