LuckyScent

Bought two samples: one of Burlington 1819 by Roja Dove, and one of Tales from Zanzibar by Memoirs of a Perfume Collector. Both smell authentic and wonderful. I haven't found these niche fragrances anywhere else to try them. Shipped fast and without problems both times.

Luckyscent is one of the most respected niche retailers out there. I have purchased from them many times and have received literally hundreds of samples from them over the years. I find many of these reviews suspect. I have not received ONE "rancid" sample from Luckyscent EVER and someone claiming they received 30 rancid samples is just not being truthful. That's ridiculous. And they DO NOT sell fakes! Luckyscent is like the Neiman Marcus of niche perfume. It's like claiming NM sells fakes it just sounds silly. I feel like some of these reviews must be from a competitor trying to scare people away from their competition, I can't figure out any other reason for such outlandish comments. And no, I do not work for Luckyscent, I'm a long time customer. I started buying from them around 15 years ago.

As far as the samples, yes, they are dab ons, not sprays, and they are small (. 7 ml each) but this is clearly stated on the website along with photos. It's not their fault if someone doesn't read the info on their site. Also, their prices are much less than larger spray samples which is what many prefer. Some of their samples are only $4 while others charge $15 and that adds up. Luckyscent samples are for those who truly want to sample and not buy "decants".

I have had nothing but positive experiences and Franco has always been exceptional. Some people just can't be pleased.

A freiend of mine made me a gift. He bought some perfums. Oh, that smell... Th edelivery was made on time, so I got it as planned on Christmas.

Ive been using luckyscent for about 2 yrs. Because I am able to order samples first i can try out different perfume before ordering a full bottle. I have never been disappointed with my selections. Sometimes i am not so happy with the samples but thats why they provide them so you don't end up spending a lot of money on a particular perfume that may not agree with your body chemistry. I trust them to send out the real thing. BTW Amazon is the worst place to buy perfume. You never know what you are getting and most of the perfume is watered down

I've been searching for the perfume "Red Musc" by Mad et Len, but they were out so I chose "Blue in Musc", a fragrance I wasn't familiar with. I talked to the customer service and they were so polite, and understand during this COVID-19 crisis. I definitely support them.

I made a few purchases here, mostly for my girlfriend and mom. The delivery was made on time, and I also received some samples.

LuckyScent is excellent for buying perfumes. I am its regular customer and quality is best. Price is affordable. Smell is best. Collection is huge with wide variety. Happy customer. Recommended to friends.

Made my first purchase from this company last week and was highly pleased! Shipped fast and I love that they give you several free samples that you get to choose with your order! While the samples are small, they are FREE, so how can you really complain? Will be buying from them again in the future.

They're the real deal. The store is lovely and their staffs are extremely knowledgeable. They are legit and great. They have fair return policy.

*DISCLAIMER - I am not affiliated with Luckyscent/Scent Bar in ANY way, my review is my own and I was not incentivized to post this* It frustrates me when I see things like "fake bottle because it doesn't last" because, guess what? Even houses like PDM do reformulations. Like dropping their oil content. Check the bottom of the bottles, the alcohol was increased years ago. That is not the fault of LuckyScent! Their website clearly shows everything they offer, including authenticity. Their samples are clearly pictured in dabbers, not sprayers! You get 4 to 6 free with each order. Don't complain when it's something that was there for you to know ahead of time.

I've spent a lot of money with this company and their CS has always been nothing but nice and personable and gone above and beyond for me. Alex and Andrea are just gems of people!

The fact that they offer anything on return for an open bottle is pretty much unheard of. My advice? Don't blind buy. If you tried something years ago, try it again. Also, keep in mind those testers in dept stores sit there for who knows how long who knows what batch it came from, and the bottle your getting is fresh and new. That can change the scent.

I had a bottle that came direct from Amouage that I immediately opened and sprayed and smelled almost like nothing. It was a legit bottle, obv. I let it "settle" and it's exactly what it should be. If it can happen direct from supplier it can with a vendor/retailer. You have to keep in mind the heat and travel along with everything above I just stated. Some perfumes and colognes are volatile.

