“KETER outdoor utility shed”

A door broke in the wind. Three simple parts to fix and told not possible to get these obvious parts. No effort from Lisa the customer service clerk at all! I wanted her to at least check with the manufactures. She kept grilling me for information. I am not trying to even get the parts for free. How sad for such an expensive product!

A door broke in the wind. Three simple parts to fix and told not possible to get these obvious parts. No effort from Lisa the customer service clerk at all! I wanted her to at least check with the manufactures. She kept grilling me for information. I am not trying to even get the parts for free. How sad for such an expensive product!

We purchased the Oakland 1175 shed from Home Depot in October 2020 for about $1800. The Keter website states," Keter's sheds can handle the harshest of weather conditions." NOT SO. As of October 2023, our shed's roof has over 10 holes in it due to the occasional walnut or twigs that fall on windy days. When I contacted Keter, they said that it was an "act of nature" and is not covered under warranty. In order to replace the roof, they said it would cost $1300. Why? Because of shipping charges. So they expect me to pay 70% of the original price for the same crappy roofing? I am so beside myself as this is absolutely RIDICULOUS.

Received a Keter outdoor bar, missing a part - I send them an e-mail and got a ticket # but did not hear from them after a few weeks - Started calling them every day but no one there to answer your phone call, waited more than 45 min each time - Finally gave up. It is a good product but good luck if you need a support or parts. I got rid of the shipping box since it was hug and taking so much room, now I cannot even send it back. Never buy anything from Keter

Keter is fond of the phrase- 'its our process" They use it every time you express disappointment or with the resolution of your issue. In my case it was a missing part. It's a very heavy lift with these guys. My view is that the practical translation of "its our process' is that Keter doesn't care- we make it difficult because we know a certain percentage of folks will just give up. If you do feel compelled to buy one of their products- make sure it is fully assembled BEFORE disposing of any packing materials. If something is missing- take it back to the store- unless you are into jumping through manufactruer hoops.

I experienced an issue with the 230-gal Keter Outdoor Storage Box where a part of the top broke off. When I reached out to the company for assistance, they requested my receipt, which I did not possess. Despite being willing to pay for a replacement top, I was surprised to receive an email stating that they would sell me a replacement top for approximately $379. This seemed unreasonable, considering that I could purchase a new box for $300. I felt disrespected. I've included the actual email from the company showing where I wanted to order a replacement top.

I purchased a high quality Keter Fusion 757 Composite Shed from Home Depot Canada on March 14,2015 for ~$1240 CAD. The shed has a 10 year warranty. The door hinge pin wore down from normal opening and closing of the door, which is a common defect of this shed reported frequently among consumers (FN CL, and FN C1 are the failed components). I've contacted Keter with photos, receipt, proof of purchase, over 12 times across four months. Each call, they tell me to wait for my approved refund. There is no follow-up or refund. They do not manufacture the parts I need, so can't send parts to fix the issue. It's been ~3 months of chasing Keter customer support. A warning for others who might purchase from this brand, that while they are courteous to speak to and easy to reach, they don't follow through on refunds or issue resolution.

Tip for consumers:
I would think about purchasing a different brand.

I purchased a deck box and the lid quickly warped and won't close all the way, letting rain inside. I contacted the company as it was under warranty and they emailed me back asking for my receipt, pictures of damage, etc. I gave them everything they asked for and they completely stopped communicating with me. I've emailed them multiple times and they've just ignored me. The product is garbage, but was under warranty, and they aren't doing a thing to honor it. Google it before buying their products. They're complete junk! Never again!

I purchased a Keter Outdoor Utility Cabinet for additional storage in my garage for $299.00. It arrived very quickly which was impressive. That's unfortunately where the good bit ends.

I assembled the bottom half of the cabinet with no issues, however there is a design fault that prevents the top half panels from being connected to the bottom - i.e. The size of the two side connecting pieces on the base is 1cm bigger than the hole at the base of the top panels. It's impossible to assemble.
One of the top panels also has a serious crack, due to the inadequate packaging.

