I've had mostly good experiences using Lifebooker. It has helped me find cool new hair salons, spas, etc. at a discount. On a few occasions, I've encountered some less than stellar places, which leads me to believe they don't check out the merchants before signing them on. When I did need to ask for a refund because I couldn't get an appointment using a Loot certificate, they put the money back in my account even though the 24-hour refund period had passed. Stay on the safe side and use Lifebooker to visit businesses you trust.
I have been paying $63 for my account for a long time and now all of a sudden they charged me $309 for the same exact service. I have emailed them several times and gotten no response. Stay clear of Booksy they will steal from you and then ghost your small business
I just had 2 fraudulent transactions on my credit card that I use with Booksy and NOWHERE ELSE. Contacted customer service and they denied that credit card information could be leaked through their platform. So based on the response from customer service, my takeaway is that they've been hacked by either an internal or external entity and they have no clue that's happened.
Took over a once top salon software company Versum and ruined it. Booksy is rude, greedy, and should be avoided. When we decided to leave version after their acquisition we have 3 months left. Once we asked to cancel they closed the account almost immediately and made excuses to no return the balance. If we hadn't already moved our data to a new software we'd been totally left high and dry.
Tip for consumers:
just run away as fast as you can. plenty of other salon software out there.

it's an online scheduling service.
The app messes up all the time it's almost impossible to talk to customer service they take forever to email you back about problems you may have better off using a free app than paying for this been using Booksy for the last six years and I'm fed up!
Booksy has been taking unauthorised amounts randomly off my bank account above the subscription fee. Don't even bother trying to get ahold of them as they ignore you and refuse to address any issues you have.
This company is absolute bull$#*! and unless you want your bank account to be empty without anything to show for it- don't get this stupid app
The merchant, in my back accesses my account with BOOKSY, change the reservation, the price agreed and deleted my own reservation of the day before. As a matter of fact, at the cash, I click the link I receive yesterday to confirm my reservation and price but the result was deleted and updated it by the merchant, without my consent.
How the merchant can have access to my personal informationBOOKSY account without my password?
Tip for consumers:
Don't use BOKKSY the merchant have access and can change or temper any of your personal information.
My online scheduling site was bought out by brooksey and it's been a disaster. Just when I think something is fixed there is a new issue and I have been getting the run around from customer service for over a month on a basic feature glitch. They offer way to many options and should pair it down and focus on quality.
I CAN'T believe people take out their frustration of salons or massage/nail parlors on Lifebooker! The saying "Don't shoot the messenger"? Well, in case you haven't noticed... It is NOT the website's fault if a business it's not doing their job. So, in this case. PLEASE, for all the hard work that gets fueled into an operation like LifeBooker, DO NOT shoot the middleman. Thank you.
Crappy booker can't eb=ven use due to glitch won't let users get code via other method but phone which, doesn't get sent!

I had no idea this company even existed until they charged me three times on my credit card, totalling over 300$. I tried writing them several times, they never answered. Can't find a phone number either. I have no idea how they got hold of my credit card number and I never preauthorized these charges. A total scam, stay away!
Tip for consumers:
Stay away from this fraudulent company!!

None, this site charged my credit card without my authorization. I never knew the company existed before the charges showed up on my statement. I tried contacting the company but they ignored me and charged me again. Master Card won't refund it because they say it's a pre-authorized charge. I authorized nothing!
I have gotten a couple good deals through this website, but I was scammed when I bought a home cleaning deal from First Choice Cleaning. No one ever came to the appt, and forget about a return phone call. Lost $80 and Lifebooker refused to refund it, even though they were endorsing a faulty product.
I would consider buying thru the site again if they remedied the situation, but so far no one has returned my phone calls or emails.
Despite the good deals I've gotten on hair cuts and a couple other services, I have a bitter taste in my mouth from this site; it only takes one bad apple...
What a PAIN. The site is so clunky that even after signing up, I was unable to actually confirm my appointment because it won't show where I am supposed to consent to a number of things, including personal data processing. In any case, I notified the person I was trying to do business with by calling to book an appointment. They said will now be looking at using a different platform because I was the second client to inform them of problems using Booksy to make an appointment. Honestly, to me, it looks like it is set up for hacking so you aren't sure if it is legit or not. I've attached screenshots. It doesn't matter if you click "Confirm" because you will keep getting the error message.
I had been with Genbook app for over 6 years, they were bought out by Booksy and it has been a nightmare, cannot access my client base or testimonials - so unprofessional and a scam! I am trying to cancel and I can't even do that. My clients can't even book sometimes it comes up error on the mobile.

