My Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue pup ate raisins. Dr. Black gave me clear, concise treatment options, walked me through inducing vomiting with precise instructions, and stayed available until the crisis had passed. So impressed with the speed with which I received help as well as the professionalism and caring shown to me and my dog. I was able to treat her in my own home and save a very expensive trip to the emergency vet on a weekend.

Absolute scam artists. Quote that it will be a $2 refundable amount then charged AU $68. I didn't avail of any services. They then lock the chat so you can't communicate with them at all. Terms and conditions not accessible which is in breach of legislative requirements.

The vet was polite and knowledgeable, its the dishonest service I have a problem with. They send you a text saying join for just $5 fully refundable, then it sends you to a secure page. At that point I just wanted an answer and I trusted the $5 price (I should have read the whole page). On that secure page it states in small print there is a $35 a month membership fee. I cancelled after my chat but have been charged $40. Misleading.

Update- I have changed my review to 3 stars. I have now been refunded the membership fee. Customer service refused to help until I left the negative review.

It's advertised as $5 but it's that plus a hidden $35 MONTHLY charge. I wish they would have made that more clear. Secondly, it took over 4 hours to finally answer me which made me think I had been scammed. The only positive thing I can say is that the advice I did get about my dog was super detailed and very helpful.

Tip for consumers:
The advice I received was super helpful and probably saved me a lot of money in the end. The way they bill is sketchy and you can’t remove your card information yourself to unsubscribe to their automated payment systems.

The expert I was connected with was helpful, but I was led to believe I would pay a $1 fee for a 1-time chat with an option to continue with a $31 per month membership. I was charged the $1 fee and the $31 membership fee up front, requested cancellation immediately, and was told the fees were nonrefundable. Not exactly bang for your buck, especially if you can't afford it in the first place.

Tip for consumers:
Don't ask even a first time question if you're not prepared to pay for at least a month's membership.

UPDATE: Customer service reached out to me to let me know they would refund the $30.00 fee I was charged. I greatly appreciate that! Thank you so much.

The tech was very helpful and we were able to get the app downloaded. However, I did NOT know I was going to be charged $30.00 for the service. I was told by what I assume was an AI bot that the charge would be a fully refundable $5.00. Nowhere did I see anything about a $30.00 charge. I thought I was speaking to someone at Samsung help, but I guess I wasn't. I'm glad we got our problem fixed and the tech was very nice and patient, but you all need to be more upfront about the cost.

When I first presented my problem, they wanted an additional $39.99. That was all after paying my trial fee and automatically taking my money out of my bank account for full membership. I wanted my money back, but they refused.

Eventually I got my problem fixed and was very grateful for that. Buyer beware.

Fast and easy setup. Vet provided an answer to my question promptly. Iniitial price was fair. The reason for the 3 stars is I tried cancelling the monthly subscription, but numerous requests were answered with boilerplate "membership subscription policy". I didn't use and didn't want the monthly subscription and feel ripped off for the continued membership plan. Definitely lack of transparency in terms of pricing and canceling the membership is difficult and time consuming.

My 4 wk old kittens were constipated and JUST ANSWERS was able to help me. Still working on it but the advice was professional and correct. Thanks. I hope the $1 trail is over and I don't have to pay monthly chgs as happened before. I don't need to subscribe, the trial was fine.

We logged onto their site to basically see how it worked; ( we used paypal-/ a safe & user friendly co. /they look out for their customers. L) Anyway``we already knew the answer to the question we were asking! - we did not get a qualified answer -! We were redirected to a guy that basically retyped what we typed in our original question ( all is in writing - so that can be verified); in short; we requested a refund & cancellation from their site & they rapidly responded & agreed to credit us & cancel future auto drafts.- Which is the professional thing to do.** ( i applaud them for that!.) If you decide to tap into their site & give them your C card Info; FIRST; make certain to *first *read thru the sites reviews & policies //As you should on any Co`S. Site! Be aware / look into their hidden charges ( if any?) & ( in this case) who there redirecting your questions to; What are there qualifications: How do they verify / qualify those individuals/ & stated qualifications? And where can you see those qualifications? Do they allow you to see those qualifications? Basically -anyone can state that they are an expert? / Best of luck. Jim

Hello,

My membership was canceled on 9/13/22.

