The program SUMo from KC Softwares (they also have other software) is only partially to brew. It is a program update software. So it should always show the latest versions of the installed programs. It does not. JpgIlluminator was not recognized and an outdated version was marked as OK. The same thing now happens with XnViewMP. A current version is not recognized. Instead, SUMo stubbornly displays an outdated software version. Support was excellent at first. In the meantime, support no longer takes place. I paid almost 30 Euro for a lifetime license. The money is probably thrown out the window. After an angry approach to the French based company nothing will happen. I am looking around for an alternative.

I cannot recommend this software company. I don't know the other programs they develop.
My advice is to buy a one-year license at the most. That way you can try it out and if you don't like it, you can uninstall it after one year.
