Website says the shirt is "Cotton Blend". NO. The shirts label is 95% Polyester 5% Spandex. Refund policy is clear, they offer full refund. They do not follow through. 100% run-around. They are slow to reply to email, but then they suggest you keep it and gift it to someone. They finally offered a 20% discount on a "next purchase". There will be NO next purchase.
Just DON'T.
t Shirt
I recently (Dec) ordered a T-shirt from Loreralwear. I used their size table and measured very carefully, but I cringed when I found out they were a Chinese company hiding behind a US address after ordering. The T-shirt did arrive and is of reasonable quality. It is still not the best, BUT the size was wrong. It was too small. I checked the measurements against their size chart, and it was 2 inches too small in every way. So I contacted them to ask for a replacement and proved the problem with photos. The answer I received was that they would replace the item if I paid another $14 to cover shipping, and I should sell the one I have. I told them no; I wanted to return the shirt and have a replacement that fits. They repeated that it would be sent if I paid a further $14.
I demanded that they either replace or refund me and accept the shirt I had back. They gave me a sob story about shipping, import and customs fees. I then asked for a full refund. They said they would refund me $20, but keep $8.98 to cover shipping. So, I reported a dispute with PayPal. That really got their attention, and they asked me to stop the dispute, said they would give me a full refund if I stopped the dispute, and claimed that they could not give me a refund until I did, as the account was frozen. They have repeated this a further two times in response to me saying that I would not, and all they had to do was issue the refund, and then I would stop the dispute. They answered that a dispute was very costly to them and repeated the claim that they would refund me 24 hours after I stopped the dispute. I escalated the issue with PayPal with extra proof of correspondence.
Never, ever stop a PP dispute. This is a ploy, and I knew it. Once stopped, you can't restart it. Hopefully, it will see PP part ways with them, but if I know these types of companies, It will only be a minor setback as they are operating under lots of different names with other sites. They are as opaque as you can get. Hiding in China behind a US address and using fake user rights, etc.
Update: After 2 months, I got my money back via PayPal dispute.
I've since found this site talking about this company. Beware buyer!...