On 10/18; 11/18; and 12/18/22, they were still at it and believed it would not be noted. In your dreams! It was so evident that it was done consciously and to swindle elderly people like myself, who were the ones highly susceptible.

What I don't understand is why I am being charged $28.00 and $46.00. I was even charged $90 for a call, which I was not supposed to because of where I was or my country. It has been roughly almost a year since I haven't used its service.

I would love to come back since the Experts were beneficial and great people to interact with—especially the legal team.

Our cat was sick. Our vet couldn't see him for 2 weeks. In a panic, we reached out to Just Ask for help. The call was made quickly to us by the vet. A quick diagnosis of acute gastritis was made. OTC meds were prescribed. It was wrong. The meds covered up what was really going on. He needed an emergency vet, it would have saved our kitty. He was heading towards Acute kidney failure. We followed the prescribed treatment as he got sicker. We took him to the vet and found out that if we had brought him in earlier, they could have pulled him back from the edge. We followed the Just Ask prescribed steps instead of going to any vet, as a result despite our vets heroic care, Jasper died. As an insult to injury, when we initially looked at Just Ask for help, we unwittingly signed up for a membership. If you don't cancel said membership in a few days, you are charged for the full monthly membership of $39. Even after seeing the initial $39 fee, I was unaware that it was a monthly membership until 2 weeks after my kitty's death when I was charged again. I reached out to the company and was refunded this month alone and canceled my membership. Be aware that you are signing up for more than you may be bargaining for. Also note, Nothing can beat a hands on approach. A vet visit to any vets office can be a game changer for both you and your furry friend.

Tip for consumers:
Be very careful asking a virtual vet questions about your furry friends. They ask a couple quick questions and make a guessed diagnosis. If the guess is wrong, it can end in death, as it did for our beloved kitty. Be aware you are signed up for a full price membership if you don't cancel within a few days. You won't receive any email making you aware of the membership or its benefits either. It's a total sucker punch.

The robot wanted to know if I wanted to proceed and receive the form for $1. Sounds easy right? NO. I completed the form, then spoke briefly with a very knowledgeable/kind doctor. Received a conversation text to check out memberships because there are so many benefits. So I clicked on memberships. Suddenly my eye catches at the bottom of the paragraph in faint lettering, the next membership fee will come out next month date. I did not purchase a membership, so I called in. Not an easy number to find... They tell me that when you select to have the $1.00 form sent, they AUTOMATICALLY sign you up for the $46/mo. Membership fee. I canceled on the web page, received the confirmation email the membership was cancelled but did not say anything about a refund. Responding back on the chat feed, I demanded my refund. It wasn't until that moment, that I realized I had been talking to a robot. The company they do not refund first visits. They would be alot more honest, if they charged for the visit. I won't be going back.

About 3 months ago I used this service to get access to a Vet for my dog who was having an allergic reaction.

For a $35 dollar opportunity and a $5 sign up fee, I thought that to be much cheaper than a true vet visit.

The vet was very pleasant to talk to and was definitely trying to help my dog and I out. At the end of it all, that conversation probably saved me a pretty penny at the vet.

The problem was that $35 sign up was actually a non-refundable subscription. I feel as though when I was signing up, it wasn't overly clear I was signing up for a recurring fee. Maybe some of this was the situation I was in, concerned for my dog, that led me to overlook some of the fine print. Regardless I get my statement the next month, and there is an extra $35 charge. I quickly find my login credentials and cancel the membership. Then I reached out to the customer care to see about a refund, turns out the fee can't be stopped and is non refundable.

I want to say the service I had was great, I just feel like it is kinda crumby business practice to hide the auto-renewal aspect, then not let it be dropped.

While information from the legal professionals is useful, beware the fee. Maybe I need to be more aware of fine print, but I thought the first question was $1. I was wrong. The first question begins a recurring $46 monthly payment. The $1 seems to be a lure.

