I met four women in this site and all four asked for money after exchanging a few short messages. Not a good dating site.

The review by Weldon W. Is 100% correct and I wish that I had read it before I joined this site. I allowed myself to be drawn in by the most professional female scam artist that I have ever encountered. These woman are very crafty, cunning and conniving. They know how to draw you in unlike any other. They know what to say, and when to say it. They will use everything from religion to children to build rapport with you in an effort to scam you to send them money. Regardless of how sad a story that they tell you you should NEVER EVER send not one penny to any of them. The first part of their plan is to get you off of the grid of the web site and communicate with them on a different platform. Usually that platform is an application called WhatsApp that you download to your cell phone. The quickest way for you to start weeding out the scammers is to tell them on day one that you will never send them money until after you have met in person. The second thing to do is to have them send you a picture of themself holding a sheet of paper with your name written on it and today's date. This will eliminate the ones that are using fake pictures. It is a shame that there are people out there willing to play with God and the heart and emotions of others for financial gain. First, he price is high. Roughly $30 bucks a month with no app and a buggy mobile site. Secondly and probably the most important, so many FAKES! I suppose the first clue is the professionally taken modeling photos. Another clue, I'm a descent looking guy, but I wake up to having 20 + whatsapp numbers in my box without saying writing them or initiating any contact. If i return interest with an message, there's no response to my messages, theres an immedite response with a whatsapp number/cam link/ google chat/etc. Ive responded to 2 messages, one was talking about her need for support with a half day, another wanted to come over my house (I was staying in San Crisobal) immediately for a great deal. Another clue, 50% of the attention I get comes from Venezuela. I haven't even gone down that path because of travel restrictions/danger. All of that said, there are a couple of real users. They just get drowned out by all the fakes and schemers. I wont be finishing the month and suggest you never start it.

I see some bad reviews from these cupid pages and they are mostly all true. Although you can blame yourself if you send money to some hot babe you never met in your life!
Do you also give your money to any women you meet in a bar? This is not cupid's fault its your own!

Some women will post fake pictures... well because they are fat and not so attractive, yes i have been there, done that! Just block them and or report them, most likely nothing will happen or they will just make a new account... Leave it!

Some women will send you a link for some online action, but your best bet will be youporn etc... its free!
Some women have a sick mom or dad that needs surgery... Its not your problem!

These are the scams on these sites... live with it or just dont enter and pay.

Although there are some " bugs " most women on these pages are for real, give it some time and find your girl... if in doubt ask for their facebook ( all women have it) if they dont, talk to the next girl if she wont send you a picture/video or a skype.

I have been on latinamerican & brazil cupid and the " scams " are the same, so most likely they are the same on all of them.

But if i havent given it some time ( 3 months) i wouldn't have been married today! I didnt look for a high educated rich girl with a DD bra size or a silicone filled butt ( its just not my taste) Im just a normal " joe " so a normal " jill " with a nice smile fits me perfect and i found her.

Due to a serious security breach on LatinAmericanCupid, a scammer somehow managed to set up a fake profile using MY email address without my consent or knowledge. Naturally, I was surprised when I received a registration confirmation from LatinAmericanCupid, since I had never signed up for an account myself. The email I received was not a verification link, but a confirmation that a (fake) profile had already been set up using my email address! Clearly, the website allows scammers to register without verification, thereby allowing them to use email addresses other than their own. I contacted LatinAmericanCupid as well as CupidMedia via email and via their online help, asking them to remove the fake account that is fraudulently using my email address, but I received no response from them despite multiple emails and help requests. Their customer service completely ignored my emails, which gave the impression that they support the establishment of fake profiles on their website. Absolutely horrible experience, both with their alarming security breach, and their indifferent customer service! BEWARE!

I have met latinas both in the United States and outside and met my wife from this site. She already had a visa and didn't want anything financial. I am fluent in Spanish and am experienced with the different cultures of each country and know how the basic slang differences in each. The spammers you can recognize a mile off. It has less spammers and genuine people with real pics than every other dating site.

I laugh my head off at all those guys who believe all the messages they receive are fake. Of course there are both fake profiles and professional and amatuer scammers. Of course many are looking for money. But 95% of the dominican, cuban, venezuelan profiles are real women looking for men. Think about those countries. And blue eyed gringos are like gods to them. Yeah, those relationships are not going to work out for you unless you understand the cultures and curb your expectations. The reality of culture clash is real and won't work for most. But if you know what you are doing this site is the best dating site for anyone tired of gringa attitude.

