Recently purchased two articles described as T-shirts but they are so much nicer and more versatile than the description. I like both very much and can dress them up with nice slacks or emphasize the casual in jeans. The purchase process was easy, delivery on time, the small size perfect for my frame and the material very comfortable. These were my first buys from LightInTheBox but they will not be my last.
Ordered items specifically that were listed with 3 to 5 day delivery. Been waiting several days. The site, until this morning listed my order as "pending" and "processing." My order still has not shipped. But I do have an approximate delivery date of about 8 to 10 days from now. I, obviously? Have no idea about the quality of their items. But their shipping service is poor at best or down right dishonest.

Sizing is all over the map in spite of chart on website. Too bad, because some of their products caught my eye and I would have considered future purchases. Just too much trouble to deal with them.

Their sizing is crazy. I bought a t-shirt previously, size L, and swim in it. Ordered three tops, two L and one M, and the two L were snug and the M was unwearably small. With no functional return/exchange policy in place, I can't do business with them again.

I ordered cotton joggers tfor £37 that looked great on their website but received a very cheaply made polyester imitation. What a complete rip off. Disgraceful! UPDATE: I have now received a full refund an an apology, however this took up a great deal of my time.

And the metals are not regulated enough making you wonder how many byproduct metals like lead people are using - because, of course they are when it is a matter of using cheaper materials to take care of your family. I ordered 2 paintings (a set), they products I received had completely different colors than the advertised paintings. Moreover, one was different from the other, like made by 2 different people. I understand there may be a slight difference but what I received cannot be even hanged on the wall, instead of beige there is orange. Of course they refused to resend me new ones, as they should be.
Update: After a secondary complaint and publishing reviews, they returned me the money in full and apologized.

I needed a dress for my daughter's wedding. I ordered according to their sized chart the dress should have been a size 24, but received by measurements on the dress a size 16.
I have been emailing back-and-forth and gotten nothing but hassle hassle and no return address. As well, once I receive an authorization I will have to return the dress to China! The address label says New York on the package.
It is a beautiful dress. So sad I can't wear it.

I ordered XXL shirts and they are too small. That's never a problem for me. XXL always fits a little loose which is what I prefer. These shirts are tight! I asked for an exchanged and you would think I'm trying to return a car. They won't pay for return freight unless you PROVE the sizing is wrong. And even then, they want to reimbuse you for freight... maybe. Amazon? They send a call tag with no questions asked. I'll stick with them from now on.

The pictures on the website are rarely representative of the items you actually receive. I've ordered 5 dresses from this website and only 1 looks like the picture description really. The others are bad rip offs. I'm currently trying to get a refund for a particularly bad item that was quite expensive. My advice would be to use a more reputable provider. Don't waste your money on this website.

I bought 3 pairs of shoes and sadly 2 of them didn't fit. This company will not issue a full refund since products are "made to fit". They'll offer partial refund that is not worth it or rewards. Do not spend money here unless you're sure on what you're buying

Considering you are buying clothing sight unseen, it's ridiculous for them to require you to pay to return unsatisfactory items. I used thier measurment guide, and measured myself, to order pants. One styre in medium fit fine. The other fit was way too tight and too short. Beside they didn't look anything like the picture. Description said linen pants, they were some sort of cheap, stretchy material, not at all like linen. Did not have wide bell bottoms as pictured. But I probably would have cost more than they were worth to send them back. They offered me a whole.88 credit to just keep them. I won't buy any more if I can't expect a full guarantee of fit or quality.

Be careful. I item doesn't fit right or you don't like fabric you will have to pay overseas shipping rates to send back and that might be more than you paid for the item

Half of the clothes are too big or too small. All with the same size? Damage to items inside the Main shipping box were broken and just Throwing inside with NO concern. We are trying to send items back but what a nightmare. Absolutely no help even if they say so. Tain't my thoughts of ordering again.
Based on our experience, we would suggest spending a little more at a more reliable supplier, where you will get what you paid for.
Whilst their products are competitvely priced, service is a different thing.
Delivery was 5 days beyond the latest expected delivery date given, although, I have to accept that the carrier may have been at fault, however, with no information from Light in the Box, I will never know.
When we used the LED bulbs ordered, within 15 minutes of switching them on, they start to smoke.
Upon checking, 3 of the 6 bulbs showed signs of burning.
On 3 occasions we sent written details and photos to Light in the Box.
Initially, we asked for an explanation, but, following receipt of an unhelpful email, we resent and requested a refund.
3 days later, we got another email, explaining that they had not got the photos.
We sent it all again
7 days later... nothing.
Tip for consumers:
Don't, unless you are a gambler.
If what you buy works, you have a bit of a bargin
If it doesn't, there is little communication and your money is lost, irrespective of the claimed refund policy

