“Three For.com, Five For Our Local Brick & Mortar”

I am not a frequent brick-and-mortar/large chain shopper; but, every time I have had the occassion to shop or pick-up something at our local Kohl's, it has been a top-notch experience. The employees are knowlegeable, going as far as asking if you need assistance when you are just walking down the aisles. The longest I've waited in a line for pick-up was maybe 10 minutes, even during Christmas. Five stars for the wonderful staff at "our" store - it is great to encounter employees that care about their jobs/customers these days! Online is a different experience (of course it is, I know!). You do have to watch for what is claimed to be "sale prices" - I've noticed that the prices are often jacked up for "sales". I have had items, particularly around Christmas, that even though seem to be instock are not after ordering. Do NOT expect fast shipment. They do not have the infrastructure of places like WalMart and Amazon. For our area, they utilize UPS SmartPost frequently. So, it travels though the UPS network, then into the USPS. Packaging is always great to withstand the extended time travel, though - typically boxed vs. envelopes.

Hi, Its very bad experience with purchasing. I have bought 2 pairs of shoes the same size and on of them was too small. I had a return it, but company did not offer prepaid label, so I had to pay muly own money for this return. Refund will be issued only during next 30 days (company will use my money for business purposes for this time). Customer service is pretty bad and can't get any help from them spending almost 1 hour in the chat. I would definitely recommend not doing any purchases here, they don't care about customers.

The store manager in El Paso has a huge neck tattoo, red strawberry hair and she is painted out of control. No professional standards at all. Kohls do better!

When given the option to leave a review on an item that I had purchased on Kohls.com, I was unable to submit my review due to the amount of stars I'd given. I found the item to merit a 1 star, very poor quality in material. When it arrived it was not in the same likeness, quality or design execution, of that which is listed on the website.

Sensing the derrogatory criticism ( by listing the 1 star) the system would not allow me to submit. As I would later discover, kohl's has very few items with reviews ( recent and/or past). Please do better, gross mis-representation isn't a good look

I've spent some time looking for clothes here but every time it just gets too confusing with all the deal stuff, and it feels like I get a bad deal if I don't figure it all out so I avoid shopping here. Shopping online is a bit easier but they should hold my stuff up front instead of making me walk so far to the back. It's fine once, but it's also a mall area, so it's really an adventure just to do a pick up.

I would never buy clothing again from Kohls.com because if it is not as represented or defective, you will have to pay to ship it back. Kohls showed an ad for very attractive overalls but when the medium sized overalls arrived, the cut was entirely different so that anyone would look quite overweight in the overalls because the side buttons were too high up and far out to out to the side. The overalls were nothing like the very attractive overalls which were advertised. And unlike other decent stores, I have to pay postage to return them. So I will never shop online at Kohls again.

Beware of return policies, they will steal from you ever chance they get, even if it's their mistake. Cut up my card a month ago, done!, no longer go to Kohls, they will go like Sears and JC Pennies no longer viable, product quality of average to poor

Every time I visit the stores I find rack-after-rack of on sale items which I've never seen at regular price. Kohl's management thinks customers will simply be attracted by their sales signing and purchase ignorantly believing they are getting a 'deal' on an item when they are merely paying full price on an item with 'sale' signage.

When shopping online with Kohl's be aware that your money spent for shipping is never given back to you The local store is great, but online shopping is horrid. I have had to return three times and I am out the shipping. Be aware those that do this, like me. Shop wiser and not with Kohl's online. They are not nice either in the store when you bring the product back. I am not real happy with their grouchy attitudes. In store is great, but out of store is horrible,

Tip for consumers:
The shipping would not come back to you with a purchase as large as this one since it is all based on products that are quality.

Nearly every type of clothing I have ever bought at Kohl's didn't last a year. The seams come apart very easily. Don't buy their overprice underwear or socks either. I paid off my credit card with them then shredded the card.

I ordered an under amour hat for my husband for Christmas and was sent the wrong color. It was ugly! I emailed the customer service and drove the hour and half round trip to return it to the store to be exchanged faster. The sales clerk and I ordered it together. I received my package today to get the same wrong hat I did not want! Beyond frustrated I try calling the toll free number on my shipping papers to get disconnect tones. I look on the website and found a different number. I call and they tell me I had to go through the same crap again. I refused and asked for a supervisor. I hate having to be nasty because their just trying to do their job but it was ridiculous! After arguing and yelling he told me to keep or donate it and I would be refunded and fix the website. I will never shop their website again which I did enjoy very much until this awful experience.