I won't recommend anyone to pay membership in LatinAmerican Cupid.com because it contains a lot of fake profiles with stolen pictures of women for disguised used by scammers and extortionists around the world that lured you to WhatsApp for the purpose to scam you even using death threats to extort you to get your money. The ones that are real women from Latin America country are in the website where they also lured you to WhatsApp, and when you are in WhatsApp with them after they had lured you to it, after a few interactions with them in texting and video calls, they ask you to pay their mobile phone bills through Ding.com to keep on texting and video calling with them and after you paid for their mobile phones, you don't hear from them anymore. Some of the women ask you to send money to them to allegedly buy food, some they ask you to send money to them to alleged pay for their college fees and the worst is that there's some women from the Dominican Republic that fabricates False sad stories saying that their mothers or daughters are ill in the hospital and need money to save their lives. I have experienced all these these asking money ingrates and here's some proof to support my true report.

Constant suspensions for no reason while scammers and women looking for sugar daddies are free to do what they want

I called on December 6,2020 United States time zone to ask about the membership price and the lady I spoke with said, I should just create a profile and view the prices myself and if I don't like it just delete my account I explained to her that I'm a Business Owner I'm not her regular customer. I need to know the prices for the membership before I waste my time signing up and I also asked her if you needed a membership to send messages and she said one of you have to be a paid member. Seems like these websites are always catering to these broke Women looking for a man that she can beg for money I always run into gold diggers 24/7 on these websites even if you're paying there's too many fake accounts on these websites. Then I asked if they do background checks and this lady got an attitude with me and told me in a loud voice I need to be a member it seems like the Customers that are not members yet are not worth their time. I will be sure to have a conversation with my audience about this website on my broadcasting Network these Representatives love being rude and disrespectful towards Customers and don't know what line of work these Customers work in. My broadcasting Network is just like ABC news NBC news CBS news TNT USA CW and I'm a well known reviewer for Businesses that I do Business with and I don't mind bringing awareness to the public about messed up Businesses. One year ago I was on Latin American Cupid and it was $30.00 a month, now it's $41.00 a month for the gold membership. I thought that was crazy. How could inflation make a dating site go up in price? I did a one-week membership for $20.00. It still felt like a rip-off to me. Men watch out for the women from the Dominican Republic. They are all scammers looking for money. Watch out also for the women from Colombia. Women from these countries will request money from you via Whatsapp. They will not ask you on the website because they know better. The women are there for three things. 1. a boyfriend or husband. 2. a friend 3. A man to send them money. Don't let their beautiful photos trick you. They could be stolen. Always insist on a video call with them. If they tell you their camera is broken and they cannot do it, it's probably a lie or they will ask that you send them money to buy one so they can talk to you. Don't send money, Never, Ever! They will hint about it and beat around the bush, so do not give in men. I've met some nice women there who are there for the right reasons and others are there for the wrong reasons. If they start calling you " Mi Amor " and all the sweet names just remember this is to get you to feel sorry for them and give into sending money. Many of these women are still on there now ( September 2022) from when I was there a year ago. These women keep searching and searching so be on guard about this. They could be talking to you and five other guys. Ask the right questions and make them appropriate. Latina women are turned off by men asking for nude photos. It's best to avoid this if you want a Latina woman. Remember these women will start asking you to visit them when you start talking to them. Keep in mind if stop hearing from them after a week of talking to them then you know they were not serious about you. Latin American Cupid offers a good service, but the increase in memberships is crazy. Its not worth it.

Within minutes of paying the very pricey $39+ a month membership, I was bombarded with messages from fake profiles. I'm not talking a few, I received so many that I immediately contacted customer support to get a refund.

They asked me how did I know they were fake. I explained that almost every one gave a number to call them only after just saying hello, before knowing anything about me, or me asking anything about them. Welcome to the world of collecting numbers for SPAM calling.

2nd way of knowing was was they had zero interest answering very standard questions like, why did they only have one photo, hold old was it, are they open to getting to know each other a little on the app before I give out my number etc. (I thought this is part of the reason to use a $39 a month app) but with 9 out of every 10 messages / contact, it was frustratingly clear these were all bots and or fake profiles w/ malicious intent.

The customer service representative just added to my frustration by patronizing and condescending my experience and reasoning with a response like; I can't say whether every women that chooses to give out their number before getting to know a man, is not real.

Another shady aspect to the $39 a month rip off, is that once you're on the site, adds for all the other Latin dating apps under the Cupid umbrella pop up like, Columbianacupid etc. and they all cost an additional $39 a month. It's definitely misleading and shady by my standards.

