A compliment to Hayley from Kmart Rhod, who made efforts to help me as a dad finding toys on 8/1/2023.
I urgently need to speak to an operator. I have called your customer service line 5 times and the only option I am give is a text box but when I try text it comes up with an error every time. I have attempted emailing and have not heard back. My Kmart order has been "delivered" - with 4 parcels all apparently signed off by me and delivered at my address. The big problem is I have not signed these and they are not at my address. I need help now! Tracking id: CPBM6IZ0717300 CPBM6IZ0726224 CPBX20C4026950 CPBM6IZ0714695
I tried to order an air purifier but after I order it my order was cancelled due to no stock. Unhappy.
I was a loyal customer some time ago. But my last order from Kmart never even arrived. I tried to contact them but was ignored. I'm not sure if I'll try to order from them again.
I do not like the changes that Sears made after buying KMart. It is still though an average store, just not one I shop at much anymore since they have practically eliminated the big and tall department even though the nation is both taller and fatter than it ever was before. It seems like a counterintuitive strategy frankly and they have done in our metro area a poor job of keeping up the electric wheelchairs as well.
Kmarts online shop is wonderful but it could have a lot more of their actual stock on the website, usually i have to go instore to get what i need.
They had become quite pricey and the quality of their items are not all that.
The stuff was good but i think shipment services was not good
I used to love Kmart, but I can honestly see why they are losing ground. Their prices are no longer competitive with other stores and their shelves are often empty or bare of advertised items. Really has declined in the past 10 years.
When I compare one cruiseship to another, I saw Carnevail is like K Mart; Royal Caribbean, Holland American and Norwegian are like Macy's and Crystal is like Nordstrom.
That should give you a picture.
Kmart used to be the Walmart of savings in small towns, but now it is almost the joke store. The last time I went in, they had moved the kitchenwares section, but the sign for kitchenwares was still up, only it was over the automotive department!
They do still carry some decent brands of clothing that do not fall apart, but the deals are not that good and cannot compare with Walmart and Target.
The two biggest issues is that they almost never have enough cashiers so that you wait in long lines and the items hardly ever ring up true to price.
A recent sale of BOGO shoes where you buy one pair and get the second free, rang up both pairs at full price. To get the price undone, they have to send someone to find your shoe, read the sign, send you over to customer service where you wait a half hour and finally tell you that the sale ended yesterday and someone just forgot to take the sign down, so you are out of luck and if you want a refund, you will have to go stand at the end of the line again, etc. - in short, poor customer service and employees who really seem to not like working there.
You are likely to see rusty old cars parked out front and shoppers wearing nightgowns and slides and pajama bottoms who take five minutes or longer just to pull out the cash, check or debit card and struggle to put everything back in their wallets and collect their bags and move on.
If you are one who likes to get in and get out in a hurry, then don't even think of shopping there!
Getting dated. Kmart used to be a go to store for our family. Over the last few years their stores have been looking very dated and not keeping up with their competition. Always feel that the stores are about ready to close down and go out of business.
I do not like to buy it there, it seems like a "cheap" place full of products from China.
Wouldn't say it is the best place for shopping, but sometimes I come across good items.
If you take advantage of the site-to-store shipping option, sometimes you can get things even cheaper than you'd find them in your local Kmart.
They closed our store, don't know why, but wish it was back. I miss it. Have to drive to another town or order online and pay S&H.
They are not the Kmart they used to be, but they serve a niche in our community for lower income folks. I think their prices are good for most of their items. Selection not so good, but depends on how picky you are. Good value and variety.
They have top end ideas and prices. But I love to browse the pet section.
Not enough cashiers when they need them, when they did add some cashiers the people who just walked up got in line first.
