“First time customer and we will be back!”

I work for a school, and we have students in grade 9 - 12 using Chromebooks. Smashed screens are inevitable! I searched a bunch of sites, and this site had the best price and even offered discounts for repeat customers and got the quantity you order. They shipped that day and arrived super-fast. Already used one and it worked out great! Would 100% recommend them to anyone and will use them again i am sure for future purchases!

“1 star. Computer worked before installing the screen.”

Have no idea if the screen i bought even works. Installed it on my laptop. Now the laptop is not working. It also was suppose to be 2 day shipping and it took 4 days. If i can get the computer working I might be able to give it a score.

The screen, replacing a cracked one, shipped quickly arriving ahead of schedule. It was an exact match and the site made it easy to ensure that. I'm pretty familiar with basic hardware replacement but found a great video online for my exact model. The only complaint I had was one tiny spot of pixel(s) dead. Super tiny and the company states they would still replace it which is better than Dell would do for the size. If it gets any bigger, the lifetime protection on defects will get it replaced again.

Good service and delivered promptly from canada

Customer placed an order on our website which lists all available stock at all of our locations. We did not change the outgoing destination on our end. Customer knew that the order is shipping from Vancouver, Canada - an international shipment from over 7,500km away. Order was placed on Oct 19 at 15:41 Vancouver time and was promised to be delivered by Wednesday, Oct 25. The order left Vancouver on Oct 20th and was received in England a day ahead of the estimated arrival on Tuesday, Oct 25 at 8 am local time. Customer paid £31.80 for the delivery, less than 0.4 pence per Kilometer.

Border taxes and duties are charged by the local Government and FedEx bills the receiver for the service of customs clearing. Customs charges are a reasonable and a very traditional expectation when importing products across International borders.
We, as a company do not receive any of the money paid by the customer to Her Majesty the Queen and to the FedEx for the importation.

Well I was really skeptical in trying this site however it seems to have a large supply of screens so I decided to give it a go. Shipping cost was fair shipping time was excellent but that's all nice things I have to say.

Packing was poor thin box very little bubble wrap screen seems to have been damaged in transit. Arrived very bad bleeding in center of screen more than half screen. And although panel fit it was wrong modelfor my laptop thus would not fit with bezel.

Customer support was good they responded in a few hours but couldnt give me a comparable screen for my system hence a return minus shipping was given.

Overall not horrible but I don't think I will shop their again. I Ended up going with a Amazon seller for my screen and I'm very happy item arrived in around half the time (with prime) screen was well packed arrive excellent condition no damage cost a little but was worth it.

Only thing I got out of this was a $20 loss a few days wasted time and a lesson not to buy from this site.

The effect on customer's screen was not related to actual shipping damage.
Customer requested a return and was provided a free pre-paid return shipping label and a refund of the purchase price of the screen upon return.
Returned screen tested normal.

I am the owner of a computer shop who orders a lot of screens. Of the 10 or so we've ordered from LaptopScreen they shipped at least 3 that were different models and either defective or incompatible with the model #'s we needed. The last time we ordered we needed the screen ASAP so we paid $30 to upgrade to one-day shipping (they always claim to ship same day), and low and behold the screen we got TWO days later was the wrong one. When we asked for a refund on the late shipping for the wrong screen they refused and were unapologetic.

Tip for consumers:
They may be good for one-off orders but if you're going to be ordering a lot I'd find a supplier with better QA.

Customer contacted support and informed us that the screen they ordered did not work int he laptop that they ordered it for. A free return label was provided and a full refund will be issued once the item is returned back by the customer.

LaptopScreen.com ships every day Monday to Friday, all orders submitted before 1pm ship the same day. Unfortunately orders that come in after the couriers have left the warehouse have to ship the next business day.

Shipping was punctual and I felt they offered good value. Unfortunately, the location for the ribbon was in a different spot than factory so I had to modify routing and stretch the wires a little. I am not liking the way it had to route but it is working. Secondly, the screen is actually not centered in my surround so part of the my tool bar is covered by the surround, and the metal shows on the same distance on the bottom of the screen. I understand that this is not a official Samsung product but the fitment is sub-standard in my opinion. I'm guess I am the exception, not the rule.