I am writing to express my concerns and disappointment regarding the billing practices I recently experienced on the JustAnswer platform. When I first interacted with JustAnswer, I was under the impression that I would be charged a nominal fee of $1, as was prominently advertised. To my surprise, my credit card was billed for an entire month's service without my explicit consent or clear notification. Such practices can be perceived as deceptive, making customers feel misled and frustrated. It's vital for businesses, especially those operating online, to maintain transparency and trust with their users. When customers feel they've been mistreated or have fallen victim to unclear billing procedures, it not only impacts their relationship with the service but can also deter potential new customers. Apr 17 late: my Verizon voicemail wasn't working. Got on VZW.com but then somehow got on a chat text thing with just answer who wanted $1 on my debit card. The lady asked what phone I had an what devices are in the house. The voicemails came back and I was happy. I then payed another dollar for help with the notification dot but gave up. Next day Citi says a $1 debit and a $41 debit. I called Just and got a guy who sounded like George Soros and he straightened it out though he was dodgy about affiliation with Verizon. Then I got an email that my membership has been cancelled. How did they fix my voicemail?

Be careful they charge $1 to ask a question then you are signed up for a whole month, even if you cancel the same day they charge you a full month membership not refundable.

Question was answered but the bank balance is $55 lower even though I won't use this again this month. They even removed the initial bank charge of $55 and re-posted the charge 3 days later.

Really deceptive, I would rather they charge me $10 for one question and no monthly fee. Their customer service gives no service, just " I am sorry but you signed up even though you cancelled" This was for Yahoo, they don't even have their own customer service support amazing

Initially the services were fantastic. I signed up to ask a couple of legal questions. I knew that I wasn't going to need the services for longer than a month so I made sure to cancel right after I had signed up. Doing so would keep me from being billed for a second month. Pearl seems to be the virtual assistant and she was very short and rude with me. On or about April 2,2022 I cancel my membership, receive chat confirmation from Pearl and I thought that was the end of it. I never received a confirmation email or text and that's when I should have realized something was wrong. Fast forward to the following month when I noticed a charge on my account from justanswer.com for another billing cycle. I try to contact them right away via chat and pearl is very short with me and continues to disconnect from my chat. At this point I'm pretty frustrated so I send an email as well as try to call the 800 number. I also continue try the chat when I finally get a hold of what Pearl and she connect's me with someone named Andre. I explain the situation to him and he still refuses to refund. Mind you I haven't used the services in 2 weeks. My experience with the customer service department was horrible. There was no professionalism and there was no courtesy. I know without a doubt that I spoke with pearl and canceled my membership on or about April 2,2022 and they failed to cancel it, charged me for another month and are now refusing to refund me. Honestly speaking to both of their customer service Representatives was like dealing with my abusive ex who tried to gaslight me all the time. I literally felt like they were gaslighting me. This is my experience with them. I highly recommend that you are very careful when dealing with them as far as your membership goes. Be very clear and make sure you receive confirmation via email or text when you decide to cancel your membership.

Other than the poor customer service and they're complete disregard for my problem, the experts working with them to answer questions are great. It was a wonderful and inexpensive way to get some legal questions answered. Make sure you read the trial information because it's not a $1 trial, it''s $1 to verify your bank account and then they charge you $46 right away. This is another way to get you.

I paid the £1 for free trial, and was told that's all it's going to charge me that fee, so I do not want to be charged anymore, as I would like to opt out of the membership to just answer now please, as I'm a pensioner, and getting on to match.com was a total mistake, and couldn't get off it, and was so grateful that you solved it for me. So please I will never do anything like that again, so please end the account when my free trial ends on the 4th November 2019. Many thanks c lowes

A little difficult with their web design writing the review on my laptop seems like the website is built for smartphones only. Might be my system, very slow, lagged when typing.

I received an estimate for my car that I felt was inaccurate after doing the online research. I spoke to the tech and he gave me incredibly accurate information about my car as I was being ripped off by the dealership with flat out lies. I felt really good about it. $5.00 was way too little so I will probably stay with the membership for a while.

Who are they to address businesses on a public forum like this!
They get paid so you can read and be served ads.
