I logged on once never used the account, and never gave it a second thought. Seven months later I realize they have been hitting my credit card every month, no receipts on invoicing nothing. Every other account I have sends me receipts every time they take a payment. These people rely on the fact that people get busy and tied up with other thing in life and just keep collecting till you notice.

I specifically searched for a free service. After selecting LawDepot.com and answering many questions I was asked to approve a VERY HIGH MONTHLY CHARGE. One must call and cancel the service else be charged. It is a scam. Dealing with lawyers. Good luck. Do not waste your time.

Instead of refunding my money for the transaction. They charged me a second time. Guy on the phone had said that i had contacted them within the time frame for the refund and that he would refund it. Then another lady "Tina" from customer support said that I did not contact them within the time frame and that it was my fault basically. I have the transaction stamps going through my credit card showing both transactions at (-$40.95) x 2. So instead of even receiving any subscription or refund, I was charged twice for nothing. For a law-based website, this is a joke. The people running the website, only care for your money. They programed a nice app. But if you contact me, I will write a partnership agreement for free.

$132 has been taken from my account after I unsubscribed. Their phone lines aren't answered ever. Automated tells you it's closed EVERY CALL. I want my cash!
I purchased a form which I am pleased with. However purchasing a form also enrolls you is a "subscription" which means they automatically bill your card monthly. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere.

The website content/forms was actually really nice and easy to use. Their customer service, however, was horrendous. I tried cancelling my trial 3 times only to find the cancel button grayed out. The chat continuously told me that my subject line was too long (try again) - and even with a one word subject. I called today to cancel over the phone to report the technical issues to them, and they told me 'no one else has any problems'. I explained that I have worked in technology with websites for many years, and she said 'Well, you don't work here!'. Totally uncalled for when I'm just trying to give them website/technical feedback. I escalated to a manager when the first rep was so rude, and the manager was just as bad. I actually had considered cancelling my other legal program and come back to use this one once the other one expired (until today). I will NEVER use this service simply because of their support demeanor.

Do not do the free trial! They won't refund your money if you cancel one day late! This is how they make their money. People forget to cancel their trial until it shows up on their card, than these scammers won't refund you the money. Scam scam scam!

I followed their cancelation process and they continued to bill my account. They claimed that if I did cancel I would have received a confirmation email. They also claimed they sent me additional emails I never received.

I wanted to download a "free" will kit that this site offered. When I finished they wanted me to pay to be a member or pay $27 for the free will kit. Stupidly I paid $27 on what appeared to be a secure site. I then had over 20 attempts to withdraw money from my mastercard varying from $1.70 to $520. Fortunately I have a block on overseas transfers but had to cancel my bankcard and get a replacement. Someting very suspicious about this website!

These guys cancelled my incorporation and never gave me the $500 back after many attempts to contact. Use this service if you like getting stolen from.
Law Depot gives you the run around to cancel, they push it out by ignoring your email requests, until the 7 day refund is no longer available. They then tell you it is not based on 'USAGE" even though you havent used it then refuse to issue the refund.
There are plenty of other companies who are honorable DO NOT USE THIS ONE

This is a completely misleading website. I don't see ANYWHERE on the page that they say you'll need to enter a credit card until page TWELVE, AFTER I've entered my VIN, name and address of the seller and buyer, etc. So now they have all of that information on me, THEN they want your credit card. You're automatically enrolled at that point in a $33 per month subscription unless you remember to cancel.

I signed up for the free trial to see if this would be a good site for a legal document i was looking to create. Turns out it was not. They advertise this company as "free" but after an hour of filling out forms they hit you with your credit card information. Right after i finished reading their terms and conditions I CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT. Don't think twice of it until 5 months later i realized I have been charged $200 over the past 5 months. Charging me when i cancelled my account that's real professional! In addition to this, they are slimey and don't email you to let you know that charges have been made. This company feeds off of peoples busy lives and letting charges fly under the radar. Customer service is also USELESS and will do nothing to help you besides shove their policy of which you "agreed to" in your face. I read the policy and CANCELLED my account right after. Log on to the account today to see it's not canceled! This is the worst company i have ever dealt with. Pure deciet. Stay away from this con company. Oh! And i will be seeking legal action in order to get my money back! Want my money now! REFUND.

As you mentioned, you were the one who cancelled the subscription. The site acknowledges your cancellation right away and you would know it has been cancelled.
The cancellation is real time and it will also send you a confirmation email once cancelled.
If you were still billed for all those months, then that would mean you have not cancelled your subscription correctly resulting to charges on your account.
Unfortunately, no refunds will be processed for a Trial Subscription turned to a monthly service.
The Terms and conditions were outlined clearly when you signed up for the service.

I initially went to this web site to access legal forms the 21st of March, 2022. You have to sign up to look at their products. I determined that I didn't want the service and cancelled during the free period. The next month I saw that they had charged me anyway. I went online and cancelled AGAIN. They have continued to charge me every month. They will NOT answer the listed phone number. I have a dispute through my credit card company. BE VERY CAREFUL DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY!

I signed up for free trial, didn't get one email from lawdepot.ca until the billed me, and then got 7 emails in one day. Had they emailed Me a day before my free trial ended I would of cancelled. They wait to send emails cause until you've been billed to ensure they get one month of fees. Lawyers are the worst. I would not recommend this website due to unethical business practices.

We then placed the date and time to cancel your account on the bottom of your receipt page that you had the option to print out. We immediately sent you a confirmation email with your account details and the date and time to cancel in bold print. We followed that up with a second email the day after your first charge.

They are the scammer. Don't fall into their trap. Very upset with there service. They charge you for the rush hour, once they have your money it is not rush anymore. Moreover, they don't provide you the business number. You need to call "service ontario" to get your business number. If I have to do all this then why pay them more than $600. I could just go to service ontario site and do my business registration.

The 7 day free trial offer does clearly state the need to cancel within 7 days or the account converts to the monthly plan until cancelled. The credit card page recaps the same information as does the receipt page. Immediately after the license selection, we send you an email which also recaps the terms of use and the date and time to cancel by appears in bold print. We also send an email on the first day of billing. You receive your monthly bank statements to view all charges occurring in your various accounts or you have instant online access.