I have sent multiple emails, including pictures, to both email addresses listed on their website and have had no acknowledgement or reply. I started a webchat which was eventually answered and was told my email had been forwarded to a salesperson who would contact me. That was 4 weeks ago. I have heard nothing, despite further follow up emails.

So, I'm left with a half-assembled cabinet that is useless. And Keter have my $300.

Wish I'd read some of the other reviews before purchasing. Hoping this review saves others from this experience!

I purchased a 230 gallon deck box. Put it together and the next day a storm came through before I could purchase a clip to hold the lid down since it didn't come with one. Broke the lid. Called asking to buy a replacement lid and they told me it would be $371?!?! I questioned why would I pay $371 for a lid when the entire box brand new isn't even worth that. They told me there's nothing they can do it will be $371 or buy an entire new box. Even spoke to James the manager. Absolute JOKE.

Bought a Keter 8 x 6 premium beige and brown plastic shed with tile effect roof from Argos. 1. Delivery - boxes soggy, damaged, corners bashed and staples open, boxes delivered upside down which made it difficult to open and check parts. 2. Opened boxes to damaged parts and doors with stains, scratches and water marked along with warped panels. The tiled effect roof is nothing but a sheet of black plastic which is awful and poor quality. See image 6 which is the roof that speckley nonesense apparently is a tile effect. 3. Tried to contact Argos for hours, gets through signposted to Keter, was unable to get through to anyone. With storms forecast that night and old shed taken down had no choice but to go ahead and put up before equipment was damaged. 4. Putting the shed up would be very easy, instructions easy to follow...however, trying to force warped panels and getting it to fit was a nightmare. No drill holes in anything so be prepared to create drill holes before screwing anything which is a nightmare when trying to fix the roof. To add insult to injury the excuse of a roof is clearly cut wrong and didn't fit...have had to duct tape along to edge of a brand new £850.00 shed to keep it water tight. The overall quality for the money is absolutely shocking. The fact that you cannot speak to anyone to complain to at Keter is shocking. Substandard all round. Save your money and avoid this flimsy Wendy House excuse of a shed...already saving for a replacement!

Same story as the rest of the people here. My deck box cracked after a year of use due to the elements. Keter would not honor their warranty and their customer service is next to none.
Buyers beware!

I bought one shade from this company place the Order but system somehow charges twice! They sent me two order and charges twice same time it was 1485.00x 2. I did not have any clue and I did not know at all. It is very confusing company. Also they do not return money. I called multiple times, they are not cooperative. Somehow they will blame customer to make money! Stay away from this company! Now they are not returning my money. However I disputed from my bank. Also they said two different shipping address. They do not care about customer. I lost 1485.00. Do not use your bank or credit card.I explained whole thing that I did not order two but they sent two item. Now they say only within a month can be returned. It is confusing.

I am One of the Temporary Pop up shop at the Valley River Center mall, I sell handmade products and cotton candy. There is not indication that how much the waste garbage cost, got an email from the mall manager asked to set up the garbage service. One month later got a bill $227.61, the lease from 11/15-12/31. Other tenants pay $38 per month, their excuse is because I am a temporary pop shop that will cost more. My husband end up to pay all the bill, this should not happen to any one of the tenant. Make sure what you sign up for before sign the paper, ask them to show you how much it cost before sign the contract, there is nothing mention in the contract how much the garbage fee cost.

I purchased a Keter shed in January 2023 from Home Depot. The shed came damaged. I called customer service to address this issue and the customer service agent started talking bad about me (i guess she thought I was on hold). I then emailed them pictures of the damage and called out the agent who was talking badly about me. I was immediately offered a refund of $100 and that they apologized for what I heard and that I was not placed on hold first. Well just this past weekend we had a little wind storm, my shed completely damaged. I reached out again with pictures requesting a refund and they said they could not help me and forwarded me their 'weather warranty'. I am so disgusted with this company and the $#*! products they sell for thousands of dollars. Three months of a headache with this shed that I paid over a thousand dollars for! Do yourself a favor and AVOID this company at all costs. They do not care and their products DO NOT hold up! Ohhhhh and the best part is they said that I CAN purchase replacement parts haha! Nope not wasting anymore money.

