Love them. Bristol chocolate and Bristol linen
May 29, 2023

First time building cabinets, I looked into a ton of places, I learned about all the different components, wood, hardware.
Bristol chocolate had it all. Soft close drawers, all plywood, solid all around.
I only had doors as the base units in my previous ugly, outdated mdf cabinets.
Now, all the bases are soft close drawers, dove takl.
Doesn't get any better I don't think.

I went against the trendy white shaker, and went with a traditional color, chocolate. Why? Because of its features. The sturdyness and mainly the cost as it is on clearance. Right now I couldn't build the kitchen I needed since most things are now out of stock. But I would have saved a ton more $$ anyways.
My favorite cabinets are hands down the glass ones. Because I now decorate for every season and ocassion. My kitchen looks cheerful and I can't wait to put all my Christmas decorations even though we are in may:-)

We ordered about 20 pieces plus all the trimmings, it does require a ton of planning, thinking, re planning, re thinking. Because shipping is expensive if you don't need the minimum purchase.
So, double check every thing you need, don't forget anything.
I placed a second order later on, because we liked it so much we ended up doing a "coffee station" but is a multi purpose area.
We used 42" plus shakers on top, since the ceiling is higher on that side of the house.

For my kitchen cabinets I had 30" before and I measured the shortest side of the ceiling and it was just more than 12" so when I ordered my cabinets I went with 42"
And i love it! And if I had more space I would had added more glass shakers.
I love the glass units!

I never considered glass because they are so expensive! But not here, my cabinets were cheaper, because of the non trendy color.

We still need to add the backsplash. Today we got out quartzite countertops installed.
By saving money on my cabinets I put it towards nicer countertops, which I stilll shopped around and paid $4200 installed. I went to a stone boneyard and got a local fabricator.
So my entire kitchen was 15k if I include the new small appliances.

I used various apps to make sure I had the right measurements, and the right specs. I could have done my design without it.

My kitchen island is Bristol linen, I regret it, since the wood in the middle of the door is not as solid as the chocolate one. Still a nice cabinet, but the cheaper chocolate cabinet was better made.

Pay attention at those samples.
The only bad thing is the freight company they used, they were delayed, rude, a nightmare.
Reached out to LillyAnn cabinets and Cindy made it right and she was very nice about it.
Next order I had placed they sent me a better company. We still have to install the crown molding, and the light rail molding.
As well as the toe kick, etc. but I wanted to share!

Continuous disappointment
June 1, 2021

We ordered our kitchen in April 2021. They arrived faster than they thought. The first box we opened had several broken pieces so we contacted our sales person and she advised for us to wait until we had opened ALL the boxes and examined everyone of our 28 boxes before we made a claim (first clue). Our timeline and available space to assemble cabinets did not allow us the ability to do this. We opened the next box and again broken pieces. We chose to repair them so we could get the project moving - again because of our timeline! Apparently when you order a "lazy Susan it is NOT a lazy Susan... it's a corner cabinet with shelves that you are required to purchase a lazy Susan insert separately. When I placed the order for the lazy Susan I was told it would be here in two days, a week later when I I called, he told me they were on back order and it would be few more days. As we continued to open boxes and assemble we realized we had mix match insides, (we didn't even know there were two types available) - both birch and whitewash. We called, they promised to deliver the replacements assembled. Next day delivered unassembled and we sent them back. Second day, delivered wrong cabinets assembled. I was contacted by someone the next morning and told they would arrive between 6:30-7pm... at 6:15 I noticed two missed calls from them (no voicemails left), I messaged the number and he requested that I take a picture of insides because he was "doing some research into my cabinets". Then told me they would not be coming tonight because he realized they were wrong again (this was 10 minutes before they were supposed to be here). I contacted our sales rep Lindsay through email and never heard back from her. The next day I waited until noon to contact her and she asked if I had been contacted my anyone... NO, not from anyone. She sent my call to the owner Mr. Decker and I left a very detailed message asking him to please call me. I have still not heard from him - or even from Lindsay to check in on things. We were delivered the correct cabinets- and after five tries they were correct. Our experience has been very unpleasant. We have not once been asked how they could make this right or what they could do to help this situation. We had previously done an IKEA at another home and the experience could not have been better, also half the price and absolutely no damages. Our customer service was poor and would not feel comfortable recommending Lily Ann to anyone unfortunately.