And don't put them in the same catagory as Strawberry, Fragrancenet, FragranceX those are GREY MARKET dealers. You don't see them listed as legit stockists on sites like you do Luckyscent. Wow, the negative reviews here are utterly ridiculous! Really? Blaming the company when USPS loses your package or when you don't like the scent of the samples you ordered? I've made several orders from Lucky Scent over the past few years, and I couldn't be more pleased. They always ship same or next business day, the products are perfect, and they have excellent customer service. Of course the samples are decanted- it specifically says so on their website! Many of these niche perfumes are made in small batches, and they don't produce commercial samples to give out to customers. Yes, I haven't always liked the samples I ordered, but that's why you spend a few bucks and get samples. Sheesh, these aren't Calvin Klein or Britney Spears perfumes. Anyway, one of my packages was lost in the mail- clearly USPS's fault, by the way, as Lucky Scent always ships with a tracking number- and Lucky Scent customer service immediately replaced the package for me. I've ordered a couple full-size bottles from them as well. They are one of the best niche perfume retailers in the US, if not the best.

What a great site! I bought several samples, and thank goodness they were offered. this first round I did not like even one of the scents, but I only spent $12 and am happy it was not more! With the next round of samples, I did find a few scents that I liked and I will keep going back. I do have a few signature scents (if you have more than one is it a signature?) but I do love to try new things, so this site is perfect. Great selection, things I haven't even seen in a store, and samples!

I was referred to the LuckyScent site by a friend. I liked it from the very beginning. So first time I went on the site and browsed around I quickly noticed an awesome deal regarding free samples with a purchase of a certain amount. I decided to purchase several candles. I easily found candles I loved. Their candles are excellent quality and quite unique as well. They have all sorts of character inspired candles - such as Benjamin Franklin or Napoleon. I found that the candles I purchased were slow burning which sort of made the price seem less expensive - considering the quality of them. I enjoyed receiving my free samples as well.

I could spend all day going down the list of samples and trying to decide which ones I want to purchase on Luckyscent.com. There are so many choices to choose from. To help you narrow down the search they have a list of the top sellers. I personally love candles and have ordered a couple on this site that are now my favorites of all candles I've ever bought. "The Pink Room. UK" and "Solange" smell absolutely amazing. I recommend this site to anyone who is looking to experiment a little bit with fragrances and find what they like best without having to spend a fortune to do so.

I was on the search for a Holy Grail fragrance that I would want to wear all the time, but now that I have done a lot of research, I think I'm more interested in finding a few different scents to wear at different times of the year. What smells good in the heat of summer here isn't necessarily something I would want to wear when the weather gets cooler. I've only ordered samples from Lucky Scent so far, but I've been pretty happy. I tried Narcotic Venus by Nasomatto. I really liked that one. This time around I ordered samples of Jubilation XXV by Amouage, 1270 and Terre de Sarment both by Frapin, Escentric 01 by Escentric Molecules, A la Figue! by Satellite, Musc Maori, L'eau de Circe, and Psychotrope all by Parfumerie Generale. The last three are wild cards, I'm not sure if I will like them at all, but it's fun to sniff something new. Loving this site! I'll be ordering my first full size bottle soon!

Lucky Scent is a fantastic website. It's especially helpful for someone buying hard to find perfumes online. The descriptions are scrumptious, it's almost like buying wine. The Top Picks page is a nice place to start in general. Most of the perfumes have reviews which is also very helpful and gives a more practical depiction of the scent. If you fear commitment to a bottle, you can just order samples. I know the types of scent I like and have had very good luck choosing perfumes based on the descriptions and reviews. They also send free samples with orders. It's awesome.

THEY SEEM TO HAVE ALL KINDS OF PERFUMES YOU CAN'T REALLY FIND ANYWHERE ELSE. SO I ORDERED HER PERFUME AND GOT A COUPLE SAMPLES OF COLOGNE FOR MYSELF WHILE I WAS AT IT. GREAT SITE.

Have ordered multiple times from this company and have also shopped at their brick and mortars stores a few times. The customer service is always phenomenal and they always ship in a timely manner with care. The products have always been perfectly wrapped and in good quality. Love this company and will continue to purchase from them!