Booksy bought out Genbook and it has been a nightmare since
After years of use my beloved Genbook calendar system was bought out by a marketing system Booksy. My longtime clients downloaded the Booksy app at my request but then Booksy failed to provide ease of use. The system would continuously buffer and never get to the point of granting a confirmation code. One client videotaped her attempt to book through Booksy and SIX minutes into the process it still hadn't gotten her credit card information. What NEW client would have stuck with it after twenty seconds of buffering much less six minutes? Then, customers showed me screenshots of a message they received "this business is no longer available" when ALL of my appointments were available. This led them to believe I had closed. That was the day I canceled Booksy. The cancellation process is a nightmare. I'm still not out of their business DESTROYING clutches.
They are just scammers. You subscribe for a month in 5 seconds. But you will not be told that it will be 2 months without the possibility of changing something. To unsubscribe, you need hundreds of letters, calls, and this is not a guarantee that they will let you go. I highly recommend these scammers.
Long time Genbook user, since 2009, Great service. Booksy acquire Genbook it's been a nightmare. Customer Service seems nice enough that's all they are is Customer Service. They can only do as they're told.
I've had multiple phone calls. Multiple chats multiple emails still not fixed. This is a game changer for any one running a business. Mess with someone financially whether intentional or not software And credit card processor is substandard.
Payouts are missing. Complete nightmare complete nightmare accounting!

I don't know why people are complaining about the customer service. I've called twice i the past week with ridiculous tasks for them to help me with (year old loot that I never used, not being satisfied with a hair dye) and they have completely helped me out with a positive attitude and absolutely no rudeness. Maybe everyone is calling the wrong line?
I was forced over to Booksy by a purchase by GenBook. I thought about not going and using Acuity instead. But I decided to give it a try. UGH! Takes forever to get technical support. And the videos are clearly aimed at salons and not my type of business, which is alternative medicine. I had been using GenBook for 7+ years. They weren't perfect, but they had excellent customer service.
Perhaps Booksy is okay, but I have no way of knowing without decent tech support.
You can see the photo that I asked a question one afternoon and didn't get a reply. So I put some question marks in twenty minutes ago. NOTHING. Zip. Zero. Nada.
And trying to get signed up for their no-show protection? They keep asking me to do more things, but I don't know what. I've done all they have asked for.
Tip for consumers:
You won't get much customer support
They screwed up the name and I have been assured that it cannot be changed. So all of our reminder messages will have the wrong name on them? Seriously? They were the ones who messed it up and now it can never change? Wow.
Getting ahold of anyone for help is impossible. Getting answers is almost impossible. The support videos are a not funny joke. It takes many more keystrokes to enter or look at any information. About the only thing they got right was the database of patient names. But there is no way to access it or export it for use.
I am seriously disappointment. It's been a disaster. Plus it send an email for every schedule change to our CEO and there seems to be no way to shut that off either.
This is a not funny joke.

I worked with thses people for months, paid a bunch of money and they ended up messing up the import and then ghosted me.
I was working with a manager (javier), it was great. Then the schedule import came in wrong. He said he'd fix it then get back to me. He never does... stops responding to emails... I send a review to their system.
I get a person called Norbert to respond and he's on it... He then ghosts me...
I contact every email I have for them and I end up getting some money refunded but can't get the rest or them to respond.
Tip for consumers:
I wasn't able to get their product to work even with extensive help and escalation through the ranks.
Wasn't able to get a refund for a product that was never functional.

My business had relied upon online booking for the last 8 years. Booksy bought the company that we were using and completely replaced their booking site and software with their own, drastically inferior platform. They stripped us of many helpful features and continually reassure us that 'at some point' there will be an update that might restore some of the lost functionality. Customers complain of being unable to book constantly (booksy is more concerned with capturing their information and spamming them than allowing them to book appointments with my business.) I'm waiting to cancel my booksy subscription, but in order to cancel you have to write them on chat, and then wait for a rep to call you on the phone, which has still not happened. They assure me some day that will have the functionality to let people cancel their subscriptions. Just another function you don't have with Booksy. I'm sure this business will fail within a year because they spent money to buy other platforms (RIP Genbook) and are hemorrhaging customers and seem universally loathed.
They took over Genbook with a horrible transition and support! We worked very well with Square payment processing and they refuse to connect to Square because they are trying to sell their own! They refuse to respond to our requests for support issues. After waiting two hours to get a person on their support line, she had a baby crying in the background and we could hardly hear her... she said: "too bad, I'm working from home and that is my baby crying, so it is what it is"! And then she put us on hold for 20 minutes to find an answer to our question... just terrible!
Just had a fantastic encounter with their online services. I accidentally purchased 2 of the same exact same lifebooker deals (at least i'm consistent?) and it was only for first time customers. I wrote to their online customer service email asking if it was possible for a refund and received an email a few days later saying it would be refunded back to my card without any hassle.
Thank you Janet!