After me being upset over this whole experience and mostly due to the total lack of acknowledgement from the customer service rep, she (the rep) finally said she would cancel my subscription and refund / credit my first months payment.

I'm writing this review after looking at my bank statement and seeing the refund / credit did not happen.

I'll be disputing the charge and taking this to consumer affairs as well as every other means to help others avoid this unnecessary scam.

I paid a 3 month membership and have not been able to read or send messages! A scam. I have a receipt for the purchase but nothing.

I have been on this site for less than a week. At first I thought wow I must be really popular because my inbox was going crazy along with the woman adding me to their favorites and interested in me. At first you think this is great!

However, soon you will notice the patterns where these girls always want to take you offline to WhatsApp or Skype. They want you in a private area to work you over. I had one who Skyped me from Jamaica at 6am to ask me for money to put minutes on her phone! Really? Click. Another one started dry begging about not having money for something or other and she got booted too. I firmly believe that if you give each one long enough you'll find that the end result is that they are not there for relationships at all. Another one had different pics of her on the site and slipped up and sent me altogether different ones in Whats App. Totally sloppy characters.

But it's not just them. The site is nefarious as well. So to help any other Joe out there here is my results of this epic failure of an experiment:

1.) As soon as you start searching you will be riddled by bots who know you are online. Beware these are all fake profiles! The site is either complicit or is selling access to your profile.

2.) One picture ponies. No real content in their profiles with one photo that surely isn't even there's.

3.) Throwing out some Whats App number and you have never had any contact with them yet. Phoney!

4.) Sending messages to your inbox but never seeing your profile. Bogus!

5.) The Skype video loop. If they want to go over to Skype they show you some looped video and if you play dumb and ask them why is it so slow. They will say their screen is freezing and they don't know why. Happened more than once with me. I think those guys are from Ghana.

As someone else said if you really want to meet a nice Latina go to their country and meet them. Even then realize that their looks are deceiving and most live very poor lives and scamming fat bald white dudes is easy money. Or better yet, just stay in your lane and save your money.

First, they are very picky on what you write in description and will delete your entire "about me" profile if they didn't like what you wrote. I couldn't find a guideline nor do they provide reason as to why they deleted. I had to write my profile more than 4 times.
Second, I searched for people in a particular country and there was roughly 35 people in the result but the next day the search showed more than 100 people. Interesting that in one day 65 people signed up. When I did the search based on members online it showed me more than 2900 members from different different parts of South America. I clicked on a profile and sent a message. I clicked back button to go on the online members results page and suddenly all of them are offline. I went to home page and clicked members online and see all of that same people are online. Very interesting.
Third, if you send a message to someone you liked ( I send to more than 80 different people) a autoreply message pops up saying that both of you are free members, so you need to Upgrade membership. I emailed the customer service to find out how do I know who is a paid member. They responded by saying the profile will have a blue or gold symbol next to a profile. I searched more than 400 profiles and only found 1 blue profile. Interestingly, they don't have the option to search for paid members only( it's very clear that they barely have any paid members).
You will get a lot of messages in your inbox but you can't see it since you a free member. Even if you sign up for membership the other person can't see your message because they are free member. So you basically wasted your money, time and effort.

All you ever get is young 20 year olds with 1 photo, probably stolen, nothing in their profile, completely blank and you will get help hundreds of messages from the girls giving you their phone number for you to message then on Whatsaap to exchange money for nude photos, website is full of scammers, all women scammers I must say, even older women and stealing nice looking photos and when you video call them they are in their late 40's, none of them work, they have no interest in you whatsoever, they are only interested in what you can give them, my advise is, completely ignore this website, there are other global sites, free to join,. Free to message, you could be the elephant Man and still they are all interested, if you try reporting them, again a complete waste of time as the admin do absolutely nothing, you have to pay 30$ to join and you will soon regret it, l never spoke to 1 genuine woman in 30 days, they often read your message and no reply till they are bored or needing a cash handout, the usual line is I'm very hungry and so is my child or need money for medication as I have covid, please do not be fooled, I've been told a hundred times can l be a sugar daddy for exchange for fun, these girls don't work apart from working to get you to part from your hard earned cash, sure you will talk to beautiful women but they only want a quick passport for her and her 4 children, the amount of lies and heartbroken stories you will hear is laughable, but they will tell you that your special and they are not talking to anybody else, that's how you can see your message has been read a day later and they have been online on the site as they have nothing to do except try scam you, some almost sound genuine till you see they have read you message and not replied, so at least 90% are fake and out to make your pocket weaker, but do not waste your time