It is never a recommended option to install an LCD that does not fit properly or has the connector in a wrong position. Customer's laptop is fairly new and we certainly do have the proper connector and fitment panel - we carry most modern laptop screens.

Customer is urged to contact support to request an exchange at no cost to customer, even if the item was ordered by customer's mistake.

I was fixing my laptop from a recent drop and ordered a new screen from laptopscreens.com. I don't know if my experience is the usual experience, but the screen I received is not anywhere near as good as the original. For some reason, with solid blues, the screen flickers, but is pretty good for everything else. The contrast is also not as good. The screen suffices, though. If you don't care about getting an OUTSTANDING screen back, then I'd go with them.

The effects described are typically the result of a loose video cable connection, or a break in the video cable.
It is best to replug the video cable at the LCD and at the motherboard.
In the unlikely event of the issue persisting, contact support for immediate assistance.

I am still waiting for my order. Tracking number shows it was delivered but I never got it. I'm still waiting to find out what they are going to do about it. Right now I am not very happy. Just send me my screen please. It was suppose to be insured so I'm not sure why I haven't been sent another.

Ordered my 17inch Acer screen for 100 bucks. Was quoted 300+ from store for repair. Got my parcel in the mail fast. Installed it and it has 1 dead pixel. Asked about replacement and they tell you to "buy" a return label for 15 bucks. Then a new fully tested one will be sent to me. Started reading this site. Thinking now I can just live with the one annoying bad pixel. Oh darn. 2/5 stars for this company.

Ordered laptop screen on 31st of Dec. 2010, It is now Jan 6th and won't recieve it until monday the 10th. Laptopscreen.com implies that will ship same business day, not true. They did not ship until Tuesday and, they had payment since Fri.
The shipper UPS did actually get the package for shipment until Wenesday. UPS tracking say's delivery on Monday the 10th. What happened to the 3 day select delivery? Would rate the service poor for laptopscreen.com.

LaptopScreen.com has very little control over the courier ability to deliver parcels during holiday season. Please allow up to 2 weeks for shipping, if the shipment occurs during the last two weeks of December. Customers are welcome to request shipping refunds from the couriers via our support department. (Claims are typically granted 100% for express parcels being delayed during regular season)

For the cost I would recommend them because they were the cheapest by about $20. However, I placed my order with them Dec. 30th and it says it shipped that day, but it is now the 6th of Jan. And sill in transit and not expected to get here until Monday the 9th of January, so it will have taken them 10 days to get it to me, when it is supposed to be a 3 day shipment. Considering I paid $12 for shipping, I think they should make sure it gets to the customer within those 3 days. Thankfully, I've had a netbook to use in the meantime, but never again would I buy through them.

Customer support not helpful at all, I had to do all the work finding the screen myself after they did not have my screen available. I was very clear with my questions, and they still seemed to not understand. I found a suitable screen however by my own and it works fine.

I finally received the screen after 4 weeks. The website does not explain that when using PayPal one must send payment to an email. That is STUPID! I have made many purchases from other sellers online and have been taken directly to the PayPal site for approval of my transaction. This website, however, causes the buyer to all of the work for them. 1. Remember (or copy) their email addess 2. Open your PayPal acct. 3. Click around until you find the procedure for sending payment to an email address. 4. Enter all transaction info manually and submit it, etc. The people at laptopscreen.com seem to run the business on the cheap (visions of a dirty warehouse with roaches and mice pooping everywhere) and seem confused about their own purchasing process. P.S. It would also be nice to speak to someone who is proficient in speaking basic English.

