A fairly painless way to get cash fast, the loan was deposited into my PayPal account with immediate access to the funds, excellent customer service.
Found it very easy and useful. Much better than others that wanted to charge me daily at high interest or that declined to lend altogether.
Jeff was very courteous and patient and answered all of my questions.
I would recommend Kabbage as a solid company with a good product.
Hi Gary! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. It means a lot!:)
- The Kabbage Team
Jeff Thornton great CSR. He was efficient and very thorough. I appreciate his promptness and consideration and for taking care of my account needs.
Company double charged my acct. Said will take 3-5 days to refund me. Nothing they can do. Pure garbage! Do not use. Better if using a credit card.
It was easy to get financing for my inventory with Kabbage. I just selected the amount I needed and in a few clicks the money was on its way.
Very happy with the account I just set up with Kabbage. Zelenka did an outstanding job helping to get me through the process in minutes.
Greg B. Was extremely helpful, we appreciate the fact that he went above and beyond to help us out, he is very personal and personal. Thanks Kabbage
Jared L. Was a huge help with my questions. Reps like himself are a huge reason I have chosen to stay with Kabbage for so long. Thanks!
I'm Very New to this company. Application process was the most friendliest, easy and very smooth. This company got all their ducks in the rows.
Thank you so much for the review! We have worked diligently and around the clock to help small business owners in this time of uncertainty. We are proud to help in some small way. Please stay healthy and safe during this time!
It was very easy working with the team at Kabbage. Greg was great, patient and informative. I'm glad I got the recommendation
I have has a good experience. I wish there was some kind of pay down program the was longer than 6 months.
They get the job done! Very little talk, all action. Money is in my account right away, the terms rock. Great company, great team, great partnership!
Whitley went above and beyond on helping me and explaining to me the options i have with my account. She is a tremendous asset to Kabbage
Getting a line of credit with Kabbage was the worst decision I've ever made for my business. Between the astronomical hidden fees and the insanely high interest, Kabbage is a lose/lose deal.
The company has no internal communication and terrible customer service. Condescending managers who are happy to run you through the ringer with no help.
Fast forward March 2020. Upon the start of corona virus, despite NEVER missing a payment, Kabbage yanked my line of credit. As my city was shutting down, when my business needed additional funds more than ever, with out any reason or notice, the cancelled my line of credit. When I called, they said it was because my credit score went down... they were correct, it did go down. 3 points.
I continue making my payments, and eventually reach the point where things are getting pretty grim and need to make some arrangements. I call in weekly, let customer service know how much I can pay and when and think it's all good. There is NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER within the company. Essentially, even if you just make the agreed upon payment and set a date for the next payment, they are still going to bombard you with automated calls. Apparently they cannot figure out how to program their basic automations.
It's been a stressful 9 months, but I've been making my payments and arrangements diligently without too much issue, until today. I'm in manufacturing, in Louisiana and last week we had a storm which knocked out power for days... in some areas it's still not on. Because of the outage, I literally have no work going out until earliest next week. I have a small payment ($1100ish) that I figured I could defer to next week. I honestly did not think it was a big deal, as I've deferred payments before. After getting bounced around to three people who could not help me with my request, I get passed off to the "manager" Jared.
I expressed my issues with Jared, who pretty much said once the payment was set there was nothing he could do about it. I found that hard to believe, and albeit, was very stressed/frustrated at this point, and I imagine it showed in my tone. Jared then proceeded to tell me I could call chase to issue a stop payment. Quite frankly, after sitting on their phone, and getting bounced from person to person, one wrong department to another, the last thing I wanted to do was sit on another automated call, especially since Kabbage was a complete waste of my time. I may have said something along the lines of "I won't even be able to get a person on the line at chase.", which while not true, we all know it means I have an even longer, more frustrating call in my future. In a completely uncompassionate and condescending manner, Jared then offer to give me the phone number to chase.
(At that point I hung up on him. I'm seeking help, not some dude to talk down to me.)
I read about 20 Reviews on here, Yes, Some People do qualify for the 2% Fee. (this is 2% Per Month) Read the Fine Print Our Business has been Operating for 6 Years, Our Credit Line is approx 22K. Are the Fees Still High? Yes, They are, But We also have a Bank Line of Credit and When you Are Going for A Business Line, The Interest Rate is Never Great because there is a Fair Amount of Risk involved for the Lender.
Now, I have never Defaulted on my Kabbage Account, But I read alot of reviews from people who have and they say Kabbage is Ruthless. Heres the Facts, You took the Money, You agreed to the Terms, If you did not read that part, Its on you. Kabbage is all Automated so No they dont care if you have a Bad Month, And You need to plan ahead, Being in Business is more than selling stuff, and if you are borrowing, you must have a plan in place to pay it back. If you are purchasing your product correctly, Repayment should not be a problem, Dont Bite off more than you can chew and Don't Default. I use them a couple times a year. I Would recommend this company to a well organized business who has a good understanding of their returns on an investment. There are companies Popping up like this all over now, Paypal is great, but You can only take one at a time. Im very Happy with Kabbage its a great Backup.
The customer service rep was available right away. She was able to guide me through the process very efficiently.
Kabbage has been excellent. The only downfall is they dont update your account info as much as they should.
I had to use them due to a health crisis in my family. Wow, the interest is a killer. The money came quickly but wow I s expensive. Wb Hawaii
She really followed up with me and i liked that sometimes people don't follow up but she did. Very satisfied with the service
Answer: I definitely would not recommend Kabbage to anyone, but especially to someone starting a new business. The interest and fees will kill your new business before you've even had a chance to get it started. I own a small business (2 employees, $200K in annual sales) that is over 15 years old, and the Kabbage loan I took out for $25K for an expansion nearly bankrupted my business. There are better ways to find funding for a new business - grants are out there for women who want to start a business, you can try your luck at crowdfunding (look at Kickstarter, Indiegogo, Rocket Hub, Crowdrise, Angellist, Quirky, and others), approach local friends or family members who would like to invest in your business (you can use ZimpleMoney, com to keep track of their loan payments). Kabbage is a stupid and dangerous way to start up a business. Only a complete idiot would do that.
Answer: Thanks for your question, John. Kabbage's loans are fundamentally different in structure from a traditional loan. Interest isn't charged on the loan balance, and a customer can pay a loan back early and save on future fees. We encourage you to take a look at our "How it Works" page on our website for help understanding the fee structure. If you have any questions not answered there, you can give us a call at 888-986-8263. Thanks for getting in touch!
Answer: Hi Jessica, you can go on their site and enter the amount you want to "borrow" and Kabbage will give you this information up front before you agree to receiving the cash. I borrowed $21,000 and paid nearly $8,000 in interest and fees. It HURT my business, very much! I strongly encourage you to try other companies or look to local lending networks or a local bank.
Answer: It's based on them having access to your bank account through you online banking. You need to provide your institution and password so they have full access to your account. They are not trustworthy. Do not allow them access to that information.