Someone bought me a gift pair of jeans. Really disliked them so I headed back to Kohls with gift receipt. Kohls had a different special the time I went back. Kohls had no pricing identified on the jeans. They have electronic displays with buy one get one one half off with no price tags on anything. When I went to purachase I was surprised I had to pay another 30 dollars above the exchange amount. I complained about the lack of clear pricing anywhere in the Jean section. Got typical minimal wage store attendant responses. Another electronic advancement designed to shaft the customer. Keep telling folks to not buy me clothing for gifts for all of these reasons. Also will not be buying at Kohls again. No clear pricing is an as automatic walk away for me but I was locked in with a gift receipt.

I have been a Kohl's customer for many years and never had a late payment. I had to go out of town to work in October, and instead of going online and paying my bill I just mailed it in. It apparently never made it to Kohl's. When I got home I found a bill for the late payment on it. I panicked and called them immediately and they told me there was no problem that they were not going to report it to the credit bureau. I paid it been in there and was told everything was fine. I checked my credit the other day and my credit score dropped 100 points. I had to go into the credit agency and find out why. They did report me after saying they hadn't. I've been a good customer I've always been reliable and I am not responsible for a lost check. I did everything I could to fix the problem as soon as I got home. I think they could've had a little more patience the payment was only two weeks late. I will not shop with them ever again unless they reverse this ding on my credit.

The worst shopping experience ever. My payment was delayed. Some of the items were also missing. I wanted to return all of the staff but wouldn't get any refund for that. I will not buy again here.

The products of this company are fine. My complaint lies in the fact that I received my order, the bras are too large and there was no packing slip included. I can't access chat other than their idiotic "virtual assistant" and all that gives me is "Thank you for shopping at Kohls.com" and nothing else. I can't stay on terminal hold, and can't get a copy of a nonexistent packing slip. I'm just hoping that when I go on Friday (when they're supposed to reopen here) that I can get the exchange I want. The store itself, so far, has been great. The two stars are for their extremely lousy website.

Astounded at the way they have committed so much store space to cosmetics and removed the jewelry dept. Also way too much space taken up by Yoga/excercise wear. Too much junkie clearance clothes racks that do NOT have good prices and look like leftovers from a garage sale. Stores seam geared toward too many "name brand" items with unnecessary high prices. Buy one get one 50 % off sales are a rip off. Don't make me buy 2 items to get a sale price when I only want 1. All in all my shopping at Kohls has ended. They need new buyers and new Qualty control personnel who care about Customer needs. Try returning to the way you "used to be"!

Placed a big order online, had to change my address bc of a move, looked online to see when it would be delivered and noticed the address did not change to my new one and only a partial shipment was sent. I went back into my account and realized I had not saved it so I take responsiblity for that. This was the next day. Called right away to see if they could intercept the rest of the order that had not gone out and change the address on it. Nope! First of all the lady I talked to was very hard to understand so I kept saying "I cannot understand you so please repeat it". She informed me that when they received the order back from my old address they would refund me the money. I then said I would rather have the clothing than my money back. She said that was not am option AND that it would take 30 days for my refund. W Can someone tell me why it takes 30 days for a refund? The company doesn't wait 30 days for the payment. Not happy with KOHL'S at all.

Tip for consumers:
You have to pay for return shipping, while most other companies I have ordered from have offered free return shipping.

Kohl's used to be a great place to shop but not anymore, the prices are off the wall (summer pajamas for women $52.00?). Everywhere I look items are "buy one get one 50%" which is just a gimick to get you to buy 2 but it isn't working. Most items you couldn't possibly want 2 of. Inventory in stores is very low and you can't uses % off on toys (which are already higher than other retail stores). I would also love to have my instore purchase visible on the web site like Walmart & Target have. I can see why they are having probelems but the high prices are not going to help them since store turnout is low.

Tip for consumers:
Look for bargains and don't get sucked into "buy one get one 1/2 price.
Keep track of purchases because it is difficult to figure out return if you use discount and kohls' Cash.
Also, Kohl's cash isnt really used like cash at all. It is taken off before any store discount instead of at the end when you would typically pay.

This Christmas most of my shopping was done online. I was disappointed twice by Kohl's. Remember it is Christmas-a time for surprises, so the box from Kohl's shows up on the doorstep with the contents listed on the outside of the box. UGH! Next I open another package from Kohl's to find the security tag still attached. One, not very good security if it leaves the warehouse and goes through the mail and nothing happens. Two, I was not happy about having to go into the store to have it removed. It was a BIG inconvenience. Better step up your game when it comes to providing quality service Kohl's.

I returned a faux-leather Rosetti purse today (too small; not enough pockets) with receipt. The lady asked me if I had the Rosetti tag. I said "no". She proceeded to recreate the tag--WRONG! Deal with the customer in front of you FIRST then print the tag. I demanded my refund. She finally "woke up" and gave it to me. The lady next to me, seemed to be arguing with the clerk about her refund also.

Tip for consumers:
Don't let Kohl's bully you about a return.