Ellis B. – LaptopScreen Rep

With all appropriate consideration,
You are describing a manual PayPal payment procedure which every PayPal payable site uses in case the automated process does not go through.
It is no where near compulsory for our website as you describe it and usually means a failure on the local side, due to disabled JavaScript or bogged down / infected computer.
"That is STUPID!" - I agree, you seem to have went through a bunch of self-imposed hoops, but don't blame us for it.
You have received the screen 4 weeks after you paid for it, or 4 week after you have thought you have ordered it? (There is a big difference)
As for your comments about your visions of a dirty warehouse with rodents pooping, well, without having to prove anything to you, and not to diminish your insightful visions,
Please take into account that mice are not able to digest LCD screens, and thus them pooping in our warehouse would be a near impossibility.
Unless of course they go eat somewhere, and then come back to poop in our warehouse, which is possible, but highly inconsiderate of them.
Same goes for roaches, as they do require a food source to support their colonies, and since we do not store perishables in our brand new 5500sq warehouse,
With 30 foot ceilings, rustic cedar beams and polished concrete floors, they do not grace our location with their presence.
I am not sure as to the source of your visions (I might have some guesses), and I highly doubt your estimations of our inability to speak English;
Although I am sorry you allege to have had a bad experience, I do very much doubt that the outcome of it was even remotely in our control.

I asked for a specific part number for my Compaq laptop display. They subbed it. I had to install it without the top and bottom support brackets. The subbed display did not have the threaded holes to mount the brackets on, I have it supported by the left and right sides only. The only good thing is they had the best warranty for the display. I have to be careful not to flex the casing.

Hi, I ordered a 13,3 LED laptop screen replacement, and I received it in approximately one week, The screen price was good 76$, The shipping was quick but too expensive 45$ and I have payed extra tax when I received the screen about 40$.
Unfortunately the screen has a horizontal black line, Fortunately, The black line was near the edge at the top of the screen.
I can see that black line even when the screen is turned off. I think they never test their screens before shipping.
But at least the screen works and it was exactly the same model as the old one.

THEY CLAIM IN BIG LETTERS ON THEIR SITE TO SELL ONLY OEM PARTS. NOT SO. ORDERED A REPLACEMENT LAPTOP SCREEN FOR A DELL COMPUTER EXPECTING TO GET THE SAME LG SCREEN. I DID NOT AND JUST GOT A COMPATIBLE. IF I WOULD HAVE KNOW THIS, I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT ON EBAY FOR $20 LESS.

OEM stands for ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER. Dell's shipped with LG, Samsung, AUO and ChiMei screens.
If you received any of those brands, then you have received an OEM screen. However if you do insist on the exact model,
We do allow for that to be specified in the order notes, while placing the order, and we will do our best to pick one out for you,
Or give you call-back stating that the exact model is not available.

Ordering was easy, and I got the screen on time. It was well packaged quite well and neatly. Had no problems with any of that.

Problems started when I installed the screen and it didn't work. I tried swapping my old screen in, back and forth, multiple times, to verify that it wasn't a bad connection or something obviously wrong. I verified that it was the correct model and everything. I wrote their support email to explain what I had done, and basically got a reply amounting to "our screen is 100% compatible, and we've had lots of happy customers. You should try re-installing your screen, and check out these quick tips" (the quick tips, btw, also bascially said "the problem is usually an installation error, you should try reinstalling it"). I (admittedly somewhat more irritated at this point from feeling dismissed), wrote back that I was not happy with the reply and found the defensiveness over a fairly honest question to be a bit bothersome. Got a reply back that instead of being irritated I should follow their quick tips or seek professional help if I can't install it myself, and that I clearly had unrealistic expectations for what could be done to troubleshoot over email. This, of course, was not helpful as I had done these steps already multiple times. I am currently in the process of trying to return the screen for a refund, though their terms per website are 20% restocking fee on the cost of the product. Mind you, the screen was ~$60, and I'll have paid another non-refundable $40 or so in shipping by the time I get the screen back to them, at which point they will test it and determine if they feel it is faulty or not (there is obviously no appeal of that process), so we'll see.

Overall, I can't necessarily blame them. I suspect if the screen had worked, my experience would have been very happy. The very sour taste in my mouth currently is from attempting to get some support for a problem.

Ordered HP LED laptop screen 5 weeks ago. 1st screen had mounting screws going in perpendicular to screen not parallel. Sent it back at MY COST. I kept asking when new screen would be sent and they asked for screen number. I sent HP model number. They sent message (no phone only messages) saying they need model number on back of screen. They now say they will send out correct screen. They should have asked for model number from the beginning. If this screen is wrong I will order an investigation by CC company should they not credit my card for full amount + tax. Very poor and sloww service.