Seems like a good raised garden bed but hard to confirm as I can't complete the setup. I was in the city (1 1/2 hour drive away) when I chose to pick up the Keter Darwin elevated self-watering garden bed. When I got home and got to work putting it together, I found it had 3 right legs and 1 left leg. I contacted Keter customer service and was told to return it to the store. It's heavy, it's planting season and all I want is for them to send me the appropriate left leg. Apparently they don't carry parts?! Why not crack open another box and send me the left leg I need to complete assembly. Sor frustrating!

I purchased a Keter shed from Costco. Two main parts had been damaged in shipping so I contacted the office on May 12. They started the process to replace the parts and asked that I send a copy of the receipt and photos. I was also informed that parts come from Israel and they would take 4-6 weeks. A confirmation email came in with a case # and I sent the requested to them within 15 minutes. I replied to the confirmation email and also cc'd another email that they had given me. I then received an auto reply confirming receipt.

Seven days later, I get an automated response with my case number saying that the replacement parts have not been shipped as they are still waiting for the requested receipt and pics. I call them immediately and the person verifies that they received by email and the parts would be shipping next week.

One more week goes by and I get another automated email with my case number saying that since I did not respond, my case was closed. I again call and they confirm that my case was closed and no parts were being shipped. I went through the entire story with the guy and he finds my emails and apologizes. He then tells me that the parts are now officially ordered and they will take 4-6 weeks.

This company has MAJOR customer service and/or computer system problems! Although the product quality looks good out of the box, you can't rely on their customer service if you ever need it. I was partially attracted to their product for the long warranty but from my experience, good luck if you ever have a problem!

Don't expect to get reliable customer support

We purchased a Deck Box at Costco and when we were 75% completed with the product assembly realized the two hinges for the top were missing. We wrote to Keter, as instructed in their assembly paperwork ("do not return product to retailer, call us first")... several calls were frustrating as we were on hold for over 30 minutes until we hung up. An auto reply email a day after we wrote confirmed they received our message and that they had created a case number. Now, 11 days later, we have heard ABSOLUTELY nothing and numerous calls result in long hold times without reaching anyone.
Great product, horrific customer service!
Will never purchase from Keter again as product is useless without the hinges for the top.

I worked for the company its a joke.they put 1 person. At times running 2 or 3 machines.some people are walking 15 miles plus in a warehouse on a 12hr 15 min shift.doing different companies at once. That means if they are doing tesco they will also do say aldi so don't be surprised if your goods are not checked.the quality control is a joke and I mean it.the mangerment they have had 3 site managers since was there.the HR also is a joke.the people with mental health problems are not looked after at all.you would think after a couple of suicides things would change.maybe they have.but the way things get run its not a good place to work. The workers do what they are told they are worried they lose there job. I stand by what I say.I could say more but it wouldn't be good.CHECK BEFORE YOU BUY THATS ALL I SAY

I purchased a Keter Corfu Patio set and it is fab, the only small niggle is that the screw covers are warped on one of the chairs and every time someone sits on the chair they ping off!
I went to the Keter site and have twice (may be even three times now) requested replacement parts. I have also used the site to contact the ironically named 'Customer Service' department about three times and have had no contact and no replacement parts...
As, I have said the product is lovely, sturdy comfortable and a very good looking item, but the fact is that it is not properly finished off due to these two covers!
It is a real shame that the company cannot invest some time and effort in their relationships with existing customers by providing them with a customer service that matches their products!

Tip for consumers:
Finally had two sets of screw covers arrive, so I thought I had better update my review. They did answer my requests, it just took absolutely ages! So, in fairness to Keter, good product just VERY slow Customer Service with no contact.