Kohls has some pretty good sale prices. When I don't have any product problems, Kohls.com is adequate. But Beware: the website customer service has been highly unreliable for me. I've talked to reps and mgrs in the Nicaragua call center and it also sounds like they've got an Indian call center. Some English language barriers, and sounds like reps will just read chapter/verse of rules. I've gotten conflicting info from reps, finally had to have their mgr give me the right info. Very confusing and frustrating because often it seems like they don't completely understand what I'm saying. I speak slowly and without an accent. No help. Kohls.com when I review a product prohibits you from saying ANYTHING negative about your cust svc experience with them. I was forced to finally put in my review simply that Kohls won't let me talk about my cust svc purchase/return experience, and only that I bought x product and then I returned it. Yes, the sun rose in the morning and then the sun set in the evening. About same value of their review if you had a problem experience. Long as you had no problem with purchase, then the use of the site is ok. Truly nothing exceptional.

I'm writing a review mainly because as an IT person, I've developed a vendetta against their site. They've been overdue for years to revise it to be more mobile friendly. I can think of two transactions that I cancelled after spending over an hour getting redirected by late loading ads because there were errors in the checkout process. I recently decided to save myself the hassle to get some summer wear and shop in store. I have a Kohls charge and went to pay my bill today. I had to borrow a PC because no browsers on any of the mobile devices I had could dispaly their new terms pop up fully so I could not agree and load the site on anything mobile. To repeat. I love the brands, offers, and product. But they need to have a serious performance review of their site, do some massive revisions, and start testing site changes like new term agreements on multiple platforms. So I'll give two stars for the product but they have a ton of room for improvement.

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT use a mobile device to access it. It's annoying, but wait for the page to fully load or chances are you will accidentally click and redirect to a random page. Most of their pages are overloaded with images and banners and the load times are inconsistent.

Products used:
Usually buy shoes, shirts, and pajamas there. Especially love the sonoma brand and maxi chemise pajamas. Will occasionally purchase kitchen, home, gift, etc. options there was well. My favorite quilt, shower curtain, lounge chairs for outdoors, etc. came from there as well. I've trailed off on purchasing there due to an increasing dissatisfaction with their website and I live too far away to shop there in person often.

I purchased earrings on line, I got a email said my order is ready to pick up. I didn't pick up this order. They don't know where this order is, and dont care, the customer care did care about me or my order. All she was want to refund my money back on these earrings from your store, and your mess up, someone stole my earrings. This is bad business for khol store. I think they need to do better job for their customers, we keep them in business.

My daughter and I went to Kohl's this afternoon to drop off an Amazon return. My teenage daughter was itching to have me buy her something with that $5 Kohl's cash incentive we got for the Amazon return. I told her I would consider getting her a useful item of clothing like pj pants or a sweater/shirt. We searched the entire store and could not even find a pair of pj pants other than knit middle/old age lady ones. Not a pair of flannel pj pants to be found! Seriously? Not even 1 shirt in the young ladies area did she even consider trying on. There was nothing remotely attractive in the entire area. But walking through the store on our way OUT, we saw racks and racks of the most hideous clearance clothing I've seen in ages. Wow, can't believe no one wants to buy that vinyl, vomit green Moto jacket. Or the rectangle shaped beige dress/Ace bandage. Hard to tell which it was…Need some Granny panties or cheap shapewear? Then you're luck. Huge supplies of them. I am their target age range but I didn't see anything in that store that I wanted except a pair of black yoga type pants and of course they only had them in a size XXL. That's it, no other sizes. But if I wanted Capri length tight athletic/yoga pants at the end of November I would have had my choice of options. Regular length? Who would want those? Kohl's Corporate Buyers must be idiots. Seriously very brain cell limited narcissists who can't just ask the shoppers in the local stores what merchandise they feel is needed in their area. I guarantee not 1 person in my area would be voting for that vinyl vomit-green motorcycle jacket. You guys are killing your own stores. Wake up.

I love Kohl's and have shopped at other Kohl's locations for years. However, I must say that I absolutely hate going to this store. It is always a mess! I actually refer to it as "messy kohl's". It's even a mess first thing in the morning which is a good indicator that it wasn't straightened and cleaned at night. The employees on the floor are rude and do not say hello or attempt to assist you in any way. This morning I heard two employees openly complaining about other employees and the store in general. One of the used profanity and I find that so unprofessional. The employees at the register are usually more friendly and accommodating but by the time you get to them... But You have already fought your battles with messy displays, clothes on the floor and rude employees.

I will not be going back to this store any time soon. It's ashame... I have been a loyal customer since the day it opened.

I don't like that they mark items UP just to give me a "discount." It's annoying & I'd rather just do business with straight shooters. Ido like some of their merchandise, though, so 2 stars.