Since discovering your store I have been amazed by the fashion forward styles of your clothing and the bargain basement prices. I've only come across a few assembly line mishaps. This order was one of those. The velour turtlenecks were a disaster. How they got past any level of inspection is beyond me.
Be careful not to churn out product that isn't worthy. The law of diminishing returns will eventually undermine your business.

Looks cheap till you check out. Shipping is exuberant and slow. Sizes vary sometimes its right sometimes it is not. Careful what you order the same product can be listed several times with different prices and description but is exactly the same. Customer Service is horrible their resolution forces you to take a small discount or ship it back which usually costs more then you spent on the order. Either way they Win you lose!

Great products, but if there is a problem with delivery, the customer service team will throw generic, irrelevant and unhelpful responses at you, seemingly without even reading the details of your query. If I pay extra for tracking on my delivery, I don't expect to then be told I need to contact the local post office myself when it is not delivered. I also don't expect to have to remind the team to update me after they have received a response. They're quick to take your money, but when it comes to actually EARNING it they don't want to know!

UPDATE: I told them I would write reviews and they didn't budge until this I published a few. Once my reviews went up they were all sorts of accommodating. They refunded me all my money pretty painlessly, even without requiring a full return of the broken equipment.
So my review will move from 1 star to 2 stars and I will advise anyone with a complaint to leave a review if they want fair treatment.
Light in the Box has a really extraordinarily horrible policy on returns. I strongly urge customers to shop elsewhere.
My experience: they wouldn't let me return two unopened LED lanterns because it was outside their 7-day return policy. I physically could not have returned them in that time frame because I was getting married out of state.
I hadn't yet opened them, but when they denied my request to return, I opened the boxes to try them out. Only one of the two lanterns worked at all. So now I have one unattractive lantern that's never worked and another crappy lantern that's just overpriced garbage and this company doesn't seem to care so long as they have my money. Stay away.
The dress is not as stunning as in the add. It has a different color- dull gray instead of shiny silver gray. The shape and material of the dress are not elegant, but rather drab. I was very disappointed and I would never order again. I don't know if I will ever wear this dress.

Item ordered on 4/9/20 to be delivered in 4-6 days finally arrived on May 28,20 after delay was reported to the Vendor, PayPal, and U.S. Postal Service. Seems no one could find the much needed tracking number, but could find the Order Number. This company insisted they shipped item to US so they were out of process of final delivery! Lesson learned - the first time -not to use this company

Poor quality expensive products, terrible return policy. You have to pay expensive international shipping to return items to China or they will only give you 10% refund or 20% coupon to use for buying other things which is nothing for the high price they charge for the products. I will never buy from them again. When they first started the pricing was good and quality of products were much better. Now you pay high price for bad products.

Terrible customer service. When other sites even sites like wish answers questions better than they do. When I first found them I immediately ordered six shirts and loved them. But the return policy and having to pay the shipment myself to send them back for a mistake that they have made in size is ridiculous
Especially when they won't even help you pick out the size when you send them your measurements. I like the stuff that I bought and had great deals but because of customer service I will not be purchasing from them anymore

I have ordered several times from them. Items ordered (toys, gadgets, etc.) are generally just fine, but most recently, I ordered clothing.
The sizing is fine, but the quality and material is just enough off that they aren't quite as pictured but they're close enough it's not a scam. They also only shipped half the items in my order and then I had to go through a lengthy and annoying review/return process that took at least 3 weeks to get the other half of my order.
Tl; dr: don't order clothing from this company.

Ordered 2 shirts for myself and 2 for gifts as they looked great on the site. Beware, pictures can be misleading on quality and sizing. I received today and would send back if shipping wasn't so incredibly high! Do not believe the shipping time it may say 5-7 and you pay more then turns to 13 and then it is weeks before they even process the order. I ordered april 22 a mothers day sale, their site is still saying one item not processed. And customer service is kinda rude.
