After googling for a while in search of a Memo of Understanding template I found the best one in LegalTemplates. Clear and very easy to follow; I prepared a perfect document that was accepted by both parties (a couple of quite important non-profit organizations) and signed without hesitation. This company has stolen $160 dollars from me in the last 4 months. I have no idea how they got my information but when I addressed the issue with them I was told that they would return only half of my money. This was presented as a fair solution for something that was taken fraudulently to begin with, but the catch was that I would have to agree to not report the remaining balance to my credit card company for recovery. Their customer service emails are manipulative and aim to extort while refusing to accept any wrongdoing. Anyone who works for this company should be utterly ashamed to be affiliated with such a lowlife career choice. After some back and forth with their customer service I escalated my complaint to the Better Business Bureau where they offered me $120 from the $160 they took claiming there was a limitation on how far back they could go to refund unauthorized charges. So there's a limit by your "company policy" on returning funds but not on how much you'll take from people? Yeah...They are disgusting.

Good templates but emails with when off of trial would be a nice notification to get. I was told they would close my account and return payment that is pending now I am told to send an e-mail to get payment credit refund processed after I write a review.
Easy to use except for reviews I don't like to review until I have finished the application I think it should be done after you get the application

I appreciated Danny U helping me with my refund. As Phillip B stated on 7/17/17, I do think you should be clearer with your subscription policy by emailing people when you charge them.
Not sure why a review is required to speed up my refund. Seems a little strange to me. Without a review I was told it would take 15 days for a refund and with a positive review it would be much quicker. Not a good way to do business.
Easy to find and navigate site - still curious if sample document in whole will be available for download.

Benjamin dealt with me fairly and I appreciated his honesty and calm demeanor. I would rather spend $5 US for a legal form than to have to call to have my credit card refunded almost $40 US.
Benjamin was very helpful in resolving a billing conflict. Making my template was easy and quick. Getting out of the recurring billing was challenging but once I got a hold of the right person he states he will make it right and process a refund, which was greatly appreciated.
I can't get through one thiing without it demanding I write a review. Here we are. Yaaaassss!

I signed up for the templates but I could not find a template for apps... they had for websites. I need the privacy policy for apps. I'll continue looking elsewhere.

I do have to say using their tool was easy, but be cautioned that when you sign up for a trial account they will bill you $39.95 monthly automatically. I didn't realize this and they have dinged me for several months. They have no interest in working with me on even one month's credit. Disappointed. I'd probably go elsewhere next time given that this content is probably identical on another site.

There was no email reminding about the end of the free trial. There were no emails each month indicating they had charged my card. There wasn't even an initial email regarding the initiation of my account. I had used a card that I don't monitor very closely, so it took me 3 months of charges to realize I was still paying. I had even set a reminder for myself to cancel it, but since I couldn't find an email, I didn't follow up on my own reminder until I noticed the charges. On the flip side, their customer service, especially, Danny, was very good about getting my last month refunded, and obviously it was my fault I didn't cancel which is why they are getting 3 stars.
I used LegalTemplates for a lease agreement and when I signed up it gave me a week-long free trial. After the week was up I went to have my lease agreement notorized and was told that the legal document was not up to the state's standards. I then requested a refund and was somehow denied because my week-long trial was up. I wasn't given any more explanation even though I attempted to appeal this decision.
*Update*
I was contacted after leaving this review and I was offered a refund. The services still did not work out for me, but I appreciate the effort on the part of the company to resolve the issue.

Almost cheaper to pay a lawyer if you only have a few documents a year. Seems all of these sites are meant for people who need multiple copies.

Downloaded bylaws template in Word. Looks very well done. Drafting notes and some options might be helpful. For example, Connecticut requires at least one director to be a resident. That kind of thing might be good to cover.
