“Terrible customer service from owner”

Website was dysfunction I ended up accidentally booking four different dates because it seemed after booking that dates were not available only to find that each transaction went thru all four. The company charged all four and when we found the mistake they returned some of money and kept a large cancellation fee for three of the canceled reservations. I asked them to return and the sent me this Hope, I would first like to state that we will be refunding 100% of the funds from all 4 transactions and your reservation is being cancelled completely.  We do not tolerate threats.  All refund documentation from Stripe for the different transactions on your American Express card are attached to this email. Please note, you chose and submitted reservations for 4 different sets of dates at the same house through VRBO, a site that we don't own, and processed it through Stripe, a site that we don't own.  All of those transactions are documented in multiple systems, VRBO, Stripe, our reservation system, and many different email systems.   Just so that you are aware for future reservations that you may attempt to make at other Vacation rentals, both VRBO and Stripe charge the homeowners fees each time you click that reservation button and make a reservation.  This is the reason that cancellations in general are refunded minus credit card transaction fees per the description, house rules, and the short term rental contract that you agreed to by clicking the button.  We can't control when, how, or why you click the button and those companies keep those funds even if you decide to cancel.   As of today you have cost us around $100 in credit card transaction fees due to your inability to ask a question to either VRBO, us, or perhaps another more tech savvy human being because you believed these large systems should work a specific way and it was different than how things actually work. We will consider this issue resolved as we have refunded 100% of all of your reservations, in the future please do not attempt to book any of our properties. Thanks, Justin I am a physician treating patients including those with Covid and needed my birthday week vacation. Just ruined that for me. There was no reason to charge a cancellation fee same day reservations were accidentally made by site due to faulty site Response to online complaint from Justin was that I made a threat which was to contact American Express and dispute charged (that was it) and he said I was discriminatory which is just crazy. How could I discriminate! Against who? I tried to call his office a few times never got return calls before I emailed telling him if I did t get response I would dispute w American Express
