“My second purchase went much better than the first one last yr”

Eileen B.

I bought my 2nd auction and like it very much. This time I went to location and picked up the stuff, and the people working in loading dock area were very nice. I am happy to say that I will buy from Liquidation.com again. This auction consisted of Lowe's returned items. Most items are in good condition and the few that products that are broken can be expected when buying store returns. Now to reflect on last yr's auction - I think it is important for people to know that I strongly believe that my first auction (huge, 8 pallets), still deserves the 1star rating that I gave it because so much of it was missing. In comparison, this current auction was just 2 pallets and I received everything, which is why it gets a 4star rating. I like the surprise that comes from buying miscellaneous store returns and shelf-pulls, so I will most likely buy more from this site going forward knowing that it is fun but not necessarily an honest site.

I won an auction on 2024-02-12 for 10K$. They state as: TRUCKLOAD Appliances - iRobot Roomba, Miele, Shark, Neato, Ecovacs, Dyson - MSRP $114,474. Condition:Returns All packages we received are salvaged, none of them working, they don't look like return items, most likely picked up from the garbage recycle center.

Do not buy from this company. They fraudulently advertise products and you do not receive what you order. Then they will only offer a 20% refund.

Don't purchase from seller calIed unboxedtreasures from WA! I purchased a box of health and beauty products a month ago from a different seller that I made decent money on reselling and had a good experience. I recently won a auction for "Lot of 15 Packages- High End Boutique Mixed Returns Merchandise" I knew it was 90% scam but was curious and purchased anyway. The packages in the box were clearly newly packaged and had never seen the inside of a Usps truck or the outside world! Haha and all had the same ups label same tracking...this was on Usps owned priority mail marked packages y'all. The seller tried marking with sharpie and ripping some of the tracking labels but not enough to cover his scamming. He purchased cheap items most likely From thrift store. This seller has a few of these auctions ending every couple days that I've seen for the last few weeks. How would someone in Washington end up with 100s of packages from Beverly Hills boutique. Lol I hope this helps someone from being scammed!

Bought 52 video players from Sony, 7 were to be dvd players the rest blu ray players, I got 30 dvd players, they said to bad for me, should have checked boxes at their warehouse. I thought they were honest?, How do we know you did not switch them out? Ya i have 30 sony dvd players kicking around the house. Many blu ray player boxes had dvd players in them?

When picking up merchandise from our warehouse, to avoid shipping fees, all merchandise needs to be checked before leaving our property in order to file a dispute. When merchandise is shipped, we give buyers 2 days to check all the merchandise to file a dispute. We're sorry to hear the merchandise you received did not match the seller manifest. Since these auctions are assembled by the seller, we rely heavily on the manifests when listed online. Please feel free to give us a call at (800) 498-1909 and ask for our disputes team as they may be able to work with you on this recent transaction.

You get what you pay for. I have dealt with them and 75% positive, but remember there business is selling for someone else. Don't buy unless you can lose. Last load I bought from them the load classified as New. When it was received I got all recalled defective junk. No money recovered never bought from liquidation.com again

Hi Arthur, if the lot stated it was in "NEW" condition on the site, but what you received wasn't new, then we want to make this right. Could you message us on here the Transaction ID so we can investigate on your behalf and get this sorted? Thanks!

I did not read the reviews here until after I had already purchased a lot of makeup from Liquidation.com. When the boxes arrived, I opened them immediately for fear of what they would contain. I ordered 1200 pieces of shelf pull makeup. The makeup was in good condition. However, most of it was either trial sizes or lip liners which are very hard to sell online. Fortunately, I also run a thrift store, so I am currently selling them there. I do expect to make a profit, but nowhere near what I was hoping. Liquidations are always a risk to buy. However, first-time buyers should always buy small amounts until they are aware of what type of items they are going to receive from the seller.

I used this site about 8 years ago. Everything was fine and went perfectly. Lately I've been looking at them and it just appears to me that I just don't think that a lot of their stuff is actually liquidation stuff. I think that manufacturers are just purposely making lots to specifically call it a liquidation but it will never run dry, that is based on certain items selling on there. Some of it is actual liquidation and a person could do well selling items bought on there but you have to get the right price including fees and you have to have the right kind of store. I've just seen some lots that I think were soley created to be liquidations and that my friend is not a liquidation. That merchandise was never in a store or never intended to be in a store. Straight from factory to liquidation.com (just my opinion.) If you see a good bargin on there, search the web for the same thing. I found some sites with the same deals on the same number of items or better (that is some of the stuff I was talking about -since its not a real liquidation, others are selling it too.) I will still look on there but with a careful eye. I myself cant use returned merchandise or pallets of stuff that look all mangled or a pallet of 5 different items but many can.

Roll the dice with this place. Overall if you are very careful and never put all your eggs in one nest, you will come out ahead. I have plenty of really good buys, and some buys that were based on misleading information, and sometimes just outright lies. When filing disputes you either get a fraction of your money back, or you get stonewalled and never see a penny. Last dispute was for 27 spinmop returns, but turns out it was only buckets and no spinmops. My claim was denied because I did not discover the problem until I left their site. I was told if I filed a claim through paypal they will close my account. Bottom line is they are crooked from sellers to management, but I keep buying because I still make money on 3 out 4 auctions. Oh, and if they agree to a claim at the warehouse, keep a copy of the claim. I trusted them and later they claimed it never happened. Shop at your own risk

The customer service is really almost non-existant. Their prices are great but actually getting the order to go through can sometimes be confusing, and it doesn't help that it's almost impossible to get a reply from customer service
