Placed order 11/29 Received wrong product 12/7 Notified keyless on 12/7,12/11 and 12/19 Complaints noted in Order Details under Status History & Comments but no action taken by keyless Opened dispute with PayPal 12/27 12/28 keyless contacts me offers return label 1/1 I ask for the return label 1/3 keyless provides label 1/4 I drop off package at FedEx 1/15 keyless says package has arrived but needs PayPal dispute cancelled before shipping out new lock 1/15 I cancel dispute 1/29 I send keyless email stating payment has been released for two weeks now! 1/30 keyless cancels order, says As it turns out, Lockey replaced the lock you ordered (E910 Electronic Deadbolt Lock) with a new model (E915 Electronic Deadbolt Lock) and called it "the E910 replacement." For a short while afterward, the warehouse staff incorrectly assumed that they could just send E915s in place of E910s. While the new model is very similar (except for the shape of the lock body and internal parts which have been upgraded), the price increase was significant. Otherwise, this replacement would have been fine, as we usually allow upgrades like this at no charge. However, in this case, the price increase was just too much. So, the only thing we can do now is cancel your order and issue you a refund of the full amount you paid, including shipping. We will do this shortly and send you an email confirmation. Please accept our sincere apologies for all the confusion. Thank you for trying our product(s). Please consider KeylessEntryLocks.com again in the future should your needs change. In need of a replacement latch for a pool gate lock, which pool gate is required by state law to be closed and latched, I explained my need to quickly obtain and install the latch. The contact person was very helpful and placed the order. However, after a few days, I was notified that receipt of the latch would be delayed due to receiving stock from a foreign country. After a week's delay, I found another supplier who had the latch in stock. The contact person was very helpful in cancelling my order.

Gate instructions would have been nice and better instructions is very much needed. Plus you were missing some screws that are metric and not easy to find in stock locally. I like the style of the product and dont want to use another but if this continues i will have no choice

Was not told upon purchase that I would have another $34.00 of charges for Import duties, which would have to be paid in advance and only online, before delivery. Message said item ready to be delivered. When I tried to pay, there was an error with the courier site and took me 2 days to sort out. So much wasted time, this was 2 days ago. Today I receive a message that lock won't be delivered for another 3 days!

I feel I should have been appraised of any import duties at purchase. Quite possibly, I would have shopped elsewhere. I don't feel this transaction was up-front and transparent.

The lock is very well constructed and durable. But the issue is with the code sequence. If I set the code to X1234 then any combination of those numbers work. Ex: 3241X, 4231X, 3X241, etc... This is not a good thing. It takes the number of possible code combinations and makes it easier to find. I will be taking this lock down and buying another one that actually works right.

While it is true that Lockey mechanical locks allow the numbers to be pressed in any sequence, most people find that the total number of possible combinations is quite acceptable once they see how many there actually are.

I just purchased a 285P lock. The website nor video's talk about installation. It does provide the dimensions of the lock but doesn't point it out that if the lock opening is larger than the width of the lock, you'll need to purchase the metal trim plate. I found this out after I received the lock and read the installation instructions. It was clearly stated if the hole size is greater then X, you'll need to purchase the trim plate.
If this was on the website, I would have pulled the original lock off the door to examine the hole diameter to confirm if I required the additional trim plate before purchasing the product. I now have to purchase the trim plate and pay shipping because the website's missing information.

I was told the item was in stock. "We have lots of them, how many do you want?" The next day when I ordered it they processed my payment without having the item in stock. It was a 2 week back order. When I called the lady said that she was "locking in" my order so when they came in 2 weeks from now they would ship it. A far cry from having "lots in stock"!
She processed my credit and 4 days later still no credit... ugh!

That is why this item was marked as "Out of Stock - ETA Oct 2018" on our website and on your receipt when you placed your order. The manufacturer was also completely sold out at that time.

Also, our records show that you asked to cancel your order on Fri, Sep 7,2018, at 5:08 PM and we refunded you at 5:21 PM that same day. You can see this in the Refund Confirmation email we sent you. Our part of the refund transaction was complete at that time, however, banks can take a while (up to 10 business days in some cases) to make refunds available. If you have not yet received your refund, you need to call the toll-free number on the back of your credit card, as we no longer have control over the funds.

I like the concept but I don't like the fact that you have to push another button to re-lock the door is somewhat disappointing. I bought the for some elderly relatives who have trouble with new things and can't seem to remember to push the button to re-lock the door once they have access. Also, action on the door knob is rough and very slow.

Hi Mark, Thanks for letting us know how you feel. It sounds like you might have a dead bolt lock is that correct? These have to be locked manually each time the door is closed. However,. We also have locks that lock automatically. These are called latchbolts locks. These will lock on their own every time you close the door unless you put them into what is called passage mode.
