Recently purchased two articles described as T-shirts but they are so much nicer and more versatile than the description. I like both very much and can dress them up with nice slacks or emphasize the casual in jeans. The purchase process was easy, delivery on time, the small size perfect for my frame and the material very comfortable. These were my first buys from LightInTheBox but they will not be my last.

Ordered items specifically that were listed with 3 to 5 day delivery. Been waiting several days. The site, until this morning listed my order as "pending" and "processing." My order still has not shipped. But I do have an approximate delivery date of about 8 to 10 days from now. I, obviously? Have no idea about the quality of their items. But their shipping service is poor at best or down right dishonest.

I have ordered a number of different items and have generally been very pleased. It would be nice if the items descriptions provided information on what materials/fabrics are used. Also the delays from the time of order to when an item will be shipped should be provided. Currently all that is shown for status is "Processing" and you don't know if that means it will take one day, one week or one month.

But I think the variety of items and their quality have been excellent

UPDATE: Light in the Box reached out to me after my review posted. Their customer service rep was great and very helpful about rectifying my problem. I would not hesitate in ordering from them again!
I ordered an outfit for a wedding I'm officiating. I customized the fit to ensure it would be a perfect fit and has my measurements taken multiple times before ordering. I received the 3-piece outfit stuffed in a bag the size of a plastic grocery bag. Wrinkled doesn't begin to describe it. Plus (here's the important part) the pants are too big, the top is too small, and the outer jacket-like piece is snug.

I ordered men's medium size but they are not European size - trousers match description apart from sizing very small - not same as European.
Company have refunded in full ( following negative comments on site) so issue resolved fairly by them and as agreed.
Trousers were fine, delivered as expected but SIZING is an issue beware of this when ordering

Check, double check and check sizes again before ordering.

Received a jacket that was far from the ones displayed in the website.

After some obstacles trying to return the item, in which they offered options related to vouchers for future merchandise, I complained and did receive a full refund and they said I could keep the item, that if it is not for the fact that it is very expensive to ship it, compared to Amazon, I would had been more than delighted to return it back to them. Now, I need to find someone in need to give it away.

I leave the pictures still, because they must update them to reflect what they really sell. It is not a bad jacket, still nice, but not my style.

Tip for consumers:
They did a full refund, totally unexpected, but I leave 4 as the score, because the additonal steps I had to take, plust mismatch item, do not look good. They need to correct that.

I had complained in an earlier review of the poor customer service and the fact the company did not offer a 100% refund on a return. Well, I'm here to say that the company has responded to my complaints and has given me my full refund for a sweatshirt that I was not happy with. They were apologetic and conveyed to me that they were very concerned about customer satisfaction. So I now recommend buying products from this company if you so choose

I find it difficult ordering adult clothing because of the sizing differences. They do not offer width sizing on the shoes and boots. I have had better luck with children's sizing. You must also keep an eye out for their sales. I like to order several items at once and even though I put it in my basket when advertised I don't always submit the order that day and then miss out. Also regular shipping can take a few weeks.

If you are looking for clothing and products that are unique and stylish that won't break the bank, you've come to the right place. You won't find better deals for quality products. You'll score even bigger if you happen to catch one of their "lightning deals". There are times where the product picture doesn't fully match the product and sometimes the shipping can take a bit long. However, the customer service is very responsive and fair! Overall, I recommend shopping here.

If there was a way to give them no stars, I would. I ordered a dress and the way it was made was nothing like the picture and description. I contacted customer service for a refund, they agreed after multiple pictures and emails. I returned the dress as they requested to have the return come back to me 7 months later "refused". Im out over $100- on this purchase because they refuse to resolve this situation.
Update: Megha from customer service contacted me and they issued a full refund within 5 days of this review. Thank you Megha for resolving the situation quickly! I increased the stars due to her customer service in quickness and even though I had problems with what I ordered, the material used in making the dress was quality material and now I will order again.

Purchased tops that measured smaller than advertised by two inches. Requested a refund.
Received the refund without any problems. I was impressed although it was the manufactures error on sizing. Hopefully any other issues are handled in the same manner.
It would be helpful if the sizing was more accurate it would eliminate a lot of returns and frustration from customers. The items purchased never look like the model or pictures. Actual pictures would be very helpful before making a purchase.

So far most of my experiences have been really good. From the start, it took awhile to get ordered items shipped. Over recent weeks, I have noticed and improvement. One suggestion I would give is that before posting products for sale, make sure the sizes are posted or correct. Some products have no conversion charts and some have the same measurements for each size. For example, in women's clothing I will see Bust: 55 under Small, Medium, Large, XL, XXL. Etc.

You can see on LightintheBox that there are many beautiful dresses. Quality is good. Be very careful: LightintheBox considers ALL dresses to be 'custom fit' even if you just pick a size on their drop-down menu, so it is not returnable. If it fits, and the color is what you envisioned, you will be very happy with the purchase.

Tip for consumers:
Know that whatever you buy, you keep. Period.

Wig with grey and silver in description and pictures that matched that description shown on site. Received wig and top 1/3 of wig is solid black, lower 2/3 grey and silver. When ordering clothing, be sure to check your own measurements with those on the size chart. I found out that size charts are all over the place, so do NOT go by the US size equivalents (for example, US size 10 can be anywhere from a 34" bust to a 44" bust!). I didn't take the time, so one item I ordered was too big. However, the customer service people, especially Megha, were VERY helpful. The quality of items seems to be really good so far. When I laundered the "I'm still freezing" sweatshirt, there was no white fur residue messing up the laundry.

Two dresses I bought fit well and are of nice quality. One blouse has a few visible errors in sewing. Another fit too small (the model is smaller than me and wearing a much larger size- the look is what I liked), 2 solar powered outdoor lights (X-mas tree and looked like flowers) are having trouble generating energy. One product was damaged. It is important to be realistic about time as items come from China. They are efficient with gathering and shipping but it will take up to one month to get to Canada. Will shop again.

I ordered a short-sleeve t-shirt and a long-sleeve Men's Henley Shirt Tee Graphic Ship Henley Clothing. The long-sleeved shirt was suitable for me in size (L) (183/83), but the sleeves were a little too short for me. For a short-sleeved T-shirt, I estimated that I needed a size XL, but it was perhaps a bit too loose for me, and next I plan to order a size L. But both shirts are very comfortable to wear and time will tell how durable they are and how they hold their color.
