I made multiple attempts to contact customer service to get updates on my order and to find out why it was taking so long (3 weeks vs 5-7 days as advertised). Some were ignored, one took over a week to answer. The lack of a live person to speak to if there is a problem is a major issue. My glasses finally came back after 3 weeks and the nose bridge was loose on one side. I would never consider returning it to you for repair since I can't wait another month and have no desire to have to deal with your customer service (or lack of) again. I'll be sure to tell all my friends on social media all about my experience!

I sent in 2 pairs of sunglasses to have prescription lenses put in. It took over a month to get them back, with very little to no communication on Lensabl's end that they even received my glasses. When I reached out to customer service (twice) to inquire about my order, they replied by saying that the glasses go through several quality inspections through many lab stations to ensure the quality of the lenses and that's why it takes so long. Well, I ordered gradient lenses for one of the sunglasses and when I got them back, I noticed right away that although the prescription seemed correct, they cut and installed one of the lenses upside down so that the lighter color of the gradience is on top and the darker on the bottom. Let me repeat that - the gradience is upside down! It is so ridiculous and when viewed next to the one that is correct, it looks like I could have eyes going in completely opposite directions!
How could they neglect to see this and correct it if they go through so many checks and balances?! The worst part is, the only way to get in touch with them is via email and I'm guessing it'll take another month to fix the problem if they'll even fix it! So disappointed and full of regret that I sent my glasses to this company :(

NO STARS! Sent my Bose frames for prescription progressive lenses. I sent lensabl my frames on April 21, the lenses were delayed in production because the lenses did not meet their "quality" standards. Lenses arrived and looked like the bottom of an old coke bottle... 4 times as thick as any other progressive lenses that I have from other lens suppliers. I received them on May 24 at which time I wrote lensabl an email expressing my dissatisfaction. 48 hours later and I still have no response. I sent a second request for them to contact me the next day. No response. Inferior product and even worse customer service. If I had received a response within 24 hours (which I think is reasonable), I would not be writing this negative review. I do NOT recommend this company!
I waited for months and while i had to reach out to get updates, I finally got one pair earlier this week. I ordered a pair of sunglasses and sent in my regular glasses to have their lenses changed out. The tracking number made it seem like both would be shipped together and I only have 1 pair.
I have ordered from lensabl before, but I am really disappointed in this most recent experience (and I have no idea where my glasses are at this point)

My experience was good. I was very happy to find out I didn't need to ship my stoggles to you. Having my lenses just come to me was nice. I wish that was an option on the site or mentioned somewhere that it is an option. For people on a budget it would be nice to know they don't have to pay for shipment of the frames.

Replacement lenses on my old RayBan frames came out great. However, they did not return my RayBan clamshell case that I shipped them in, and sent them back in their branded, bulky, weird triangle shaped case. Annoying, as somehow they managed to return my old lenses, but claim it's too difficult to keep the frames together with the case. Also, they were very slow compared to a competitor that I used previously.
I was corresponding with a customer service agent and it seems she was not updated by the lab doing the lenses properly. I paid for expedited shipping & service and it took weeks of misleading information on what the hold up was.
It was pretty quick, and it was easy to set up... but the quality is low. I needed lenses put into "stoggles", the protective goggles all over Instagram, and stoggles recommends lensabl. Even after the discount, they were still pretty expensive because I wanted an anti smudge coating. The first lenses they made didn't pass the quality check, so they were making others. Then they overnighted me the goggles when they were done, which I thought was cool. What's not cool is that they hacked up the rims of the goggles pretty bad getting the lenses in, the cutting of the lenses isn't symmetrical, and they're not even flat in the frame. It's a little disorienting to wear them. The coating I paid extra for does nothing, I could've just gone through a local eye dr for the same price. If I didn't need to wear these stupid things for work bc of Covid, I'd return them. They're still better than wearing goggles over my glasses, so 2 stars for that.

I priced replacing just my lenses in a discount warehouse store, and Lensabl's prices couldn't be beat. The online experience was so easy, they made it quite simple to take the needed measurements that were not on my prescription. I was so pleased to receive my glasses back, packaged in a nice new Lensabl case with a bonus spray bottle of lens cleaner plus lens cloth! They even sent the old lenses back. So happy to reuse my expensive frames, and not have them just sitting unused in a drawer. A++++ for this experience.
My experience was very easy. Just got my glasses with new lenses back and it's exactly what I was expecting. Plus they added glasses "lens cleaner" and a cloth, which was a nice added surprise.

Even though my order was first made in error, Lensabl was prompt to resolve the issue and re-do my order to the correct specifications. Even though only available via e-mail and chat, I am impressed with how quickly the customer service agents are to respond to inquiries and resolve issues. I did receive the corrected final product a few days ago and my only issue was the with the lens thickness and edge rolling (not super smooth and visible close up), but nothing warranting a redo or complaint. I likely should have ordered a thinner lens/Trivex vs. the polycarbonate material like I have on previous custom lens orders since I had ordered a transitions lens. That's more on me, though. Overall, I am content with how the order turned out and Lensabl is fairly reasonably priced in comparison to purchasing through your ophthalmologist's office. They are much more professional and legitimate than most other online eyeglass and lens retailers and their labs are efficient and prompt. Much better customer servicing, too. I would be inclined to purchase lenses through them again and recommend this site to others.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
